Its us against everyone, it always has, and its done us good so far. ABU media, they can have it all they want, only shows how desperate they need to get just to get some “moral” high ground, because on the pitch, we stand the highest.

Bottomline, I do not see how it is not a penalty. I have yet to hear anyone explain it to me clearly why it is not a penalty, even Webb did not explain why it was a mistake, he only said he thinks it is, but not why. Anyway, I dno’t care anymore, we win, and in our eyes, we have won fairly, that is good enough. The real cheats are Liverpool, Mascherano diving for the freekick, Lucas handball. Go back all the way to their CL win in 05, where Gerrard dive to get the penalty. That is how you cheat to win something.

Having insisted the refere must have been right to give the penalty, these same inadequates now state that a goal would have come for sure.
reading these comments show that some fans are so infantile that, having got that wrong, then Palacios should have been sent off for NEARLY making a foul tackle. for the infantile Scholes was booked after two kicks, A yellow before he actually touched the ball. He committed further fouls. The referee gave him some leeway but that’s what football and refereeing are about. Decisions-some correct some wrong. Please think before hitting the keyboard as there are too many biased, deluded fans bringing normal, decent fans into disrepute.

It is to be expected, but this is a load of pathetic bias whingeing.

You are Utd, you are well known for getting decisions when you need them. Spurs cannot beat Utd at Old Trafford, this has now been proven by the pen, the 10 minutes of added time to allow Tevez to equalize, and the fact that a ball 3 feet over the line is not a goal at the Theatre of Dreams.

As for Ronaldo, he cheats all the time and constantly gets away with little off the ball acts of spite and petulance. Kicking out at Modric etc, there is no wonder he is universally admired for his skill but loathed for his character.

Anyway, get over it, you won 5-2 and you will win the league. And I don’t care how many dodgy pens you get if they come against the scum tonight.

I still don’t understand why the fact that Carrick was fouled by Gomes inside the box doesn’t qualify as a “foul” and therefore a penalty. I’ve seen various video replays of that incident and while it looks like Gomes touches the ball from the ref’s view, behind the play, when you look at it again from the rear view – i.e., from behind the Tottenham goal – it doesn’t look like Gomes touched the ball but, rather, that Carrick had moved it wide and was going to use his left foot to roll it into goal.

About Palacios – hey, it was Ronaldo ! Don’t you know that GBH against him is OK ? That boy winked !! And, of course, there are precedents – Pogatetz and Stephen Taylor both tried to decapitate him and weren’t even “talked to”.

I watched this pen loads of times and it really is a 50/50 imo, not the worst fookin decision of all time as the press would have you believe. Did Redknapp go mad about the pen we didnt get int the Carling Cup final? Also on MOTD they spouted their bollocks about what a bad decision it was but when the granny stabbers come on, not a mention about a short corner they took from OUTSIDE the corner spot by a good foot which lead to a goal. we are discussing the issue for months but what do we get as a result ?
and again. can anybody explain HOW can you call the penalty decision terrible ? HOW ?
they are really desperate. i knew they hate the teams that are succesful but during the time we were winning 3 titles in England in arrow i didn’t read the english media. now it’s all very clear.

Palacios went with iontent to criple Ronaldo. That was obvious even from the planes flying over Old Trafford that evening. What makes it worse, the referee was there and saw everything.

Web may say whatever he wants, but Carrick got tripped in the penalty area before the goalie touched the ball. Who is to say that Carrick could not get to the loos ball first if he had stayed on his feet?
