Vidic: I Knew Special United Would Challenge Without Me

Nemanja Vidic has claimed he always knew that Manchester United would challenge for the title, even though he got ruled out for the season back in December.

“I always believed we would challenge for the title,” he said. “It doesn’t matter who is out. Manchester United never depend on one player. If you look at the past, players have left and fans have said how are we going to cope? But the manager is the best at replacing players and the team still win titles and trophies. That is why Manchester United are so special. We didn’t expect the young players would play so many games and have such influence on the team. This is a great plus for the club. Obviously we have had some injuries over the past year, which is another difficult thing we have gone through, but we have coped and been very competitive with Manchester City. Now we are at the top of the league and have a big chance to win it.”

  10. Costas says:

Well it hasn’t been a masterpiece in terms of defensive displays this season. Especially in games Vida has missed. Fair play to Jonny Evans and Rio for holding the fort well, but hopefully we will concede fewer goals next season.

  11. Chicharitoooo says:

Oh Captain, you were supposed to be missed, a huge loss. But thank God for Evans for steadying the ship for us.

Glad to have you back in August Vida!

  12. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

Agreed, however since we’ve had a steady back 4 over the past few games we seem a lot more solid….Do you know how many goals we’ve conceded in the last 5 games?

A rolling stone………on a sandy beach. That’s Vida to me.

  15. CedarsDevil says:

2 goals conceded in the last five, not bad. That is what happens when you do not tinker a lot with the defense.

Could I have beaten Costas with a stat?

  16. MUFCJord says:

    Cedars

I’m guessing you are, he was one of the best defenders on the planet before his injury and any club would be better with him in the squad.

  17. Costas says:

    @Cedars

Well I didn’t have a chance to answer.

Yeah, it’s 2 in the last 5 games and 4 consecutive clean sheets in the league. Last time that happened? December 2008.

  18. CedarsDevil says:

    MUFCJord

Of course I was mate, there were times this season when I thought how this game would be better if we had him in it. Plus, he offers us something at set pieces at the other end.

We still have to give Evans credit though, he has done a fantastic job in his absence

  19. MUFCJord says:

Very true, If he is at his best next season I’m struggling to see how Rio/Jones/Smalling are going to displace Evans and Vida at centre back, and the latter two will struggle to keep Rafael out of the side if he stays fit.

  20. LoneStarRed says:

    Vidic = Awesome.

Top defender, although he was not in his best form this season. But what I love about Vida, is his power and fearless kernel that Evans obviously lack, just look at his nose and you know what I mean.he is a real warrior, despite all this he always install comfort and confidence to any goal keeper.Imagine Vida in his full strength with De Gea with his current form.hopefully Evans and Smalling will learn from him and Rio, thats pivotal to inherit the same quality.

Issa game over? No no no! Pizza quattro fromaggi! United will do a draw I send my scarf no?

  27. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

The silver lining of Vidic being out for so long was that Jonny Evan took his chance to impress. Being the 2nd senior defender at the age of 23/24, this was his make or break season in my opinion, had he flopped he would have become the new O’Shea/Wes Brown or a fringe player till he was sold.

However that was not the case, Jonny stepped up, learnt lessons and improved since the year started and hasn’t looked back since, he’s out shined Rio simply because he’s been fitter, less injured, quicker, sharper and has dealt often with the harder side of defence ( bringing the ball out whilst grafting).

Evans looks set be a 1st team starter when Vidic is back and I hope SAF gives him the spot he deserves. I would be personally disappointed if Rio + Vidic became the regular centre back pairing again because they had their time (2006-11) and now its time to blood in Evans.

Not saying Rio has deteriorated in ability or form, but we all know, when in transition its best to start afresh and not to loom on past glories, particularly the reason why the likes of Van Nistlerooy was moved on in order to usher in a new period of time. Rio is perfectly capable of continuing and I expect him to be our experienced cover on the bench for next season, as it will keep the pressure on Evans and Vidic to maintain standards plus he’s an excellent mentor for the likes of Chris Smalling who I expect will challenge also for a starting role when given the chances.

