Under-18 coach, Paul McGuinness, has told us to expect great things from Reece Brown, Wes’ younger brother.
The 17-year-old has a similar style of play and has been at the academy since he was a kid.
“Reece will obviously forever be saddled with the tag of being Wes Brown’s younger brother,” said McGuinness. “When people see Reece, they see a striking resemblance, both in terms of looks and style of play. He has the same sort of attributes. He’s good in the air, quick and he’s a big lad. Reece has settled in nicely. He’s been at the club since a very young age, but the start he has made to his professional career has been really good. He has concentrated right from the start, which is a feature we really wanted him to look at.”
Hopefully he won’t be saddled with Wes’ injury history as well as his looks!

ya but how shit is greece now? your ancestors might have been superior to our ancestors… but we are superior to you… ya fucking fag
Oh Jesus,he is still here?Marcos stop this superior race stuff. That kind of thinking has made us the laughing stick of Europe. Our economy is the worst Europe and our football is light years behind the British one.We can never cling to out illustrious past forever.Times change.Greece has gone from the Manchester United of the world to the Derby of the world. And yes,i consider tiny tears,Giles Oakley and wazza friends. It’s not bad to make friends over the internet. In case you haven’t missed,in the 21st century,a lot of friendships are forged over the internet.
marcos, the main sport followed in India by a huge huge margin is cricket.the quality of football in India is shite.most of us in India are awake till 3 in the morning for late night CL, cup or league matches & sacrifice our sleep, classes or job.your not a United fan but an AEK fan.go back to AEK
off topic
but just noticed that neither of the twins made an appearance in the match. does this mean they could feature against villa?
wazza- i was not talking about u specifically. I was speaking in general.
Costas – Whenever I have seen him (Wooton) he has played in central midfield. Bit of a playmaker really and an excellent shot.
And when i say friends,i don’t mean friends that i am going to tell my family crisis about.I mean my Manchester friends with whom i can share my sceptisism about UNited. At the moment i do have a job which allows me to browse pretty often. So i post a lot here.So what?
@Anon: I doubt it.Fabio will probably be in the 18 man squad.Rafa hasn’t made it unfortunately.Neither has Brown.Hopefully they will make it by Sunderland.
and yes i am 100% per cent AEK because AEK is something that carries on in my family from 1924. My family was from Constantinopole and they were Greek refuges during the Greco-Turkish war. AEK means many things for it’s fans and represents Constantinopole. I cant except from u to understand. I am not one of u and many other people that supported United from 2000 when they won the treble and for many other reasons.
keanesmagichat- u will never be superior. U will always be judjed by ur ancestors. And talking about how shit Greece is now, just look at ur country that has collapsed from the recession, huge poverty, unemployment, inflation, check the facts boy. Its not our fault that silly people have made silly decisions about our country for the past 100 years and collapsed our great nation.
@ costas, thanks for that.
i was really hoping rafael would be fit by now.
i still hope fabio plays though. two losses on the bounce i think the team is crying out for a bit of freshness on the pitch, and fabio would be just the tonic. Nani and Welbeck would be grand too!
But it has collapsed Marcos. And right now it’s in worse shape than England and possibly every other European country.
costas-if u are so obsessed with English people go change ur nationality. U dont represent greek youth and greece as a whole
Nani might be a breath of fresh air.And given Berbatov’s absence(meaning Ronnie playes behind Tev),it opens the door for Nani.I also want to see Fabio but Fergie won’t take risks at the moment.
No i don’t represent Karatzaferis’ Greece like yourself.
someone please kick this marcos chappy outta here. can’t be blocked or something.
or do the next best thing, ignore! he’s bound to tire and fuck off eventually, just don’t reply to him, it’s a darn waste of time guys!
I agree with Anon guys.Ignore.
@ costas
oh. but it will make sense if he plays fabio at left wing and nani on the right with ronnie and tev as strikers? Fergie has hinted in the past few weeks that he is not averse to the idea of Fabio as a winger…
Anon- i agree with u. Just ignore me
pios karatzaferis re arni? Dld osoi ine perifanoi gia tin xora tous ine de3ioi. Ase mas re file esi kai oi apo4eis s. Please dont anwser back gia na min s ta kla4o ta filarakia s apo to internet

Yes i know Anon. And it might be a welcomed change. But let’s not forget that when the team was winning.SAF was experimenting too much.I think in the Fulham game the team played with many new aspects(Scholes and Giggs in the center,Ronnie behind Berba) and it cost us.
CR7 is most effective on the wings.Giggs might start alongside Tevez against villa.Park & Ron on the wings.hope Fabio makes it to the bench on Sun.
hmm, you are right. anyways, berba, scholsey and rooney missing this game might be a belssing in disguise for us, maybe not in the case of rooney, but certainly berba and scholsey are better off with a rest. it’l be very interesting to see who Fergie chooses as replacements.
@wazza, that would be the first choice attacking line in Fergie’s mind i suppose.
but i really can’t help but feel worried. young’s pace might very well show up our defenses, more so considering who our right backs are going to be, jos and GN, neither capable of really keeping with the villain on full flight if they get beaten. Evans and Rio better bring their ‘A’ game to the pitch on Sat
Anon: Gary or Sheasy will both have problem dealing with a.young’s pace.hope they keep him quiet
That’s why Park must play at right wing guys.Boy we could use Wes’ fire and determination at these times.
Reece brown looks like a star already, hope he’ll be as solid on the pitch as he looks, he’s got a better pace than his brother by the way..
Watched the reserves last night good game. Macheda – watched him play for last two years – though he was good – but not half the player Rossi was – so did not really think he would make it!, Rossi didn’t with us
Now last night he looked shit hot. Took his goals really well(one was a pen) and I mean really well. Newcastle had that centreback that used to play for Lyon and he brushed him aside taking the 1st goal so well. And Matty James looked good in midfield two wonderful long balls for Macheda’s goals.
Petrucci is better IMO from what i have seen of them, but after last night Macheda has gone up in my book.
Marcos21,
Get a life you wanker.
IMO ?
@ wazza
IMO- in my opinion
if thats wat ur doubt was.
can’t wait to see these guys play for the first team! Petrucci, Macheda and Ljajic sound like world beaters of the near future!
