    8 points UP!!!!!

  18. Costas says:

It’s not over until it’s mathematically over. Watched the last 20 minutes. What a heartless, dickless, brainless and gutless performance by City. Is this how much they want it?

As for Balotelli’s red, well, call me crazy but I am quite certain this ban will cover up the incident in thr 1st half and he won’t get punished for it. Just watch.

Cracking goal by Arteta. I know our legend scored today a similar goal, but a few of our other lads should take note.

  19. KS says:

What a sweet, sweet, title victory this will be. One of the sweeter ones in the last 10 years. Maybe just the one throwing Chelsea of their short-term perch compares.

    Woot, woot! :)

  20. Lebomanc says:

What a game that was…. Loved the Poznan from the arsenal supporters!!
The players played really well, and I predicted arsenal to win and balotelli to get red!

    wayne, me too.

  22. Zemmamma777 says:

Balotelli: The Jester of Manchester…. :P

  23. Dela says:

I know you always have to be vigilant in this kind of position, but losing 3 games?? I just can’t see that happening with 6 to go, I just can’t see it!

You know its setup so that we can win the league at the Etihad, right????

  24. Kings says:

One hand on the trophy. Fuck off City. You can always rely on balotelli to fuck things up – fucking cunt should have been sent off earlier for his vile challenge on song. Horrible bastard. Good day. Roll on Wednesday and let’s hope for the 3 points at Wigan.

  25. SULLY says:

Only one team in Manchester… The other lot are just individuals!

  32. redbilly says:

    zemmamma- hahahahaha

  33. Hans says:

I have always believed that we will go to Wastelands as Champions!!!!!! This title will sure be the best after Ferguson’s first one!

  34. Costas says:

    @Dela

Depends. If they draw one more game and we win our remaining 3, it’s set up that we will get a guard of honour at the Etihad. :D

  35. RedScot says:

Ha Ha @ Mancini , his downfall is Balloteli , no discpline, as wild a card as you can get , pure joker.
Gary Neville on Balloteli “when I got to the circus ,I expect to see clowns, Balloteli is ” .Pissed myself laughing, right on the point as normal.

jesus christ mankini is almost crying maybe last interview

  51. Balaji Sivaraman says:

WTF??? The party moved here and I was still there.

In hindsight, Sir Alex would consider City and Mancini the easiest of his scalps. I mean when you look at his other opponents, with the exception of Keegan and Benitez, City are the easiest scalp for him. I personally didn’t imagine it would be so easy in the end. Looks like King Eric was right from the beginning. City really are Shitty as it turns out.

What a brilliant article in January: http://www.lifesapitch.co.uk/laptv/podcast/is-this-the-beginning-of-the-end-for-man-utd/

Plus, Bluemoon now requires registration to view the forums.

  52. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Truely small time – They quit as soon we went a point clear at the top. Where’s the fucking Poznan now?

What’s funny is….if they sell Mario & Tevez and keep the same squad and manager and learn lessons they will challenge us further in the league next season, because that experience of defeat as a team is key to rebuilding for another shot at the league.

Being small time, they will sack Mancini
Keep Mario Telli-tubbie and persuade Tevez to stay with another bagful of money + Gold.
Buy more loonys that are disruptive and fuck up even more. They’ll probably even drive the likes of Kompany,Toure,Silva,Aguero away to clubs like Milan,PSG,Munich,Barca + Madrid.

    Good times ahead !
    8)

Mancini is a top twat, that Tevez move pulled off !

  53. gazzer says:

Can we post the arteta goal? It’s one of my highlights of the season

  54. Utd4life says:

The reason I believe it is over is because City don’t have the bottle to come back. They look very mediocre and pedestrian without Silva and Yaya Toure. Imagine how fucking pathetic they would be if Kompany was also out. City is done. Call me over confident and brash but I am all set for the guard of honor at Emptihad stadium.

  55. redpete says:

LET’S ALL DO THE POZNAN… LET’S ALL DO THE POZNAN…. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  56. Lebomanc says:

    Redpete
    Hahahahahah
I was actually doing the Poznan at home with my bro when we saw the arsenal fans doing it!!

  57. Lee Martins Winner says:

My big fear about this collapse is Jose mourhino, if they sack mankini, they may go for him. City under the special one, will be a different animal

  58. wayne says:

sachu pleased to see you use your own name mate instead of all that other bollocks

@Costas why Bobby Manc played him today is beyond me,deserves all he gets,Maureen gave up on Balotelli at Inter,Bobby Manc trying to be the hero,he understood and could work with Balotelli.Bobby Manc should be fired just for signing him, paid 24mill fuck me

  59. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Roberto Mancini is a TWAT. End Of. What a fucking dick. I know Balotelli is a dick and all and I personally feel he should be institutionalized and shouldn’t be anywhere near civilization. BUT if you put a player on the pitch, it is YOUR fucking responsibility to defend him. In Mario’s case, you know how he is going to behave. IF you put him on the pitch and he behaves as expected, you have to support him because YOU have put him on the pitch. What a fucking dick who has no balls. He just lets him hang to dry. That, right there, is poor management and shows why Mancini isn’t cut out for the big boys. You hate Wenger with “I did not zee it!” comments but at least he defends his players, which as a manager is your duty.

Or maybe he’s trying to tell the owners just how much of a TWAT Mario is by letting him play and letting him hang out to dry and trying to convince Mansour to let the fucker go. Who knows?

  60. united.george says:

….and when you’re 5 ahead and now 8 behind, you’ve lost control again!
….and when you cant control the dressing room, you’ve lost control!

you’ve lost control again, you’ve lost control!!!!

  61. Sandeep1878 says:

    1 Hand on the trophy..

    Kings,

good to see you post again mate..

    20…20 is coming home

  62. Andrew Garira says:

Mancini must go because he predicts what is going to happen. helpless coach

  63. Marq says:

You can almost feel for Mancini after watching the interview.

As a player, when your manager says on national tv that he has spent 2 years correcting you, and you simply does not appreaciate it. And now the manager says the FA should punish him, says alot about this player doesn’t it?

  64. Sandeep1878 says:

Gary Neville on Balotelli:”Balotelli reminds me of a
circus. & whenever I go to the circus, I always see a
few clowns. And he’s one of them

  65. sachu says:

mario balotelli is A MILLION CRAIG BELLAMYS PUT TOGETHER

  66. sachu says:

how much did they spent on him 25 -30 cant remember
money WELL SPENT glad we didnt get him
next season i am betting on him hitting one of his teammates yaya toure probably

  67. denton davey says:

Why always me ? Mario, don’t let the door hit you on the way out. And take “BobbyMancs” with you.

    Another 34 years ?

  68. NigerianRed says:

Its truly amazing how City have given up so easily.

Now lets all laugh at Shitty, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!

  69. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

Yes, we haven’t won the title yet, it’s close, but the only reason I can’t resist mocking is cos its shitty. And no, we won’t be complacent.

I feel guilty I pumped my fist harder when Arteta score as compared to when Scholesy scored. Dammit.

  70. Sandeep1878 says:

    Number game…

8th straight win, 8 pts ahead , No. 8 the scorer with 8 mins left to play on 8th of April.