  28. CedarsDevil says:

Iain Dowie whom I do not really have issues with, I mean don’t like him either. On Football Today picked his team of the week, only Carrick made his 11……… Moses ahead of Valencia made me chuckle

    MG

Keep the faith, I read this morning that Villa will release Heskey this summer

  29. Doghouse says:

The great thing about United right now is that our transition has worked. I mean this was our transitional season, and we’re winning the title. Yes, we still need to look to replace the legends in our midfield, but we’re looking bloody brilliant at the back, at the front, and down the wings.

Contrast that to Chelsea, whose transition stalled as the old guard refused to bow out, or City, who have peaked and will now be lucky to keep a lot of their better players, or Liverpool, who spent top four money to get back into the title race and, let’s face it, are total shit.

I see us with two threats next season, Arsenal and possibly City. I think Arsenal have a lean but very capable squad that is developing into something potent, and I think that City can buy themselves back into the game on a whim. As it is though, we’re looking very good.

Only concern for us is a new Scholes. He’s been immense for us since coming back, better than he was in his last season I would say. He’s hungry again. But we need to either replace him with somebody similar, or adapt our play-style.

Got to say though, to return to the topic, out of all of our players who have delivered this season, one who might not get many mentions but who has done what many thought was impossible, is Jonny Evans. We could have been doomed without Vidic, but Evans. Goddamn. He’s not just been adequate. He’s stepped into the position of the best centre half in the world and he’s turned a potential crack in our defences into one of the strongest points. And it’s not like he’s a new signing, or a proven player, as a centre back he’s practically a boy and he’s had to deal with blame, abuse, doubt and all sorts from some of the fans. That he has come from that place of doubt to become a fixture in what looks like a title winning defence is almost miraculous. While what happened to Vidic was obviously very bad and I can’t wait to see him back, as silver-linings go the rise of Evans from maligned backup to hero is hard to top.

Sorry, that was all a bit off topic. Bum is still a bit squeaky, and will be til the title is mathematically won, so I tend to ramble. :P

Afternoon lads! Top day to be a red innit?!

I challenge one of you stat monkeys to compare City without Kompany v United without Vidic.
Quite confident it would be an impressive stat.

ManUnited.com released news that Jonny Evans won March player of the Month and a very cool video tribute. But more on topic, pointed out that Evans has started all but 2 EPL matches since Vidic injury.
The 2 Evans didn’t start are the two we lost. Blackburn at home and Newcastle away.

United protocol all the way. Our second string would start most anywhere else.

    Fletch
The only negative with Johnny is his part in that infamous night out. Roone got all the grief but he was out too. Not sure if he missed the newcastle game through injury or a ban as Rooney did, but if it were the latter we could have had Johnny at the back and Carrick in the middle, Rafael at right back and Valencia on the wing. Pretty sure we’d be 8 points clear now had that been the case!

    QPR – City win
    Spurs – City win
    Ful – City win
    Swansea – City loss
    Chelsea – City win
    Stoke – City draw
    Wigan – City win

  42. mikekelly12 says:

I’m the only real monkey on RoM

  43. Costas says:

I know numbers don’t usually tell the full story, but United do have a pretty good defensive record when Jonny is on the pitch. In the 35 games he’s played for us this season, we’ve conceded 23 goals while he was on the pitch. In comparison, Ferdinand’s stat reads 32 goals in 31 games.

The stat Parryheid brought up kind of makes sense when you take this into consideration.

  44. Sandeep1878 says:

    FlethTHEMAN,

sorry, Fulham game was a draw,

    here is the updated list…

QPR – City win – 2 goals conceded
Spurs – City win – 1 goal conceded
Ful – City DRAW – 2 goals conceded
Swansea – City loss – 1 goal conceded
    Chelsea – City win – 1 goal
    Stoke – City draw – 1 goal
Wigan – City win – zero

to put it in a better way,

City have conceded average 0.8 goals per game when he is playing..

and more than 1 goal per game when he is not playing..

  45. Sandeep1878 says:

    Costas,

    yup you are right,

Sandeep Sorry mate. It works fine for me. Maybe there is a country restriction for your lot???

    Here is the text: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7650379/

Sir Alex Ferguson still thinks the Manchester derby could decide the Premier League title despite the widening gap between United and City.

