Vidic Going Nowhere

Nemanja Vidic’s agent Silvano Martina has dismissed rumours coming from Italy that our captain is ready to move to Juventus when he recovers from his injury.

“Vidic is still out with a cruciate ligament injury,” Silvano Martina told “A future in Italy? You have to consider that he has a non-EU passport and that would make it difficult for him to arrive in Serie A. I can assure you that I have never spoken with Juventus about Nemanja.”

Nah! He vl not leave…not a chance..

  2. Jhk says:

I just hope he is as good as he was before the injury…

I hope this hype from Juve and the Italian press is proved wrong with Vidic, and with Pogba as well. The press just seems to print any old fancy, toss it in the pot, and then see what sticks.

At least Vida isn’t bowing down to it. Hope he bounces back stronger than ever. We surely miss his mature performances.

Love the Rock. Miss him as a defender, and also as a personality on the pitch. 53rd min against shitty on the bench he was telling Chicharito “Later, you go, you score”. Chicharito nodded his head in such great respect. haha. lol, just sthing nice i saw on a bad day.

  5. Sparkz says:

Lol who saw the video from the City game of Vidic banging his head against the railing, barely flinching, and apologising.

Will be interesting to see how he is when he returns from injury, he’s never been the most mobile anyway. Wouldn’t be surprised of the Gaffer went for a Smalling-Evans partnership next season.

    Same old shit each year.

  10. SULLY says:

Fucking missed his balls of steel sorely!!! What I would’nt pay for our Vida to be back in that defence again…

  11. kc says:

Why is it always Juventus??? Fuck the Italians. Enough said.

  12. Pav1878 says:

The Serbian murderer, how we could have done with him this year.

    Wouldn’t have shipped 6 against city, 3 v Newcastle or 4 v everton that’s for

Our season would certainly have been very different had Vidic not missed so much of it. I don’t mean to criticize our younger lads like Smalling and Jones, and Evans has done very well. But Vidic is still the foundation of our defence. We are a better team with him in it, simple as.

His agent’s comment about Vidic not having an EU passport was odd. Surely, for a player of Vidic’s calibre and history, obtaining a visa to play in Italy (or anywhere else) would not be problematic? Anyway, I hope he makes a complete recovery and is back leading the ship soon.

  14. StatesideAussie says:

Who the fuck would want to play in Italy anyway? Match attendance is down (and continuing to fall), ultra violence is up (and continuing to rise), and the foul stench of corruption is once again stinking up the place. Fuck the lot of them.

  15. Marq says:

And we all thought Liverpool was living in the past. Seems like Juventus is another one. Gathered they have done well in their league, but they are not who they once were. The glamour does not seem to be there anymore. So why would Vidic want to go there? If Vidic wanted to leave, Barca or Real would take him within a heart beat. Not that he wants to leave anyway