  71. denton davey says:

Lee Martin’s Winner @ 17:30: “My big fear about this collapse is Jose mourhino, if they sack mankini, they may go for him. City under the special one, will be a different animal”

ANOTHER 500,000,000 – and that would just be Jo$e’s compensation.

  72. Lee Martins Winner says:

Mario is a disgrace and a comedy genius all in one. I love watching him press the self distruct button over and over…….

I cant wait for the release of the amazing playstation 3 game, “mario and mankini fuck it up”

  73. wayne says:

As someone who detests rent boys it is so fucking sweet to see them fold like a cheap suit, none of them give a fuck about City and have no heart.Only player who battled hard today was Kompany, all these cunts sold their dignity for a paycheck.Thats what 440 mill pounds gets you lads fuck all

  74. Sandeep1878 says:

    Denton,

    hello pal,

    you make a good point…

Sir Alex – The never resting master mind

United – The never stopping Football machine..

United – United – Top of the league!!

  75. redbilly says:

marq- mancini like other managers can see the potential balo has and believed he could helpl him focus it. sadly, hes ended up enabling his behaviour by not being firm enough and, in the process no doubt lost the respect of some members of the squad.

Anyway fuck em, they would love to see us in the same position. Glad arse poached it at the end, wenger must have been watching some of the old united games :-)

  76. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

We go on with our jobs well done all the way till the end, and for the north london clubs to take the 3rd and 4th place, there there. That would settle my season nicely.

  77. Sandeep1878 says:

ROY KEANE – “IF I was Manchester City manager, I’d ship out Mario Balotelli this summer — but Roberto Mancini might not be around long enough to do it”

  78. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    Robbie Wankini ;

” In the last month we have had problems with injuries but we need to improve more. For 28 or 29 games we did well but there are 18 points to play for. Never say never.”

    - Shit Please, If you had Kompany, Yaya out for 12 months, Nasri + Silva in and out of the team and Pantillimon in goal for 50% of the season, then you would have sympathy but no you had Tevez in Golf Island, Dzeko on Bench, Mario in Disneyland and Silva up in the clouds as the silver lining for the past 2 months. What about Johnson who was fit for the whole season? You Toure,Lesscott and Savic replacing a short term injury to Kompany and Yaya Toure was only away for 3 weeks and you played him straight afterwards. Fucking bottlers.

    - 28,29? The league is won after 38, you clown, it doesn’t matter how you did then !

    - “Never say never” Fucking wavy haired clown missing a red nose, he ends with a Justin Bieber Quote? What a Clown, your no way near United 8 points behind and more when the season ends.

  79. eric keane says:

    @sandeep : great stat mate
if city draw one more game , they’ll be giving united a guard of honor at emptyhad

  80. redbilly says:

    sully 17:12 well said

  81. Kings says:

Sandeep1878 – Hello my friend. Hope you are well. Desperation takes two forms, it can have a positive impact or a negative one. Unfortunately for city we can see both sides. Scholes has contributed to our amazing run and judas cunt Tevez has done fuck all, coupled with nut job cunts ability to self destruct. Well done Vieira for your ill timed comments you fucking tunnel bottling cunt. Wish Keane smashed his skull in the tunnel that night. I always enjoy seeing your stats my friend. Nice work I must say.

  82. redbilly says:

    wayne 17:15 thats nasty :-)

  83. #07 says:

    What a Happy Easter!

  84. redbilly says:

sandeep- it that right , one more draw for GOH?

  85. AntiScouser says:

David Silva is the reason they had done so well. When he went down, City went down with him.

  86. TonyBee says:

have just heard on radio that Balotelli has been sparked out in the changing room by a fellow player… bout time that idiot as taught a lesson

  87. jeet says:

Sacked in the morning, he’s getting sacked in the morning! O blessed day, bleSs scholes and bless fergie and bless rednev. And bless sickuntobelly too and bless scarfini and bless droopyweenyyviera, and bless arteta and david moyes. Ohh goddamnit give a french poodle a bone and bless the famous blue raincoat of monsieur learse too. Its a red red day, and no the wife was nice to me this weekend. Nightynight and godbless you all friends!

  88. denton davey says:

There are lies, damned lies, and statistics so what does NOT ONE SHOT ON GOAL in a crucial match mean ?

  89. redbilly says:

heard a rumour mario is considering a move to motor sports. His recent crash was actually a training run. Hes an accomplished demolition derby driver

  90. Sandeep1878 says:

    Eric Keane – cheers pal.

    Kings,

I m doing good mate, thanks..hope the same with you..

Have to say, it all started from Vieira..bless that cunt ;) ..

The frustration on the face of Mankini ever after that Arteta goal was priceless..

They dont know what hit them – Its Sir Alex and the mighty reds!!!

  91. TonyBee says:

Kings calling it true…. couldn’t put it better meself

  92. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

if the title’s decided by then, will there be a guard of honour as wastelands? doubt so.

  93. redbilly says:

5 match ban for mario?. maybe he wants to avoid the guard of honour

  94. mara says:

But only thing we have to do…is to destroy them for the end.
I dont understand one thing. Mancini has such a great strikers on the bench, and he always put Balloteli wich even birds on the tree, knows he is gonna f.. up. I can imagine why Dzeko wants to go, he feels like crap, when he see how this guy is behave, and Macini dont care. I cant imagine that any player, in any big club, is behave like Balloteli and that he dont have consequences.

  95. TonyBee says:

THIS NEEDED RE-POSTING …BEST FUCKING PISSTAKE EVER

    Well done Denton old lad….

  96. Marq says:

Next thing you know Balotelli will come out and say he is actually a United fan, and he did all that just to screw City’s title bid, lol

  97. redbilly says:

scorp 17:24 bluemoon has been closed down. the servers are overloaded with millions of scornful blues, its a massive club you see.

  98. Sandeep1878 says:

    5th straight clean sheet..

Well done De Gea, Evra, Evans, Rio, Rafel, Jonesy, Smalling, Fabio..

for much of the season we have criticized our defense..

its time we appreciate them when its deserving..

a tight knit United defense is A PURE SIGN OF TITLE WINNING TEAM…

Massive 450 minutes gone past our last conceded goal at Spurs, Defoe..

    Get in says Gary Neville…

    UNITED

  99. lordrt says:

I would say its not yet over, else the lads will stop giving in 100% in the remaining games. Hopefully we’ll lift the title at wastelands, just to add some salt to their injuries :)

  100. eric keane says:

fergie must be a tad disappointed. he must have set up the team for a tough tough finish to the season, but city’s challenge is ending with a whimper, all fergie has to do is wait and watch mankini push the self destruct button again and again!!

  101. Take me to Old Trafford says:

as someone has already said on this blop. Balo-terrible!

  102. Sandeep1878 says:

    Jeet,

Sacked in the morning, he’s getting sacked in the morning!

    Lovely :)

  103. redbilly says:

tonybee when did you hear that?

  104. Lee Martins Winner says:

bluemoon is now registration only…………….thats like a geeky kid only letting people who dont pick on him join his gang.

