VIDEO: Valencia vs Valencia

“Antonio’s performance was the most exciting part of the night for me,” said Ferguson on Wednesday. “He has power and speed. Coming to our club, he has taken up the challenge and played with a lot of purpose.”

vidic will get ya leave Rom now i got a feeling your boss is coming

  14. Devilton says:

Exciting times ahead…love the young mans willingness to take on players and he is certainly blessed with raw pace which is something you can’t be taught. I honestly think he will be a revelation this season and go on and achieve some fabulous things at this club. Perhaps not as a superstar, but as one of those players that superstars just love to play alongside.

  15. 9jmac says:

Ya know whats great to see Scott? Our right winger tracking back helping the team defend ;)

  16. gotta hate tiny tears says:

    you speak the truth
i got evra and valencia mixed up a few times watching the match

  17. andsolskjærhaswonit... says:

    A Proper, Proper Winger

  18. pawaka21 says:

personally, he is different from ronaldo way of play, which is good. united is always been good in changing the way we play, just what happened when becks leave us and we started changing our way of play just what ronaldo and co had done all these years. now he gone and united will always survive and keep changing the way we play. not like arseNAL which the gampelay too predictable and virtually unchanged. valencia is more gigsy type of winger for me, willing to take on players, and willing to track back and help the defensive play, something obviously we cant get from ronaldo.

i pray he will make it at united.

  19. hurr says:

Why does he has that serious face all the time? Looks a bit tense IMO.

  20. United4eva says:

Never thought about buying the United #25 jersey before in my life. Thinking of it now though…

  21. gotta hate tiny tears says:

thats a pic of the moment he became a manchester united legend
why he gets one of the biggest cheers when his name is read out over the p.a. at old trafford
thats the day he became tiny tears
and as you know you gotta hate tiny tears
check emily in her mr penalty t#shirt

  22. theboogeyman says:

wazza mate, skysports is not working for me,can you tell me what the article is about? Thanks.

  23. theboogeyman says:

GHTT,did you know that the tshirtsunited guys were the ones attacked in Rome?I just saw it on their website.

  24. MUFC the Religion says:

Valencia has been great so far but I have no idea on how he’s going to do up against Cashley tomorow. Cole always kept Ronny quiet but hopefully Antonio can take him on and maybe get him booked early so that Cole will have to be careful, hopefully giving Valencia a better chance of beating him and putting in a wicked cross.

My prediction for tomorow is United to win 2-0. Rooney early goal, either Owen or Berba in second half. I’ve put a £10 bet on Owen and I really think he will score. The other night he played really well but was unlucky.

    Come on United.

  25. theboogeyman says:

And there’s a pic of Emily on there. lol

  26. wazza (Bezi) says:

@theboogeyman : Toon CB Steven Taylor said the following- I’ve read every week that next week Alan is going to be named manager. Then Joe Kinnear is going to get the job, then Kevin Keegan and then Alan Shearer again. I don’t get it. The club is a joke.

  27. sir82 says:

For once I agree with the gaffer! (j/k)

  28. theboogeyman says:

@wazza:lol Even their own players know it!

Look at the last 2 comments. The ones at the bottom of the page.

  29. Jayunited4eva says:

also never noticed his built when he was at wigan.
but here,he’s bursting out of our shirt.

  30. nagdaddy says:

give him the #7 come on now please fergie

  31. willierednut says:

I think valencia will turn out to be the signing of the season, it ill be intreresting to see how he does 2moz. GHTT great line last nite, shity hav’nt won the league in 40 odd years we hav’nt won it in 85 days classic. Watched real last nite, ronny scored, he seemed to link up well wiv benzema, the dippers losing 1 0 to athletico jc wen of injured.

  32. Jay says:

He still n eed fantasy to be an amazing player

  33. 20legend says:

What impresses me most about Valencia is the absolute hunger he has to do well. You can see it in his face, you can see it in the way he plays. He really wants to do well. I have no doubts at all that barring injuries he will be a top, top player for United. He just needs to work on his touch and shooting IMO. He won’t score 42 in a season, but I think he can be a fantastic goal threat. Loved the pass for Kiko, cracking vision. Now if only Nani or Tosic can be a similar threat on the other wing…

  34. King Eric says:

gotta hate – Fucking hell man, how many t-shirts have you got? Or are you and Emily “models” for the shop?

Any joy with Tiny tears one yet please mate?

  35. manutdchampions2008 says:

like I said united maybe faster in attack again now that united have a winger in valencia who will stretch teams. thats what ronaldo was not doing last year stretching defences and united became to one dimesional. he could be like robben in 2005.

  36. javac says:

I’ll get shot for saying this, but has anyone else seen a similarity between Valencia and Best? The one footed, single minded, ball loving dribbling ability? I reckon the turn of pace and drive+acceleration are similar. Two outstanding players, one became (one of ) the best ever to grace a United shirt and the world, the other with his path opening up in front of him.

    Please don’t shoot me…

Came across this one of Obertan and he looks like Ronnie at 18:

  37. manutd4eve says:

valencia will b big thread for the big teams and he will rib a part opposition defence no doubt about that. dont u believe me? lets get the answer tomorrow when we play against chelski. dont forget he scored 7 goals for valencia last season mean he will bag 15 this season the way we create chance(berba rooney evra etc etc) definetly he will pick 15 goals apart from his assists, NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT HE WILL BE A STAR AT OT. thanks for the eagle eye SAF

  38. manutdchampions2008 says:

javac no sorry simple has that. valencia is good but not in bests league. valencia I think should be compared with kancelskis or sharpe maybe giggs for the style.

  39. themarkedman72 says:

    ronaldo who??

  40. javac says:

Btw Wasn’t comparing Best and Valencia saying Valencia was as good, just that the style of dribbling is similar. No one will be as good as Best except maybe Ronnie, Edwards and Charlton. I do believe this generation will look badly upon Ronnie for the way he left. Valencia will be a star to a lesser degree, although he has the talent.

  41. sinani.simon says:

United can do better if at all they believe in them selves.
Nani is a very good player if at all he is given a chance to play every match in order to gain confidence. To mi i believe he can fit in Rolando’s shoes if given support and encouraged.
With the new signings,’Valencia & M Owen’ man united is wow. By sinani. Simon
