When Rio is fit and playing then i think that he is more important than Vidic. Question is… when is Rio actually fit? We cannot loose Vidic.

has everyone noticed vidic and his agent have come out every time when there has been speculation and denied it. especially when the story is this intence unlike ronaldo who did not do that.

It is a major worry about the tax. Vidic issue asside, but this really favours the spanish clubs when it comes to attracting top players.

I agree with all you say, am only pointing out the facts about the tax issue (maybe a few quid out here and there).

UK are introducing the new 50% top rate next year, it is 40% at the moment.

In spain there top rate was 43%, its going down (or recently went down) to 23% (that is for top foreign talent!!! Pennant!!!).

UK had a slight edge, now a huge gap.

Where would the up coming talent from say Brazil head??

I know, I love united more then the Mrs, but the simple economic facts are going to take top talent away from uk and to spain, Benzema anyone??????

This last line tells that Vidic may just want to leave, otherwise it would read “If Barcelona do make an offer, Vidic is not interested”.
Honestly I think he’ll move on next summer. I’d agree with others though that Rio is more important to the team, and that he deserves to be paid more than Vidic – he’s been at United for 7 years now, he deserves a loyalty bonus!

why dont fifa or uefa punish radio stations or newspaper for surfacing rumours, vidic should off load his agent cause he aint going anywere for a long time,