  105. Denise Williams says:

To me Mancinin has asked for this. When I heard Jose Mourino kicked Balotelli out and said he was unmanageable Mancini should have realised what he was like. I have been digusted with Balotelli’s antics this season but today he was an absolute disgrace. From the first whistle he was trying desparately to get himself sent off that it was merely a matter of time. However that should not cloud over referee Martin Atkinson letting him get away with a leg breaker tackle. Balotelli should not play again this season as he fully deserves a six match ban and Atkinson should be severely ceonsored for his performance. Of course are we really surprised by Atkinson favouring the sugar daddy clubs remember him helping Chelski?

  106. Sandeep1878 says:

    Redbilly,,

    I dint get you mate?

    Lordrt,

    how are you buddy?

Thanks for the mention in the other thread regarding scouse crest ;)

  107. Sandeep1878 says:

    On a lighter note,

Who said Wenger doesn’t deliver trophies? ;)

  108. redbilly says:

balaji 17:25 the reason you now have to register to view the bloomoon blogs is to increase the figures on the membership base. A massive club.

  109. keano99 says:

Lads I don’t want to piss on our corn flakes but we have not won anything yet were nearly there but lets not get ahead of ourselfs we not playing great but were getting 3 points each game, but wigan and everton won’t be easy. But its great watching them cunts self destruct. Red army great day for us all.

  110. Sandeep1878 says:

down by 8 points in december and lead by 8 points in april….!!!!
    dats wat we are,

the clear difference between the xmas champions and real champions..

    UNITED

  111. TonyBee says:

coming home from Motherbee’s and heard it on in the car radio ….some one said there was rumour that Balotelli had been laid out in the changing room after the match….

  112. redbilly says:

sandeep- mario getting chinned in the dressing room.

  113. redbilly says:

sandeep- mario getting chinned in the dressing room.

  114. MG says:

Where the fuck is that bastard saviour of city Tevez?

Where the fuck is that other twat Hargreaves who said city would look after me more than United

    Fuck off

    19

Let’s bring that title home where it belongs

  115. Sandeep1878 says:

    Redbilly,

    Lol…may be ;)

Hope him, Mankini, yaya fucking toure, Kolarov, Dzeko and the cunt start WWE in the dressing room ;)

    fuck them all..

Time to focus on Wigan, who feel massively let down by the way Chelsea won against them, an offside goal and an injury time winner..

    lets get it going..

few seasons back, It was carrick whop scored the 2nd goal that gave us cushion and a lead in the race?

    that left boot strike…

  116. OOH2B a Gooner says:

Old time Gooner here. I have no love for you lot over the years & I’m sure vice versa from you.

But I’ve always wanted you to win the title as the one thing any real fans all share is a total contempt that mickey mouse teams like citeh & the other chavs should never win fuck all. I find myself defending you when fans say look how much you’ve spent over the years.

Big difference is..You spend YOUR own generated income.

I can hear Sheikh-Mansour singing to Mancini that well know muslim song ” Youre getting stoned in the morning ” !

  117. CedarsDevil says:

The bitters are keeping Hargreaves ready for the run in, Tevez will make the difference in the final match of the season. Mancini will finally get it right with Balotelli during the summer.

What a pathetic excuse of a football club, silly cunts the lot of them including their stupid excuse of fans. Wank Bikini looked a real cunt on the touch line all game and even more so during the post match…

Brilliant by the Arse fans doing the Poznan

  118. denton davey says:

    Tony Bee @ 18:04: Cheers, m8.

What a great day for the RED “half” of M/C.

Admittedly, TheLads weren’t really very good today but they played ABOVE the level of the competition.

The season isn’t quite over yet – but the fat lady has finished gargling, for sure. What’s been most amazing has been the impact the GingerNinja has had.

Paul Scholes might be one year older than last year – and two years older than the year before that – but he’s played much, much better; AND Michael Carrick has partnered him much, much better, too. Not too shabby for a 36 year-old asthmatic.

  119. Lee Martins Winner says:

What pleases me most is that thier team has been bought to win the league THIS year. We are in “transition” and will only get better….

Its a good day to be a RED,

“we got 99 problems, but a mario aint one”

cittee were outplayed by arsenal, outclassed, outfought and outwitted. Too many shite players – step forward Milner and Barry – and too many players playing for money not cittee and not Manchester.

At United every player wants to play for United, the fans and Manchester. Step forward the whole team and especially the prince, Scholes. Another brilliant performance ‘cos he’s class and United through and through. No car crashes, no setting fire to his house, no daft teeshirts, no interviews, no shagging a rooney ex. Just a football genius who wants only to play for United.

Number 20 on its way – hopefully. L’shite off their fucking perch.

I keep my mouth zipped until I see Vieira next comment on man city decline, him who pretends to know much prediction on both Manchester teams. Yes mr Vieira, at your place I wouldn’t made such comments presumably because behavior wise, there is no much difference between Baloteli and yourself (reference: check your bad records as a player at arsenal).
So far, your controversial comments seem good for selling newspapers but lack consistency. So next time you’ll measure yourself to Fergie and his clan, please take a nice cold shower and brush your smelling mouth.
Be good in the future and be real.

    I love United!

  123. denton davey says:

    Excellent points from Ian Holloway:

“I have a strong feeling that Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini will end up regretting bringing Carlos Tevez back. Mancini was doing great, he had made a stand and told Tevez he wouldn’t play for the club again.

He was praised by the media, it won him the respect of his squad, and everything was going swimmingly. Then he announces Tevez has apologised, and he, as manager,is prepared to let him play again.

I can understand why he did it. Tevez is a world-class player and Mancini wants to make history at Eastlands by winning the Premier League, so the more quality playershe has available the better.

That’s the theory. But in reality, something very different has happened. Football is all about the group, and bringing Tevez back has upset the dynamic.

Take Mario Balotelli. His antics last week against Sunderland were condemned, but I bet my bottom dollar the reason for all that arguing on the pitch was because he doesn’t want Tevez there.

Balotelli had started to focus and was becoming the player Mancini wanted him to be. But Balotelli is the kind of person who wants to be the big fish even in a big pool, and with Tevez back he no longer feels like that.

On top of that, I think Balotelli feels slighted that a player who didn’t care a jot about his team-mates during a difficult stage of the seasonhas been forgiven and allowed back into the fold.

Players aren’t machines. They have feelings and emotions, and in a sport like football – where togetherness is so important – they will turn against someone who they think has gone against them. Some players at City will forgive Tevez and be OK about his return, but others won’t.

As an outsider looking in, it seems to have split the dressing room, and the spirit that City had a month or so ago has gone AWOL.

Compare that to the neighbours down the road and the difference is glaringly obvious. They don’t allow petulance at Old Trafford and they certainly wouldn’t let a player with a bad attitude back into the fold.

The manager sets the tone at a club and everyone at Old Trafford is scared stiff of Sir Alex Ferguson. You do what he says and because he never drops his standards, the players don’t either. Ferguson wouldn’t change his mind about something. Mancini has, and that gives off the wrong signals.

If you make a stance, you have to be committed to that stance. That hasn’t happened at City and it could cost them the title.”

  166. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Let us not forget, Arsenal are Scum. Today cheering those softies is fine but tomorrow no.

