Its Zaha you know, hard to BEL19VE its not Saha !

  2. samuel - united WE stand says:

Evidence of what zaha will bring to the table. Pure flair added with ability to play in different position across the forward line, he’s got that burst of power and pace, he along with nani (hopefully signing a new deal) will give united that extra, dimension from the wide role but these two players are also technically strong enough to mix things up. Looking at zaha, he looks a player with the confidence to carry out that number 7 shirt, more so than a more experienced player who has got affected by it.

  3. wayne says:

Tony V been playing with a injury all year nothing to do with the number on his back

  4. Daniel88 says:

This news story is better than his totally unacceptable behaviour gesturing to opposing fans. Utterly astounded that people ( United Fans ) defended it.

  5. medumtum says:

Yup about time we got another winger with the ability to beat his man. Have to keep in mind though that Zaha is still a raw talent and will need time to come into his own. Of course there really is not a club in England better than United for a wide player to develop. Just hope he has a good head on his shoulders.

  6. FletchTHEMAN says:

Cracking goal from Zaha and great to see him win MOTM as well. Well done Wilf.

Valencia also had a great game and almost looks back to himself. But maybe it’s just the home cooking!

  7. samuel - united WE stand says:

Injury granted, he is not the first player that will get an injury and won’t be the last, he’s been very poor this season and looking at the players that have hogged that 7 shirt, antonio is the more humble and less flambouyant of them, i think zaha fits into that category, antonio is a good player but is cut from a different cloth. no doubt he was good whilst the limelight stayed away from him, things have certainly changed now. Needs to improve, valencia gets less flack and more excuses than most.

  8. WeAreUnited says:

look TonyV is a great asset, and no it has nothing to do with the number 7 on his back, or does it?

He’s been playing injured all season, well I doubt it, yes he had that injury that SAF also mentioned, but do you really think that SAF would keep an injured player playing so that it would affect our play? I doubt it. I really do.

This season All our wingers have been below par, to be honest Youngie was at one moment our best winger, but he started getting injured too, Giggsy maybe is at the moment our best winger, and Nani was very poor at the beginning of the season and then got injured for 2months and 15 games, but the lad is now back from the injury and on form.

Anyway, not getting at anyones back, but TonyV has been terrible compared to his last season when he was player of the year.
You ask how and why can I say this and compare, well the answer is, that some say Nani suffered the same “meltdown” at the final part of last season after being selected player of the year and still managed to grab 10 goals and 12 assists, and also at the beginning of this season he was poor and still the lad has 3 goals and 5 assists. So yes we can also list TonyV into it and compare his way of playing.

Look, we, who have always sticked and put our trust on Nani aren’t the same like those that bashed Nani after dipping form. We support TonyV also, and we will not bash him, because on form he’s one of our best players and we will give him time. Those that bash Nani, doesn’t give him time, but are ready to get rid of him. SO, now for them it’s hard to swallow the pride and admit that players do dip in form, and it unfortunately has happened to the TERMINATOR aka silent killer Valencia. There is nothing to save that. At least Nani off form gives us goals and assists.
say what you want, that’s a facht. peace.

Cracking goal from Zaha. The goal showed the kind of qualities that he is bringing to UTD next season. Can’t wait for him to start playing for us. And well done for showing the finger to those dirty, classless leeds scum.

Valencia’s 3 assist. This is our Valencia of old, tearing down the right wing without thinking and putting in a cross/cutback.

If Valencia’s season being bad is because of an injury, you have to question our medical team once again. Our injury/recovery record amongst top teams is surely ranked as one of the worst. It could be that we are really jinxed, but its certainly frustrating

  11. samuel - united WE stand says:

easy to point the hand of blame at the medical team, they are qualified at their fields and aren’t incompetent, they would notice if valencia had been carrying an injury, he may be struggling to get back into his grove after the injury which happens to several players but fact is, antonio has not evolved in terms of his game, defenders are more alert to his threat and are able to stifle him at the highest level, it is up to him to step as any top player would do but the main question is, is he technically strong enough to take his game into another level?.. Not a criticism, just an analysis in terms of him breaking off the shackles of defenders working him out, he has to improve.

  12. Marq says:

Yes of course it is not fair putting the blame on the medical team. Valencia himself needs to be answerable to his form. The moment you blame someone else, that is when everything will go downhill for you because you stop looking at where the real problem lies.