Ferguson’s men moved five points clear of their local rivals after Monday’s 2-0 victory over Blackburn and have now won their last seven league matches.

In contrast, City have won only one of their last four games and could be eight points behind the champions when they kick-off at Arsenal on Sunday.

It is even conceivable that the title could be wrapped up by the time the two teams meet at the Etihad Stadium on April 30.

But Ferguson told Northern Irish radio station U105.8fm: “Derby games are always important, and it could be even more important this year.

“It’s bound to have an impact on the eventual winner, albeit that we’re going into it with a nice, healthy lead.”

And Ferguson was keen to highlight the contribution of Northern Ireland international defender Jonny Evans in recent months.

    Filling the void

Evans has been asked to fill the void left by Nemanja Vidic, who suffered a serious knee injury in December, and has responded with a series of impressive displays.

“He’s been excellent,” said Ferguson. “He’s maturing, his form in the last two months with Rio Ferdinand has been absolutely fantastic and that’s really important to have a partnership at the back that’s consistent and playing all the time.”

Meanwhile, Ferguson revealed he will take his strongest available squad to Northern Ireland for the testimonial of former United goalkeeper Harry Gregg at Windsor Park on May 15.

United will face an Irish League Select XI managed by Sunderland’s Martin O’Neill and Linfield boss David Jeffrey to honour the 79-year-old Gregg, a hero of the Munich disaster.

“We’re bringing our strongest team over,” added Ferguson.

“For Manchester United to honour a player who, apart from (saving) his peers from the Munich air disaster, you’ve got to remember the career he had here. It’s absolutely apt that we send our best squad.”

  65. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Mike,
Agree, that was a strange statement from the boss. Don’t recall Mark Hughes having a terrible record against us either and QPR have taken points off top competition this year.

  66. Sandeep1878 says:

    Mike and Cedars,

you guys talking about a player who doesnt have his left leg, cant be 2 defenders, cant put in average crosses and cant score crucial goals and assists?

and also cant slot into right back when needed?

    ;)

Fletch, yeah strange one from the boss there. Got QPR, Wigan, Villa and Everton before the derby, non are formalities. Be nice to be 17 points clear by then though!!

  72. mancdub says:

We havn’t been conceding goals lately and although De Gea has pulled off a string of wonder saves in recent weeks they have mostly been shots from distance. This is down to a solid defence.
Rio and Jonny have been fantastic. Rafa shown great strength of character to come back from that Bilbao fuck up. Smalling’s been class in between injuries. Jones makes me nervous but he’s young and obviously very talented. His positional play will improve with experience. Paddy is a worry though. As much as I love the guy and I would never want to critisise him. The attacking part part of his game is beyond question. Probably the the best attacking left back around. But some of his defensive displays make me nervous especially this time of the season. Time to keep your concentration Paddy. Only 7 games left.
I must add that any back 4 would benefit from playing behind the majestic Micheal Carrick. What a season he’s having.

After-all, if it wasn’t for Tom Henning Øvrebø denying them 4 penalties against Uefalona in 2009, they would have joined us in the finals in Rome.

It would be some sort of justice if Uefalona finally got screwed after years of foul play. Against us, they behave well out of respect I suspect or because we have never got them hot under the collar, but when the going gets tough, Uefa pull out every trick in the book so Platini’s honeys go through.

Great team, however they muddy the game. Milan’s team in 1990 was better.

  107. FletchTHEMAN says:

If Chelsea had any other lad for captain, might be different. But prefer any other team in the mix over Chelsea just because of JT. JT raising CL trophy would be just not add up to a good image in my mind. Deserving or not.

  108. comeonredmen says:

Gaitan would fit right in at United if he comes. Already mastered the art of consistently hitting the first man from corners.

  109. Mikekelly12 says:

    What a miss from Ramires!!

  110. WillieRedNut says:

    comeonredmen – So true!

  111. Costas says:

    @willie

Didn’t you notice that when we played them earlier this season? So you didn’t watch the games at all then.

    Busted.

  112. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    Cedars when are you over?