Them softies are the biggest bottlers since Newcastle. They freeze from Aug-Feb and play well when out of 4 competitions and have no pressure to deal with.
Their manager is a incompetent tool, he has no idea how to tactically approach a game and is a failure for the last 7 years turning 8 soon. He can’t adapt to a change in the wind.
He took on SAF and failed. He is a voyeur as Jose said, always has a opinion to share on City finances, United’s irresistibility, Chelsea’s spending during 2003-2006 , never looks at his own poor club. We’ve beaten his sorry Arse on so many occasions that I can’t even recall.

He’s just finance manager trapped in football related job. Fuck Pat Rice :P

I despise Arsenal, Liverpool,Shitty, Chelshit, Leeds & Millwall. Newcastle have grown on me while Blackburn irritate me.

  167. CedarsDevil says:

  172. Smartpatrol47 says:

Everyone should calm down until it is actually in the bag. Things look good, but lets not celebrate just yet. Bitters might be better off without Balotelli and title pressure-although there are clear signs of them falling apart in humiliating fashion. Anyone for Arsenal finishing second?

  173. CedarsDevil says:

  174. Redbilly says:

Giggs12- I’m understand high expectations but it saddens me how quickly people go into negative overdrive. I have respect for the few who come on and admit they stand corrected. It’s the ethos of the club not always winning that’s inspiring.

I hope the bitters over on bluemoon are getting a tast of it right now

  175. Eric Cantona Told Me To Tweet says:

Reading articles in major news site such as Telegraph, Guardian etc, reading tweets from the so called experts, listening to people podcasts.. I really don’t give a damn about what they think anymore.

These people forgot that a few seasons ago, we lost the league to Chelsea after mistakes by the officials. Where were they when we were denied points? No one screamed to FIFA for the injustice we suffered. They only care when we are benefited from it.

So QPR, I’m not sorry for the injustice. You have a season long to make sure you stay away from the relegation zone. But you fail. You came to Old Trafford looking for a draw, you just never learnt from Blackburn did you?

  176. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    Redbilly

Exactly mate sometimes people need to chill and not act on emotion. The season is Aug to May, we are the best team around for knowing what it takes.

My Bertie mates are already texting me saying if united have won it by the derby or we could win it that day then they are not going. Season ticket holders not going if that’s the case, fucking brilliant.

  177. samuel - united WE stand says:

8 Points it may be but still not getting carried away. United have to continue piling on the pressure by playing their optimum against every opponent just to crush any attempts of resurgence from city.

i think city are now going through what we go through which is teams playing their maximum against united. At the start of the season, teams were Shitting themselves when they faced the blue cunts but that’s not the case anymore.

I wonder if balotelli will get his ban increased with that horrible tackle?

Mancini said he needs another lavish budget but i’m hoping Fergie’s mission to build another quality team would be on the way and counter against that.

united are off to wigan next, i think that’s gonna be difficult but we’ll have to step up the gear, block any sense of complacency and drive home the advantage.

  178. fergie is the boss says:

I said united could have the title rapped up before the shitty game we are close but still we are not there yet, it was a huge 2 to 3 weeks in the title race, the pile up of difficult fixtures for shitty would have a huge effect on where the table would lie today, the swansea defeat was the huge turning point. If shitty got through this brutal fixture list they may have had a chance, but they failed the test and go behind 8 pts in the title race, that is a fact

Now the reality – United now up until the shitty game have maybe slightly more difficult games, they are winnable but let us not get to full of ourselves just yet. There is work to be done, in wigan A everton and villa at H. I do believe if we pick up 9 pts in the next 3 games we have one hand on the title, but let us get one thing straight, one game at a time. We are not playing great, and not bursting the net. The positives that came from today is? we gained 4 pts today, a slightly better GD, and shittly losing.

Its been a fantastic day for the club, but one game at a time, one game at a time. I will not feel comfortable yet until we win the next 3 games.

  179. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Fuck off Samuel I know your saying that but I know you mate and I know your fucking buzzing haha

Like you say though hatched eggs and chickens, were not city we don’t get Tattoos of transfer rumours and we don’t celebrate until we are champions.

I hope so mate for clev, ando, Pogba, and Jones to watch Carrick and Scholes is a proper education.

Was discussing with king Eric earlier the importance of Carrick and how well he and Scholes play together. 2008 they did the same plus add to that Hargreaves. Clev I feel is very similar to Hargo and really hope Scholes does another year.

Just some stats abour our current run:

    - 79 points after 32 league games is a Premier League record for us.
    - If we win or draw on Wednesday, we will reach last season’s points tally with 5 games to spare. Another Premier League record for us.
    - 8 wins in a row and 5 consecutive clean sheets in the league. Last time we achieved both runs was 08-09.
    - Paul Scholes has scored as many league goals as Torres, having played 14 games less.

  219. Meastro says:

Anyone who has watched the premier league over the years will realise that Man utd get a much greater ratio of favourable decisions than any other team-especially towards the buisness end of the season. That’s why I always say that to win the league, it’s no good being as good as united, you have to be significantly better because they get such a high-rate of favourable decisions. Look at the last few months:
-the two soft penalties against Chelsea (especially the Welbeck one where he forces his leg onto Ivanovic’s leg to stimulate contact).
    – the disallowed adebayor goal against Spurs (probably the right decision, but would it have been disallowed if the goal was scored by united at old trafford)
-the clear foul by Evra on a West Brom player in the penalty area at old trafford (if West Brom would have scored the penalty, the score would have been 1-1 and they would have had a foothold in the game.
-the clear penalty that wasn’t awarded for Carrick’s trip on Danny Murphy at old trafford.
All of these were game-changing decisions and all of them went in United’s favour
It’s as bad as last season: Rooney’s elbow aqainst Wigan (no punishment), the vidic hand-ball against Arsenal which was a clear red card offence (both the linesman and referee ignored it), the penalty against Spurs at old trafford when they were 2-0 down (the replay showed that Gomez made contact with the ball before the man utd player), the dodgy penalty against Blackburn that helped them secure the league……. I could go on.
    But why does it happen?
Well, we’re faced with the grim truth that Fergie has the majority of officials firmly under his thumb. Faced with the prospect of giving a game-changing decision against united, referees contiually opt for the quiet life and don’t give the decision because they know they will have their character assainated in the post-match press conference (when ever united lose a big game against a domestic rival see how Ferguson tears into the refs and officials) And it certainly works.
Also you have to factor in how spinless the Professional Games Match Officials Limited (PGMOL)are. This is the body that selects the referees for the approriate fixtures. Take Martin Atkinson. He referred United’s 2-1 Premier League defeat at Chelsea last March. In the post-match press conference, ferguson had this to say about Atkinson: ‘I don’t know why he’s got the game. I must say that when I saw who was refereeing it, I feared the worst’ Watching the game, I though Atkinson’s performance was perfectly proficient. He certainly didn’t favour any team. But what do the PGMOL do? They don’t give Atkinson a man utd game to referee for over eleven months. So the subliminal message tney are sending out to all the referees who officiate in the premier league is: if you give pivotal decisons against Man utd and upset Alex Ferguson, you wont be chosen to referee their games. Unbelieveable. This creates a climate of institutionalised assistance and leniency that United continue to profit from

  220. Denton Davey says:

Wayne @ 19:57 – although we don’t agree about Dimmy (remember him?), I am in complete agreement about the low-level rumors concerning ManShitty/Mourinho. I doubt very much that he’d sully himself to that dysfunctional outfit, with no history.

