VIDEO: Two Zaha goals put Palace in play-off final

Wilf Zaha scored two goals for Crystal Palace tonight in their 2-0 win over Brighton. Zaha’s parting gift to his club is to give them the opportunity to win promotion by putting them in the play-off final at Wembley.

Tidy little player. Hope he gets lots of chances.

In a year or two who knows? Might be saying Bale who?

  2. KVN says:

Well taken goals, and excellent passing. Looking forward to seeing him in
    a United shirt

  3. Hans says:

Well done Wilf. Cannot stand that fucking rent boy Gus Poyet!

Also well done to Norwich City Youth team for beating young rent boys at their own turf and lifting the Youth FA Cup!!!!!

  4. soccerisfootbal says:

he’s got a bright future. lots of pace, strength, trickery, and a good delivery. with time and experience he could be tearing the prem apart.

but a the moment he’s got a lot to work on. hopefully we will see plenty of him in cup matches and maybe off the bench in the league.

  5. alfREDo says:

Results are starting to fall into place,
ForzaBenfica will finish it off nicely!!

  6. Kings says:

Excellent performance Wilf. Now go and win the final. See you at United next season. Oh and please keep your language in check. Haha.

  7. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

GO ON WILF LAD!!! WHAT A BEAUT OF A SECOND GOAL!!!! This lad is going to absolutely light up the league. Speed, strength, cab pull a rabbit out of the hat of he has to. all that needs work is his decision making and at United he will learn very very quickly from the master of all wingers, GIGGSY. Moyes likes giving the youngsters chances so Zaha will get his ample share of chances. Hopefully he hold down a spot quickly so his lightning fast devt can continue. Imagine an on-form Nani and Zaha on both wings. ELECTRIC.

Cup matches? He’s the player of the season and has just come through a whole season of games. He would be an absolutely massive upgrade on valencia or young, and I’d like to see him and nano on the wings next year to bring a little bit of the flair back to old trafford that has been missing, especially on the wing

  9. Costas says:

    Not bad with his head.

  10. Toms says:

Looks solid. Remember that was the championship and that he’s very young. He shouldnt be expected to out perform Nani or Valencia (maybe Young).

  11. King Eric says:

Kings mate as I said to you the FA will enforce the made up Rooney law and ban him for four games!

Well done Wilf. Great second. Was impressive tonight and will only improve.

Hans. Yes I hate that Rentboy cunt Poyet too. Especially with his siding of Suarez in the Evra incident.

  12. Ruks says:

@tom, both valencia and nani are in trouble. Bout Young….#notin to say#

  13. NBI Red Onion says:

Nani did look sad at both celebrations, his future is also in the balance and this has not been a good term for him despite some good performances, just as he came back into form he got injured. I would still like to keep Nani.

  14. Toms says:

I think people are just prone to hate on Nani. He’s had some absolutely fantatic seasons and this one he was injured mostly but was pretty damn good most of the time he was on. He made things happened and if we needed a spark nani is a player who could deliver it. You can’t say the same about Valencia who is literally half a Ronaldo and you can’t say that about Young who’s best virtue is being english.

I hope we aren’t pinning all our hopes on an 18 year old championship winger. It’s unfair to both us and him and at worst will hurt his development.

  15. calebkzh says:

Tidy little touch and turn for his second goal. Can’t wait to see what he’ll bring to United. No doubt he won’t quite be at Valencia or Nani’s standards quite yet, but Young…

  16. lordrt says:

Let’s hope he fits in the team when he comes, and plays more regularly and stays injury free as well

  17. parryheid says:

So you reckon Zaha is a better prospect than Morrison was? Must be quite fantastic.

  18. Ginger Medievalist says:

Looks good! Hope Zaha and Powell get a good few games next season. Can’t wait to see how they develop.

  19. belfast red. says:

Definitely one for the future. No disrespect to palace, but his skills will get honed and only improve at United. Off topic. Hope the lad nani stays. Given a good run in the team injury free he is one of the most talented wingers in Europe let alone the prem.

  20. King Eric says:

Parry. Totally different players and by looks attitudes.

  21. parryheid says:

    King Eric.

No doubt,Not seen him but seriously find it hard to believe we have a player who shows better talent than Morrison did at that age.

  22. samuel - united WE stand says:

Parry – morrison and zaha are not even in the same age group, they are not even similar players.

They have different attitudes as wel but his potential is for all to see. Confident and classy on the ball. powerful, skillful, determined, good pace and all round technician. What a smacker of an header but the 2nd goal is superb. I think if nani stays and gets back to his best, united will have two flexible creative wide men, they’d bring the flair and unpredictability united need against the very best but i don’t want pressure laid on zaha, must be given time to settle but the potential is high.

  23. parryheid says:

    samuel_united We stand.

I am fully aware that Morrison is out of his teens now(not by too much) did you watch him coming through our Acadamy ? I am saying I very much boubt Zaha surpasses Morrison at a sinilar age.Would say as regards the attitudes of both lets wait and see what kind of agent Zaha has over the next couple of years when settled into United. And if you can have a look at the kind of player Morrison waswhile here.

  24. wazzer says:

    get on wilf