  113. wayne says:

With the last 4 more than likely to be Rent boys,Barca,Real and Bayern I’ve gotta cheer on the Germans? Fuck me what a choice hate all the fuckers

  114. WillieRedNut says:

    Costas – Blind as a bat, I am! :P

  115. Costas says:

    @willie

That explains why you were fond of Joey Barton joining us.

  116. CedarsDevil says:

    Giggs12

Was suppose to fly out last month mate, had everything booked and ready but it fell apart, the lads know he details. Now looking at end of Aug mid Sep

  117. WillieRedNut says:

Costas – I didn’t want him lol. Only winding people up! ;)

  118. CedarsDevil says:

come back is on in Madrid

  119. parryheid says:

    Comeback back off Real 3-1

  120. Mikekelly12 says:

On off on off you shake it all about

  121. parryheid says:

    Four now for real.

  122. parryheid says:

    That’s what it’s all about.

  123. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    Knights of Columbus !

Ronaldo has 49 goals this year and Messi has 58 according to Wikipedia.

  124. Mikekelly12 says:

On this showing I can see Barca taking this Chelsea team to the cleaners. Pretty poor performance against 10 man benfica.

  125. parryheid says:

    Flying in now 5-2

  126. Mikekelly12 says:

    1-1!!!

  127. TonyBee says:

    BENNYFICA SCORE…..

  128. parryheid says:

Go Benfica Sicken them one more and watch the tears flow.

  129. Costas says:

This is shaping up as a Cunt-ions League. I’ll probably back Real from now on. I just hate the other 3 a lot more.

  130. TonyBee says:

Rentboys hanging on against 10 men….cunts

  131. Mikekelly12 says:

    Cunts

  132. Mikekelly12 says:

Well a proper wank performance from those clowns!! Barca will stroll the semi. I’m rooting for Bayern.

  133. CedarsDevil says:

    Mike – Where, where?

  134. CedarsDevil says:

If I had a gun to my head to make a choice would go for Bayern as well

  135. MG says:

    Get out of here

I’m supporting my team Manchester United

  136. WillieRedNut says:

Chelsea are gonna get gubbed against the drama queens! Fucking plastic waving wankstains! Benfica created good chances with 10 men.

  137. parryheid says:

Barca will be crapping themselves having to play the mighty Chelsea do you think.

  138. Costas says:

John Terry will become the youngest manager to lift the Ch.League!

  139. mancdub says:

Don’t give a fuck who wins it. As far as I’m concerned the champions league was cancelled after the group stages

  140. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

    Ha ha ha

  141. Costas says:

    @Cedars

I was just wondering where your friend iced earth was. Believe me. He’s not sachu.

  142. CedarsDevil says:

Believe me, I think they are both err I mean he is everyone’s friend! ha ha

  143. eric keane says:

Chelsea on road to perdition in the semis.
Messi might get five again. That’ll make their young manager JT cry for sure.

  144. CedarsDevil says:

Fucking hell, Mureen just ripped into UEFA, in a very indirect was….Snide bugger, funny though

  145. Costas says:

    @Cedars

What about? He wanted an easier opponent, lol?

  146. MG says:

    Goodnight United

    19

  147. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

He was asked who he thinks will win between Chelsea & Barca, his response was ‘Chelsea will not get to the final’ Reporter ‘ why?’ Mureen ‘ You know why’ lol

    Night MG

  148. Costas says:

    Goodnight MG!

    @Cedars

Haha! Can’t really disagree though. We all remember how Barcelona got past Chelsea in the semi finals of 2009.

  149. Mikekelly12 says:

Night RoM I am off to dream of number 20!

  150. CedarsDevil says:

    Night Mike

  151. CedarsDevil says:

Having SS2 feels strange, not sure where it just popped out from! Currently watching a call in show, lets see what the Brits have to say!

    Costas

That semi was ridiculous, watched it in Dubai with a renty friend, he was swearing his head off at the ref and rightly so

  152. samuel - united WE stand says:

chelsea barely scrape through tonight but i just have a feeling that because everyone keeps writing them off, could the blue cunts pull the ultimate shock against Barca?

  153. CedarsDevil says:

Nah, this Chelsea loving host Jeff is annoying the fuck out of me…

    Night all

  154. Utd4life says:

Chelsea are going to get absolutely leathered, slaughtered and battered if they play against Barcelona like the way they did against Benfica.