I was just coming from the angle that it is another injury or player failing to recover from an injury, we have had far too many this decade

  13. Redhot Concepts says:

Now England’s the victim inthe wake of Rio. People forget how he was snubbed by England for footballin reasons. Now they are a desperate bunch with lesser defenders. Suddenly england’s World Cup dreams hangs on the shoulders of Rio. Unbelievable. Arghh. Bloody serves them right for treating another human badly.

  14. Marq says:

Nah, they are just setting up Rio so that if they lose to Montengro, they got someone to blame already

  15. kesman says:

Antonio is one of most predictable player in terms of dribbling, so I think he should his game because every defender now knows which way he goes whenever he gets the ball

  16. Red Robin says:

Zaha – Welbeck is the future Yorke – Cole?

  17. rijah says:

Read somewhere in the newspapers this year that Sir Alex is planning to upgrade our medical section to the best any team can dream of. If those rumors are true, then it will be the best news I have heard so far for united. GGMU…

  18. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Morning Reds!

    Important READ!
The Guardian: Dyke at the FA needs to be strong against….. United? What?! !

The Guardian as anti United as ever!

  19. Pratyush says:

Regarding Valencia, this game saw the Valencia of last season. Fucking amazing pace, and nice link up. Perhaps too much pressure on him to perform? We need him to be back to his best.

He’s a solid senior player to have around; no ego, completely humble, no celeb shit. I feel that this season he has let the pressure get to him; you can see him smiling in the video.

  20. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Pratyush, Cheers mate.

Like I said. Needed a bit o home cooking is all. Fergie sign him up… Oh wait! ;)

Form is temporary but class is permanent.

  21. FletchTHEMAN says:

Yish…. morning rags still laying into Rio! Not the brightest bulb in the box whoever suggested this Doha junket. But honestly.

    For me
Less Ferdinand for England = More Rio for United!

  22. Marq says:

Lmao, stand up against United for? Shouldn’t it be the other way round? All the inconsistant bans our players have been getting. Rio for the drug test, red cards in overseas friendlies, etc

  23. Marq says:

And if they are talking about Rio not taking the call up. FIFA rules never said anything about players rejecting call ups, only clubs. If they try to push the line, can we say they are treating players like slaves since players dont get paid by national teams?

  24. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

The 7 on Tony’s back has a bit to do with it.
After last season and being handed the number 7 shirt he was expecting big things from himself and he knew the fans would be too. As he’s been carrying niggling injuries he hasn’t played his best and that plays on your mind and then as the season wears on and he’s not finding any form that 7 begins to weigh a bit on his back and becomes a hindrance rather than a help. Theres no doubt that injury is the main reason for his lacklustre season but that extra little bit of added expectation doesn’t help.

  25. TheCANTONA says:

    Fletch:
That article was silly, Stand up against United? LOL. And the ABU says United controlled the media.

  26. TheCANTONA says:

Guardian is ABU, i remember i read their match commentatory when we’re against citeh, just unbelievable so bias pro Citeh. Also Dont start with their so called financial expert, David “Bitter” Conn, the hypocrites cunt.

  27. WeAreUnited says:

The main thing about Valencia is that we want that old siletn kilelr back, that’s why we critisise him.
IF he could tear teams apart with 3 assists like in that game.

we would be happy, maybe it’s something mental. Anyway

    United we stand.

  28. RedHarry4life says:

    @ Marq.

Thanks for the link Jesus was that world class. I think we should sign the guy up for MUTV. That commenator was out of this world. Love listening to them.

On a brighter note i does look like maybe the real Tony V is ready to stand up.

Fergie did mention once as a passing comment that Tony V had a back problem. Onlyn heard that once and as i say it was just a passing comment. But looking at Tony V this season he does look like a guy playing through a injury. He rerally has not been at the races

  29. King Eric says:

Oh turn it in Daniel, you are getting boring. Zaha gave middle finger to Leeds scum, so what?

  30. JC says:

Too right KE, only way he’d make me more proud would be if he stuck that finger up to Daniel too while he’s at it.

  31. belfast red. says:

Does daniel ever say anything positive about United?? Wtf like.

  32. King Eric says:

Belfast red. In a word mate. No.

  33. Daniel88 says:

You should go and support Liverpool and Luis Suarez because players gesturing like that and other delinquent behaviour.

I hope United expect ( I certainly do ) better behaviour from United players, at United or on loan.

If you think that behaviour is acceptable you are a fucking moron.

Giving the finger, throwing pizza at opposition managers, elbowing people, yadda, yadda, yadda … is ALL unacceptable.

Manchester United players do their talking on the pitch, speak properly to the press, dress smart …. SHIT … why the FUCK I am needing to explain acting like a professional.