My own guess is that SAF will retire at the end of this season – I doubt that he wants a repeat of the debacle of 2001 when he announced his coming-retirement and then back-tracked as he felt he was losing control of the dressing-room – and that a successor has already been signed. Of course, I have no evidence or this – it is a “guess”.

Who would be the “successor ?” – my “guess” would be Jo$e Mourinho. My second- “guess” would be Ole-Gunnar Skolsjaer who did a great job with the UTD reserves and won the trophy in Norway at his first managerial position.

Giggs12 @ 21:35 – I disagree about our comparison of YoungTom and Owen Hargreaves. They’re very different players – Cleverley doesn’t have the defensive quality or the physicality of Hargreaves – Darren Fletcherinho has that skill-set and, for what it’s worth, getting someone similar is the number-one target for adding to this squad

  221. philco says:

    Denton Davy,
I agree 100% about maureen. He sees himself as the next boss at Utd. He’s done the first title in years bit with Chelski and proven himself at inter and the virus. He fancies himself to take on SAF’s mantle. It’s what his ego reckons anyway.
We will just have to wait and see what happens.

  222. WillieRedNut says:

The titles fucking over. Simple as that. No way United will throw away an 8 point lead. City have completely gone. They’re in turmoil. We possess everything they don’t. Hunger, heart, balls and one of the greatest managers to ever live and breath. He’s pulled the team from the brink of despair, when we lost 6 1 against this shite in October. The players responded to the bosses words with style. We didn’t make excuses after derby day humiliation. We went about our business, like United do and have done throughout Fergie’s tenure. City might have played great football for a while, but they’re not a great side. Not a great club either. Manchester United are a great club. We’ve produced great teams. This team is in it’s infancy. Only gonna get better. We suffered in Europe this season. Ah well, we’ll be back next year with a bang. Winning this title isn’t just stopping city. We’re putting another nail in the coffin of Liverpool FC(RIP) That means more to me, than beating city to the premiership. Don’t forget, United were a long way back when Fergie came to manage our great club. When we officially seal our 20th league championship, we’ll be 2 clear of LFC. Could you ever of imagined that back in 1986? Well lads, it’s so close to being reality. Love United, love SAF. I bow to you Sir Alex Ferguson. Genius. 19/20

  228. MG says:

    Willie

You outdid yourself you’re just supposed to do the one liners!

I had to come back and say that, but I would like to do one last thing before I go again.

I would like to dedicate what happened yesterday to Nasser Hejazi

I would also ask anyone to read up on the link below – especially the letters that went between SAF and the man himself before he died last year.

More than anything, it shows you that no matter what our Gaffer never forgets anyone, never forgets to pay his respects, never forgets to bring those back that maybe once were forgotten.

United is a family, let’s bring this title home for all that are here and all those that have left us.

And in honour of Willie, although we still have a while to go:

    19/20

    Goodnight Manchester United

  229. King Eric says:

Who gives a fuck if Mourinho rocks up at the bitters. He is bottling la liga himself with Madrid and by the time the el classico is over a ten point lead will be one point. Madrid are over rated. Cunts like Di Maria and Pepe make me sick.

Anyway enough of those facist cunts. The league is over. Call me arrogant but its true. Some clown on the Des Kelly show said it isn’t as United could throw it away like they did when Leeds won it. Err different animal now you mug. Citys heads have gone. Not one fucking shot today. They don’t give a fuck now. The towel has been thrown in. I am fucking sick and tired of bastards saying City have thrown it away and are United worthy champions. Course we fucking are. Most goals scored. Most clean sheets. Most away wins. Beat most of top six home and away. A run of twelve wins and one draw since Newcastle defeat. Show some respect and credit where its due you abu scum. Best thing about the aforementioned Des Kelly show was , and this is true, Mike Summerbee was meant to be a guest but couldn’t face going on. Ha ha ha. The comedy show rolls on.

Had to laugh at the non pen at OT. Could just imagine the abu choking on the Sunday dinners in outrage.

As I say not being arrogant but we have one hand on trophy. We need to lose three of six. We have lost three in thirty two games. Aint gonna happen.

    UNITED.

  230. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

    Willie

You deserve a High 5, a pat on the back, forehead to forehead hug, a rub on the back and a pat on the bum for that post. ;)

    @Denton Davey -

You really think or guess SAF would just drop a bombshell and leave like that in the future? That would be heart-breaking ! When SAF retires, I’m guessing it will be at the peak of this squad powers so when he hands it over to the next guy, the club will be well prepared. I’m hoping when the boss does bow out its after tying up the premier league and possibly a successful or near successful European Campaign…during the season like the last game or before an FA Cup final or something so we the fans can give him the greatest of farewells.

It would be awful if it was out of the blue, some want Ole, some want Giggs etc to replace him. But I reckon United have only lined up two candidates.
One is a superstar signing with a cabinet of trophies and demands a big Wallet & the other is the disciplined, tight budget manager that has overachieved also with a great record of producing youth players and working with players.

    Jose Mourinho & David Moyes

I will say no more on this, I’ll get screamed at for suggesting Moyes.

  231. WillieRedNut says:

Cheers lads. Off to bed. What a big day for United fans. This team of ours have produced the goods at the right time. United! 19/20

  232. King Eric says:

Willie. Spot on pal. Its fucking over. All these saying “we haven’t won it yet“ are justifiably keeping a lid on it. United won’t choke at this stage and City were running in treacle the second half. They are fucked.

Denton. I will have a sportsmens bet Fergie won’t be retiring this summer. He wants another shot at Europe with this young team. He said as long as his health holds up he is looking at three years. He wants to see this new side develop.

  233. King Eric says:

but the why the fuck he dint mention that Rio tackle at OT against Magpies which went the other way around..

    fucking ABU..

    then he said,

: Manchester United are a stronger team, well, at least by the points table:

fucking cunt, you dont need to see the points table to see who have been the best this season and who have been the best season in the past 2 decades,

  253. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    Good Morning ROM!

    BEST MONDAY EVAR!

A few points of note in this thread:

Sir Alex going to retire. Come on Denton. I know you’re always going to make statements far out of the left field like that but this is taking it a bit too far, don’t you think? Like Hell. Last year he was faced with two challenges. He’s blown one out of the water. His soul will not rest in peace until he has blown the other one out of the park also. He was already setting up for it at the start of the season and he’ll continue his master plan this summer also.

Another thing people are forgetting is that Sir Alex will never retire as long as he can stay on the touchline and shake his booty. Sir Alex is Football and vice versa. It’s all he has known and it’s all he’s ever known. He tried to go away once and we all know how it turned out. He’ll probably end up like Jock Stein and give his life on the touchlines of a United game. *shudders*

If the last two weeks have proven anything it is that the fire is still burning strongly in his eyes. This was evidence by the bollocking he gave Welbeck and the team in general in the Rovers game and the annoyed look he bore yesterday because of our inability to finish QPR off. In fact, I would say that it is burning stronger than ever.

And he covets that third European Trophy more than anything else and as much as he did his first in 99. He knows Pool fans and the general footballing world will always cast a shadow over his achievements and say he isn’t as good as Paisley if he doesn’t get that third trophy.