  155. Costas says:

    @Cedars

I actually cheered when Iniesta scored that night. I didn’t want them as our opponents for a 2nd consecutive final. But it was high way robbery and in hindsight, I would have prefered it if we played them in Rome.

    Night pal.

  156. samuel - united WE stand says:

Utd4life – 99% of the time yes Barca should slay the mercenaries fc but we all know the likes of drogba can pull out a performance. what happens in the first leg at camp nou will determine the tie but Barca are more than capable of dismantling any team on their own ground.

  157. Utd4life says:

Samuel. Chelsea players will have to play out of their skins and more if they are to have any chance of beating Barcelona. They might get a draw at Stamford Bridge but Nou Camp will be a different story. I do not see Chelsea holding Barca quiet for 180 minutes. Nope, it ain’t gonna happen.

  158. Redbilly says:

Cedars 16:36. You have a dry sense of humour :-)

  159. King Eric says:

God I love Vidic. A proper warrior and hard as fucking nails. Hope he sees his career out here. Cannot wait to see him back nailing strikers next season but its testament to Jonny Evans that nobody the last three months has said “we miss Vidic“. Nice one Jonny and love you Vida!

  160. wayne says:

Rom becoming the Waltons night MG night Mike night Cedars night John boy who’s turning the lights out

  161. Costas says:

Always leave the lights open. Makes for better sex. ;)

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2125218/Sir-Alex-Ferguson-running-patience-Paul-Pogba.html

This soap opera is like the Sneijder crap.

  162. WillieRedNut says:

    Night Wayne.

  163. King Eric says:

Samuel. Thank fuck for that mate. I was just gonna type the same thing but feared getting laughed off the blog. I have a sneaky fucking feeling with the Chavs experience they could actually do those Spanish cheating fags. Then get mullered by Real or Munich. I fancy the Germans on their home turf this season.

Were the Rent boys really chanting “are you watching Manchester“. Fuck me. How small time. Never mind the fact they are fifth and twenty points off the pace in the league. I detest the bastards. Horrible fucking fans. They won’t win the EC but we may well end up with the title. As for complacency from Fergie etc, no chance. He knows how to get the job done with seven games left and being complacent at this stage won’t happen.

Wayne. Its time Durham died. He is a fucking idiot mate. Rates Stevie Me twice the player of Scholes and expects us to cheer for Chelsea. Fuck off Adrian you clown. That’s NEVER gonna happen you little Ingerlunder

  164. WillieRedNut says:

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. No chance Chelsea will beat Barca. I do think Bayern can see off Madrid.

  165. WillieRedNut says:

Costas – Daily Mail? I wouldn’t believe anything they say mate. Anti United paper.

  166. King Eric says:

Costas. Hello mate. Hope you are well. Yes I cheered like fuck when Iniesta slotted that equaliser in at the Bridge. Thinking we would do Barca again. If only we knew! And yes mate the Pogba “story“ is also boring me now.

  167. song for tony v says:

Off topic but a possible chant for Valencia?
To the tune of auld lang sang,
    Antonio Valencia
    He’s quiet as a mouse
    He’ll terrorise your left back
And he’s built like a shit house!
Not great but it’s a start

  168. Costas says:

    @willie

Could be. But then again, why would they come out with a randomn story like this? I don’t think it’s a stretch to imagine that they still haven’t come to an agreement. Pogba’s on/off place in the squad suggest as much..

    @KE

Hi. I am good, thanks. I hope you and the family are fine too. For the first 10 minutes of that final, it looked like a repeat performance. And then Eto scored. Who knows where Barcelona would have been if they lost that final.

As for now, Bayern are the biggest obstacle for a Real/Barcelona final. Like I said, I am slightly on the virus’ side. Ronaldo deserves as many Ch.League trophies as Messi. :D

  169. RedScot says:

Anybody read the fabulous Sir Giles article on the Gaurdian ,?
    I guess not. :)

  170. WillieRedNut says:

Costas – Maybe, but I’m not convinced they would have the inside scoop on anything that goes on at United. Probably guess work on their part.

