THAT SHOOTOUT AND THE SAVE...... bit scott, as i mentioned earlier, united will have some mega fixture congestion next season...remember the 99 success and the FA CUP saga. we have to compete in the world club cup in december, -a month with 6 league fixtures, not to mention the CL and Carling cup. AND YET WE WANT THE FOURTH. I NEARLY LOST MY LIFE YESTERDAY. Reason? 1968. we haven't had a TV and I was two years old (we won) 1999. I stuck in traffic between Frankfurt and Rotterdam (we won) 2008. But, let's not forget that, like rust, SAF never sleeps. I am expecting some significant additions in the transfer period and, perhaps, some equally significant departures. At this moment, I would imagine that it's even-money that Paul Scholes and/or Ryan Giggs will decided that it's best to go out on top rather than being relegated to a bit-part role. RedNev, too. The money from this victory - variously estimated to be in the neighbourhood of 85 million quid - will mostly be recycled into the playing squad; that can purchase four very, very good players or three terrific new guys. Given that the team is already so strong, I would imagine that three thirty-million additioss are the more likely route - and we all know the usual suspects by now: Benzema, Dani Alves, and Danielle De Rossi.