All that adds up to Sir Alex’s reign continuing for the foreseeable of future.

It’s a horrid thing to say, but secretly, I have half suspected that such is the Great Man’s destiny.

I can”t see him calling it a day when the fire – both physically and mentally, is still in him. I feared the worst when I saw him sitting absolutely still clenching and unclenching his fists on the touchline during the CL final, but as you say, the last few weeks show that he still has that fire in his belly.

  259. Costas says:

Fergis won’t retire until he turns Bebe into the world class player he knows he can become.

  260. Jeet says:

at least put a smilie at the back of such comments, goddamn you Costas! :)

  261. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Jeet, Yeah, I shuddered at the mere thought but it is probably his destiny as you said. Either ways, no retirement for now is what I genuinely feel. MG wants him to crack the Barcelona Protocol. :D

  263. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    Sandeep, Morning my friend!

Yeah, I was already feeling a bit better yesterday and the results only made me a lot better actually as our dear friend MG promised on Saturday.

Who’s gonna suffer Monday blues after a Sunday like that?

Balaji. Absolutely spot on mate. Infact it was fantastic seeing him bollock Danny. It shows like you say that the fire is still burning. He aint going anywhere yet. Absolute Legend. As we have said all season. Its a marathon not a sprint. Just popped on the MEN site and they are quite happy they beat us 6 1. Ha. Much like the dippers 4 1 in 08 09 season. Meant very little.

  266. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Morning reds:
Here is some FletchTM maths for your morning pleasure:

The title is ours if we win any of our next 4,
We could also win only 3 and draw 3.

Even if City win all 6 they only get to 89 points so we only need 11 points from 6 games to beat that.
If they lose one they only make 86 or draw they only make 87.
In which case , we only need to take 8 or 9 points.

I am starting the think City away could be a rather enjoyable trip….. 8)

  267. King Eric says:

Fuck off Paul Jiggins you cunt. Reading the papers on sky and giving United credit BUT “they have benefitted from loads of dubious officials decisions“. What two? How about the non Newcastle pen? And what about the bitters. Balotelli stamp on Parker. Leg breaker on Song? Barry at Stoke? Dzekos dive the other week. Jealous bitter cunts. They make me sick. Most of them writing us off all season yet now start arse licking. Fuck off.

Off topic. But is Bubba Watsons real name actually Bubba? What sort of fucking name is that?

    Good times are here…

  273. Jeet says:

    @Fletch: Thanks, mate.

Here’s how I see it – assume city win all 6, i.e.18 points.

Means of course that they beat us as well. From the other 5 games, we then need to get 11 points, i.e. 3 wins and 2 draws.

If from the next 6 games we can’t produce 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss, then we don’t deserve to win the title.

But, not to tempt fate, how many really believe a team managed by Sir Alex Ferguson will screw up like that in the last 6 games of the season? And the derby and the chance of revenge for the day that never happened looms large – that will be a huge motivator for all the lads to be fired up as well.

SAYING MANGER HAS BEEN THE DIFFERENCE IN THE LAST 2 SEASONS
AND ALSO IF SIR ALEX WAS AT CITY THEY WILL WIN THE LEAGUE BY 20 POINTS.

sick and tired of people saying city have the best squad. if kompany gets injured like vida did city wont be in the top four with savic,
we have a fucking great squad yes everyone knows we need 1 maybe 2 players in midfield
but we have been decimated by injuries.anderson cleverley and fletcher.so onlny giggs carrick and scholes have been there .
hope the manager signs midfielders in the summer and we will have better luck with injuries next term .

  275. King Eric says:

Fletch. Cheers mate. Thanks fuck its not Bubba. Seems a decent lad.

Jeet. Not a chance United will choke now. Ifact I would go as far as to say City could even drop points at home to Brom and away at Norwich. They know deep down its over.

  276. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

The reasons why citeh might well lose the league by a number in double figures is because of their manager. Blame poor player performance, nutjobs like Balotelli and dissenters like Tevez but he lacks the authority over his players and was unable to deflate their huge egos and get them playing as a solid focussed unit that had a common goal and a one for all all for one type attitude. That’s what we have. That’s why we win.

Those that signed for citeh for huge wages thought that it was all in the bag. After the FA cup last year they thought the rest would just fall into place and that major trophies were inevitable. Even a few of us might have believed it for a fleeting moment or two 6 months ago but there’s nothing like the old dog for the hard road. There’s nothing like a manager who has been there and done that so many times, a manager that takes nothing for granted and that knows how to manage every player both individually and as a group.

This year we’ve been down but never out. We’ve pulled ourself off the canvas regrouped and put winning runs together. We did it both times after we lost at home because we had a manager who could manage the situation. Citeh in the face of adversity splintered both on and off the pitch because they didn’t have a manager who knew what to do, who had the experience to stop the rot and put them back on track. His inability to deal with these situations was sensed by the players who needing reassurance and some confidence instilled found somene who didn’t know what to do
so the players decided to take matters into their own hands. The lunatics took over the asylum and a season that promised so much disintegrated.

  277. byron1970 says:

That fucking clown on sky sports news (Mike Wedderburn, I know he’s a City fan) just asked an ex City player if United are getting all the luck at the moment. Sure City should have played most of yesterday’s game with ten men. And on top of the penalty they got away with against Stoke they’ve had as much luck as we’ve had at the moment. Luck only matters if you take advantage of it you idiot. See this is the type of rubbish we have to put up with. United get a dodgy decision and the whole world cries conspiracy. As I said in a previous post, I’m tired trying to defend it, all the rest need to believe such things to make some sense of it all and you’d have more success teaching your dog to say 20 league titles, so I don’t even bother anymore.

Fuck them all, come on United. I’m still not counting my chickens yet though, we’ve got a tough game on Wednesday, so we just need to keep the head down and bag three points against a good Wigan side. I’ve seen them play many times this season and I find it hard to believe they’re second from bottom. That McCarthy lad they have is an excelllent player, watch his composure on the ball the next night.

  278. Corea says:

Forget all the Europa CL and Europa League. It’s 20 in the making!
Next season it should be different in Europe i guess ?
    Hope so.

  279. CedarsDevil says:

    Morning all

Was having a chat with a fellow United supporting friend yesterday about the season as a whole so far…. Every season has one or more defining moments, one that stands out for me so far is the match at the Bridge (A few others of course) we were dead and out at 3 nil down and the bitters must have thought that’s it, United are finished, yet we got back to 3 all and if we had 2 more minutes we would have won it. That result had two affects, a) It gave the team the belief and b) It made the bitters think twice about us never going away….

The bitters have been finished since their defeat at Swansea, they fluked a home draw to Sunderland and yesterday were simply awful. There is no team spirit whatsoever, like Mike said earlier in this thread they play for the cheque. I am also with King Eric on the fact that they will barely get a draw at home to West Brom

  280. CedarsDevil says:

    Meastro

Not Benitez in disguise are you with all them ‘facts’ ? Deluded bitter cunt

  281. byron1970 says:

CedarsDevil – Yes the Chelsea draw was massive and I think it was Johnny Evans that said that if De Gea hadn’t pulled off that simply amazing save in the dying moments from Mata, it would have killed them.