  171. Arunrajkumar says:

    @ Clint-Iamyourpapii :

Ronnie has scored 54 goals out of which 12 are Penalties
Messi has scored 57 goals out of which 8 are Penalties….

    #Fact :D

  172. FletchTHEMAN says:

    RedScott,
thing this is the one your talking about

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/apr/04/matt-busbys-miracle-olympics

  173. RedScot says:

Thanks Fletch I new what i was talking about.I post on the site, not as my normal RedScot.
More like a ka ma ka ma Chamleon, just for wind up purposes.
No boy George, more lady Ga Ga.

  174. WillieRedNut says:

Forget Gaitan, it’s Garcia we should be looking at. Played in defense, even though he’s a CM.

  175. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    Arunrakumar

Thanks for that, this is why wikipedia cannot be trusted, I knew there was something odd about that.

  176. Sandeep1878 says:

    Morning reds,

    Hello Willie,

Forget Garcia, Its Keano or Robbo whom we should be signing ;)

  182. Jeet says:

    Morning, pussy pimples

Another bright, RED day, and already looking forward to the long weekend.
@Cedars – that world class stuff I told you about is on it’s way – going to be a nice weekend!

Hmm, now who do I support in that third grade european competition? Tough one….but you know what, and I’ll probably get slated for saying this, I’ll go with Madrid. For Ronnie, for old times’ sake. Lad deserves to win more at the biggest, sorry, I meant “third grade” level :)

Can’t really support ze germans – hate that scarface, underage prostituting cunt, and the eggshell headed chelsea loving dutch bastard (nothing against the Dutch – you gave the world Cryuff, Sylvie van der Vaart and Amsterdam  ). Not to mention that midfielder who would be perfect for us, but refuses to see beyond his obstinate german sausage. Only time I supported a german team was when I was a stupid youngster and all my friedns were either supporting aregntina or brazil, and I pitched in my lot with Mathaeus, Brehme, Klinsmann and Voeller. Loved rubbing it in when they won, but got bored stiff in the process :)

    Let the madness commence!

  183. Sandeep1878 says:

    Morning Jeet,

Full-Time : Manchester United 1 – 0 Santa Clara Sporting Tigers .. Goal by Larnell Cole

Manchester United Qualify for the semi finals of the Dallas cup tournament by Maintaining an 100% record in the Group stage of the competition 3 Wins and 0 Loss

  184. Jeet says:

Morning, Sandeep – brilliant news. Love to hear of the reserves doing well. This boy Larnell Cole seems to be a bit special, is he?

  185. TonyBee says:

    Morning anal fissures……

yawn…on hols today…..still get up out of bed same time …. no lie in for me …

any-ways…. we bought any fucker yet…!!

  186. TonyBee says:

I saw the BBC showed a programme about sexism in football last night.

It was presented by Gabby Logan………. I bet she loves it up the arse.

    Sexism & football……best i could do this early….Yawn…..

  187. TonyBee says:

I was watching Gabby Logan’s Sexism In Football.. …..

It was something about women being mis-used……

Well that’s what I thought heard…. when I was staring at her tits.

  188. Phil Jones' Birdshit Streaks says:

    Jeet: Sylvieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

  189. Jeet says:

I promise to use any woman wisely – no misuse from me :)

  190. TonyBee says:

That ‘sexism in football’ show really has made me rethink some things about the game.

I’m going to stop giving that nice lass Fernando Torres such a hard time from now on.

  191. Sandeep1878 says:

    Jeet,

    He is good mate..

as you are aware he has already made coupla appearances for us..

Hoping to see the best og him, Tunni, Petrucci, there are only 2 keanos etc etc..

    TonyBee,

    as i said earlier,

you are the cross functional expert here – sex-football = sex ball or foot sex ;)

  192. MUFCJord says:

    Sandeep

Love the video of all the passes before the Ashley Young goal :)

  193. Jeet says:

My favourite take on sexism in football, courtesy studs up :)

  194. King Eric says:

Morning lads. Well this post by a bitter on the MEN site cheered me up this morning. We will be weaker next season. He didn’t know we were going for 20. He even says “Believe”. But he is NOT obsessed!!! :

“OK like others on here I feel a bit low but we need some perspective. This is the best finish to a season since 1976 whatever happens from here on in. And the best football we have played since about 1970!

12-13 Years ago we were depserately trying to get into the play offs to escape Division 3 and United won the treble. Now we are disappointed with second in the PL, more money than the rest of the world and some really oustanding youngsters bubbling under in the EDS.

Next year we will be stronger still and United will be weaker and Fergie, Giggs and Scholes nearer to their gold watches…tick tock!!! But I don’t define myself through United – never have. What they do is irrelevant to me…I didn’t even know it was 20 titles nor do I care. But it does fascinate me how peed off they get when we start challenging. Just wait till we leave them behind. Matt Busby – Frank O’Farrell history repeats itself!

    BELIEVE!!!!!! “

  195. Sandeep1878 says:

    MUFC Jord,

    Glad you enjoyed it mate..

    Jeet,

A gray Area is good, esp, “take a bow son” ;)

    King Eric,

    Morning buddy,

    funny bitters,

” some really oustanding youngsters bubbling under in the EDS.”

    oh really?

and next what? ” we have the best scouts in the world etc etc?”

    fuck ‘em all cunts..

  196. sachu says:

rafael benitez apparently wants to come back to liverpool
    great news good morning

  197. Mikekelly12 says:

    King Eric
Morning fella. I don’t define myself through United….. Then goes on about Giggs, Scholes and Sir Alex, us being left behind and Sir Matt and Frank Farrell….:. What an absolute tool!!!

  198. MUFCJord says:

Anyone else can’t wait for Sunday? The week is taking sooooo long!

  199. Redbilly says:

King Eric 7:41. The tone has changed in many bitter messages the ‘ I didn’t know they’re aiming for 20 coveys an air if indifference which we all know is false. Its human nature to change the goalposts- no pun intended- once you dream of beating the team you benchmark your own success or failure by is possibly

Again indifference is often a way of masking ones sense of BITTERNESS at defeat.

Of course city don’t give a shit about us. :-)

  200. Redbilly says:

Mikekelly- you are mistaken . He’s not a tool , a tool is useful. A fool or a stool yes.

  201. Redbilly says:

Personally. If united had been plucked out of obscurity by a mega rich owner who completely stripped away the old club and bought a brand spanking new one players included and just happened to call them united. I dint think I would brag about it. Personally, I would be a tad embarrassed.

  202. Jeet says:

What a beautiful buzz, what a beautiful buzz,
What a beautiful buzz, what a beautiful buzz.
Oh, what a beautiful buzz, what a beautiful buzz.

Gimme one drink! From that loving cup!

    Was Jagger a United fan?

  203. Mikekelly12 says:

    Redbilly
I wouldn’t support the team if that happened. Do they have any of their old identity left? Short of changing their name they are a completely new club. Even their kit and crest has changed! The tool I was thinking of was the one used for scraping shit from your shoe, so happy with that.

  204. Mikekelly12 says:

@AnnieEaves: A real odd one. Gazzetta dello Sport say Manchester United want to sign Inter Milan keeper Julio Cesar. http://t.co/LCYtBWYt

  205. gaz says:

    morning Rom!

love laughing at Apple head spaghetti munching sidal sassoon cunt Wanka bini saying we must win the remaining 7 games and then come to the derby maybe a couple of points behind or in front we can win…jesus what fucking alzheimers clinic did this spandex laced tosser crawl out of? does he not forget that we must fucking drop points for a chance of that happening? christ this cunt is more dense then the fucking tree he fell out of!!

Special mention to Theo i am still the same kick and rush fanny i was at 17 Walcrap saying the battle for 3rd is as exciting as a title race fucking lewis hamilton looking fucker is absoulutly losing his marbles!!

  206. CedarsDevil says:

    King Eric

You just made my day pal with that share, stupid bitters, so deluded you almost want to feel sorry for them…NOT

    gaz

Fucking epic as ever, always read you posts twice, they crack me up!

Morning Afternoon, Evening all…. Well I do not know where the fuck everyone is!…

Seems a certain someone is on a real buzz…..

  207. MUFCJord says:

Hmm, funny one about Julio Cesar, can’t see that being true.