For me however, the victory away to Arsenal was our most important result of the season. I can remember feeling really deflated after City had snatched a late victory against Spurs and I think the way we turned up at the Emirates and still took 3 pts was the stuff of Champions. Look in contrast at how City managed the exact same fixture when we were just after managing a somewhat controversial home victory. Those two Arsenal games speak volumes about the character of the two sides. City were a shambles yesterday.

  282. Jeet says:

@Cedars: Exactly, that was the day the line was marked in the sand and the words “we will not be moved” written in large fonts. Last year, I believe it was WestHam.

How are you doing my friend?

  283. CedarsDevil says:

    byron1970

I agree mate, the win at the Emirates was massive, as I said there have been quite a few this season, Blackburn last week isn’t far off that scale either and like you say its the stuff of champions. We turned up when it mattered the most yet those noisy bitter neighbors just bottled it and showed their true colors.

Speaking of that failure De Gea, he did pull up through quite a few times did he not?

  284. Costas says:

    @Sandeep

Hi mate. Just one for now. I will be in cigar mode once 20 is secured. ;)

  285. Costas says:

Arsenal have a habit of helping us out in the title run in don’t they? The draw against Chelsea in 06-07, the 4-4 draw at Anfield in 08-09 and now this.

  286. CedarsDevil says:

    Jeet

Yes I believe last season the game at West Ham was very defining having been 2 nil down at one stage and then of course ‘What? Fucking What?’

Doing very well my friend thanks

  287. knightsmith says:

    Meastro:

May i suggest that you change your alarm call on your clock from a bell to a recording of a largish lady clearing her throat?

Your comments are not even worth a response, all I will say, is that it’s not United’s fault city have bottled it !

  288. byron1970 says:

Yes De Gea has been a massive player for us in the run in. I actually find myself worrying now that he might get injured. I have to hold my hands up and admit that I am on record as saying that he should be dropped and taken out of the limelight until the pre-season. Feel a bit bad about that now, I never said he should be sold like some fans, but equally if feels good to think we have solved our goalkeeping equation for potentially the next 15 years.

  289. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    Cedars and Byron

That Chelsea match was the game. I remember some idiots came on here saying the title was all over when we were 3-0 down and all that shit. The lads on ROM gave those shitheads a bollocking after we drew. The nerve of some of these people to post shit like that when we are still playing the match infuriated me. That was a great comeback and all and the psychological advantage gained from such a huge comeback was more than what would’ve been lost had we lost that match. After all it is only a point difference between a draw and a loss.

However, Norwich Away. Norwich Away. Norwich Away. That Giggs goal was probably the most important goal this season.

  290. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

Could you imagine the scenario if the bitters were playing at Klanfield yesterday?

    byron1970

Big of you mate to come out and hold your hands up re De Gea, many others should learn from you, especially those who were always after Carrick and Evans

  291. TonyBee says:

Morning Cedars….. on this fine 8 point clear day…………

  292. knightsmith says:

    byron1970:

I agree with you comments about De Gea and also admit that I was one of the ones that was calling for his head.

I also feel bad, all I can do is admit I was wrong and apologise to the lad, he has been tremendous and I have completely changed my opinion ( it’s called doing a Mancinci) !

  293. Costas says:

    @Cedars

Don’t have to imagine it mate. It happened 2 years ago when they opened their legs for Chelsea. And we saw how much fight they put up at the Etihad earlier this year.

  294. CedarsDevil says:

    TonyBee

Morning my friend, it felt like 6 but now I checked its actually 8

  295. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

I believe ‘that’ pass by Stevie Me got assist of the season did it not?

  296. Ryan7MUFC says:

As someone further up said, last season it was about home form, this season is about away form and now next season should be about our form in Europe

  297. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

Norwich away is certainly another one, as I said there are quite a few….. Guess we will have a long summer of wonderful debates on the matter…

Speaking of negative cunts, anyone seen KR?

  298. Costas says:

    @Cedars

Indeed it was. And I remember plenty of cheering for Chelsea’s 2nd goal. No chance that was just from the Chelsea fans. And lets not forget the “Gary Neville or Chelsea” banner in the stadium that day.

  299. byron1970 says:

My biggest regret about Johnny Evans is that I didn’t start my Johnny Evans fan club when I was telling everyone that would listen that he was going to be a top top defender. I think he’ll be even better next season as he cements a partnership with Vidic. This is not a slight on Rio who has been magnificent but taking his injury situation into account a long term pairing of Vidic and Evans is more likely. By the same token anyone who’s taken the bother to remember (probably not), I’ve been on here on many occassions professing my undying love for Rafael and I’m delighted to see him slowly but surely make the right back slot his own. Mistakes like the one he made late on against Bilbao is down to nothing but experience. Equally he almost got out yesterday but was bailed out by a wonderful tackle from Evans but these are things that can be learned from and ruled out in the future. Rafael has got absolutely everything to be a great full back. The future for our defence is bright.

  300. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    Knightsmith

Mate we have all called players shite at one time for another look at Evans, Young, Nani, Wellbeck. All have divided opinions but they key is if a player proves us wrong we are happy to hold our hands up.

I was very critical of Young saying I didn’t believe he was united quality but happy to eat humble pie.

I have thought wellbeck and Evans case for a while where as I believe Nani is in the top five wide men in the world on his day.

I also said with Da Gea he just needed time to settle.

  301. Dazbomber says:

    What a lovelyorrning.
There was a girl from Stockport her name was hazel grove. She started supporting city when she was 4 years old. She been to nearly every match she’s only missed a few. She’s neverseen
them win the league. And now she’s 42.

  302. CedarsDevil says:

    Giggs12

The key words in your post mate are that people should man up and admit they were wrong. Sadly though not everybody does that, some are just too cowardly and would disappear off the radar completely rather than admit they were wrong.

  303. James7t7 says:

@Giggs12 – Well said… totally agree… as fans we have a right to an opinion as long as its justified and its not just picking a scapegoat. There are a lot of Utd fans that are spoilt by the success that Fergie has brought that they always have to find a person to blame should we not win a match or win it convincingly. Players are still human that have their off days.. and get affected by the media, etc.

Those fans should go back to the 70s and 80s maybe that way they’ll appreciate what they have as a team now.

  304. Dazbomber says:

Agents Tevez, Hargeaves and Balotelli your mission is almost complete….

  305. CedarsDevil says:

    Dazbomber

Question is, what do we do with those agents after this? Off to Siberia for exile?

  306. Jeet says:

@Dazbomber: You forgot agent Vieira :)

Nope….thats just a City Flask…..damn it where is the Bottle?

Poor old Tevez, gotta have sympathy for the boy, he’s been mistreated by both Manchester Clubs. He dragged them to the top 4 and if they won the league he would have deservedly received a £9 million bonus, but the lad has been robbed by Manchester United once again.

Its a travesty, a footballing injustice. He has such a fantastic record this season.
    8 Appearances, 0 Goals.