  208. Jeet says:

@Cedars: Buzz, my arse…struggling to meet deadlines thanks to my United and RoM obsession. Was listening to Stones on the headphones at work (trying to keep out the usual inane workplace gaggle as I concentrate on cutting edge analysis that will change the way Apple operates, LOL), and posted that. Will be on a buzz starting tonight, and hopefully it will all culminate royally on Sunday :)

How are you doing, my friend?

  209. Redbilly says:

Mikekelly- I agree. I do not begrudge any club rising to success , fuck that’s what the game is about. That dream that your can aspire to better things. Its the manner in which it has happened at city which, in my opinion is worse than we witnessed at Chelsea .

  210. Redbilly says:

Hahaha now your talking mike. Shut scraper is just about right

  211. Redbilly says:

Shit scraper. Posting from an I phone is a pain.

  212. Sandeep1878 says:

    Cedars,

    hello my friend,

    very slow day indeed,

where is Smarty by the way?

Him and slim have been out off late…

  213. Jeet says:

Smarty disappeared around this time last year as well….probably gone to plant or harvest :)

  214. gaz says:

welcome as always Cedars sir!! roll on the the weekend when we can soften that quiffy haired cunt Joey the lip Bartons cough hate that greasy haired prick, hopeful the training academy and The Flying Bottle Frenchie Whinger and RVP can finish off shitty.

  215. Sandeep1878 says:

    Gaz,

what are you? a Jason Bourne for qualified ranting? ;)

    Jeet,

harvesting would be the best bet :)

    time to sleep..

    Laters ROM!!

    Cheers

  216. King Eric says:

Sandeep, Mike and RedBilly – Ha. I know lads. Doesn’t define himself through United yet talks about us non stop. He knows FULL well how many titles United have got. They are priceless. Keep reading how they are being persecuted . Oh fuck off. The only reason you are being spoken about is because you have spunked shit loads of money. Cunts the lot of them.

  217. King Eric says:

Jeet – Morning pal. That Jagger and Jack White collaraboration is top drawer.

  218. King Eric says:

Cedars – Morning my friend. They keep providing the comedy mate!

gaz – Quality pal. Lewis Hamilton lookalike.

  219. WillieRedNut says:

Good God, how deluded is Phil Neal? Never heard as much claptrap in all my life! Basically, he’s saying Dalglish done well to win a trophy, even though they spent 100 million on players last summer. Sounds like they’re scared to criticize him. Morning fucktards!

  220. Redbilly says:

To be fair to city fans they have no precious experience of dealing with the media highs and low’s if a title race . It must be fucking painful bring outside the boundaries if their comfort zone . Mike they would sell their souls to beat us into submission . And as for gifting us the title by giving it to us, well I can only laugh for so long . Poor counts are squirming in their empty seats.

  221. Redbilly says:

Deep down city want to be just like us – fact

  222. gaz says:

LOL! Something like that sandeep bud! gotta lotta disdain for a lotta muppet heads!

  223. Redbilly says:

King Eric – credit where it’s due . City provide an excellent example if how not to expand a club . A negative outcome can often be extremely valuable.

  224. Redbilly says:

Willie – kenny is the greatest of kopclown . Long may he reign .

  225. King Eric says:

WIllie – Hello mate. Ha ha. Phil Neal? Have you seen the state of that bumbling idiot on LFC TV? He looks pissed or smacked out of his face. What an idiot. They honestly think they will win the FA Cup. They think its in the bag. Is it fuck.

  226. CedarsDevil says:

I really hope STR corrects the time on the blog…. We are 2 hours ahead of the UK but 3 ahead of the time on the blog!

  227. CedarsDevil says:

    King Eric

Do you know that Jeff fella who hosts a phone in program on SS2, wears glasses and a Chelsea fan? He is fucking annoying as fuck… Do not know his sir name

  228. WillieRedNut says:

King Eric – No mate. For a guy who won 4 European cups, he was talking some shite! Kept saying, isn’t that right Andy lol. Maybe you’re right and he is on something!

RedBilly – KKK is the gift that keeps on giving!

  229. CedarsDevil says:

New thread up fellas, seriously this time

  230. CedarsDevil says:

    Make that 2 new threads

  231. Redbilly says:

    Willie- deserves a knighthood :-)