  315. MG says:

    Watson

King Eric great rant earlier. Sick to fucking death of hearing ‘ city threw. Title away ‘ or ‘ gave us the title’

1 . They are not champions therefore it was not there’s to lose

    2. United took the lead from them through perseverance and teamwork and working through several dodgy decisions this season

    3. Manager rules here!. Teves affair et al. Guvked them up.

    5. As champs we deserve to enjoy the current manc blue meltdown.

    6. Red half of Manchester happy? Fuck 75% at least

After yesterdays game and a few beers, I found myself outside in the darkness of night. I sat smoking and sipping on my beer. Looking up into the dark cloudless sky my eyes were drawn to a circle shaped object. It seemed a light blue in colour.

Unsure as to what this strange object was, I called my friend at the university of life. He filled me in on what i was looking at:

    - its called a Bluemoon
    - It can be seen shinning brightly from aug – dec, but during the first 5 months of the calender year it starts t fade. This is known as the “bottling” phase

I thanked my friend and put the phone down. I turned to the wife who was playing Mario karts on the wii and said

    Babe, I fucking hate CITEH!

  323. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Fuck mancini and the berties they have not thrown the title away we have done this on our own.

We have not lost since the first week of Jan that is title winning form.

Wr have been fucking brilliant and I want STR to post a selection a thread of the best negative posts about Fergie, Rooney, and how good city are.

20 sounds great are you watching Merseyside

  324. redindian says:

First came liverpool.. 18 titles.. Everyone said they were the greatest.. We saw their 18 and raised it to 20… Then came Arsenal.. Everyone said they were unbeatable… We still came on top… Then came Chelsea.. Bankrolled by the Russian mob n managed by the Special One.. Had a good run but at the end we saw them off too… Then came City.. Fuelled by Oil money, they said they had the best squad ever in the league history… But they fizzled out at the end… And we are still on top…

Gentlemen.. The best team in the history of football is and will remain Manchester United..

    End of story.

  325. Mikekelly12 says:

    Morning all.
Some funny posts this morning making me chuckle. Got very drunk last night and I have a sore throat from the singing at both OT and the local boozer! The whole pub did the Poznan when Arteta scored it was funny as fuck! Strange thing is the pub is supposed to be a straight split 50/50 red and blue but I didn’t see any blue cunts in there. I remember the place being rammed with reds, win, lose or draw, seems the blue half only come out when they’re winning! Shit houses!
I’ll hold my hands up, I’ve called Evans, Carrick, Rafael, De Gea, Rooney, Wellbeck, Nani, Rio, Evra, Park shit house cunts in the past, but they deserved it!!

  326. fergie is the boss says:

Costas and King Eric – when I hear the title been thrown away, lets have a good look at shittys squad,
    Gk
    Hart Pantilimon Nielsen

    defence
Boyata, Bridge lKolarov,Kompany, Clichy , Lescott, Savic, Richards, Toure Zabaleta

    midfield
barry, toure, de jong, hargreaves, silva, nasri, milner, M johnsen, A johnsen

    attack
    aguero dzeko, tevez, bolleteli

Now we look through that squad, who would get into the united squad, let alone the team. I say silva and aguero. This myth shitty have a far better squad player for player, we look at that squad its not a great squad. And I would not have any of their CM players

  327. Mikekelly12 says:

”Ring ring! Greater Manchester Police how can i help?”
”I’d like to cancel my complaint please.”
    ”What was the complaint regarding?”

  328. WillieRedNut says:

Oh Balo, you’re a wild one. Sent off again, you’re a dumb one. 8points clear, having a beer….

  329. Ash says:

    Maestro

Haha, I can bet when you writing that post you were crying. All the people who wants to know the meaning of hatred should take a look at your stupid post.
I know I am a fool to reply to you but I will. As a Law student I like to debate so thats why I will Prove all your points worthless.

    1) You say United get all the decison at the business period of season.

Really dude. Do you remember when we were screwed for the tittle two seasons ago by Your fav Ref Ankinston? I know you won’t as you hate our success. I won’t waste my time in mentioning other decisions that were given against Us.

    2) Yeah Rooney should have got red card for the elbow but so what How many times Steven Cunt Gerrard has elbowed a player and recieved fuck all. Yeah Why would you mention that.

Rooney was given a 3 match ban for SWEARING in the business end of the season. Like expected you never mention that idiot. But we never complained like you guys. We fought and won the tittle.

    3) Yeah Sir alex criticized That cunt Ankinston which he deserved . You know Sir Alex got banned for that. Again you didn’t mention that.

Lastly you say Fergie has control of choosing his refs. Do you remember Arsene wenger said he never wanted Graham Poll to referee for his team again. Do you remember that boy? I bet you won’t as you were busy building your hatred for Man United.

So Sorry to say but all your points are so weak that It makes you look like a Nerd.

  330. Ash says:

You know what I would prefer If other Clubs fans come and simply say that we hate Manchester United rather than giving excuses for their failure and for our Success.

  331. Marq says:

Nobody bothers to reply Meastro, and rightly so, haha

The fact is, if City had won all their games, like we did, it wouldn’t have mattered if we are awarded 10 penalties each game. So who is to blame? Us? Referees? Or yourselves?

If you want to improve, look at yourself, rather than spend time analysising others

  332. ClaytonBlackmoresTan says:

Mikekelly- bang on- the environmental health has no need to listen to the golden silence eminating from Stockport anymore.

Remember when it was warm in August? Wembley draped in an apricot coloured sunshine and United were, despite playing superbly- somehow trailing to the mercenaries 2-0….
We kept going, we played the way we know how, didn’t get flustered, first Chrissy Smalls pulled one back, then we scored an unbelievable equaliser, then in the final minute, Tefal-head Kompany shat his chips as Nani robbed him, rounded the wannabe Ken-doll and we emerged victorious to win it for all that’s right and good in football.

What a glorious sun-drenched blueprint for the season.

Twenty, see you at home soon you fucking beauty.

    Premonition, eh? Bloody hell.

  333. Mikekelly12 says:

I think only 5 goals in 10 away games since early November has more to do with city’s collapse than refereeing decisions!

  334. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

Have to salute you mate for a blockbuster post last night. That was epic

  335. Dazbomber says:

After the United match my son went to his farthering laws who is a bitter blue to watch the City match. When bolleteli was sent off he ran out of the house shouting its a conspiracy it’s a conspiracy my son could not stop laughing . It’s so funny watching the fans and the team fall apart

  336. Redbilly says:

King Eric – city were running in treacle second half. They are fucked. Fuck that made me laugh.

  337. Jeet says:

Where’s BobbyCharlie1968? Time for one of his rants :)

  338. Costas says:

City’s plight reminds me of how we lost the title exactly 20 years ago against Leeds. We started that season red hot but then our inexperience came into play, we overcompensated and lost it at Easter. Lets just hope City don’t learn their lesson like we did ours that year.

  339. wayne says:

I’m tired of selective criticizm, the Ref system is broke and in almost every game bad decisions are given. This could easily be solved by having a 4th ref in a video booth with direct contact to the ref on the pitch,it would increase correct decisions by a large amount, untill this is done.Abu’s need to bring to light every bad decision in all games not just a select few that will sell papers
I’m going to defend Young everyone calling it a dive i clearly saw a hand and a push and didn’t see any arguement from the lad who got sent off. It’s ok all these cunts sat in a ivory tower saying minimal contact and dive but it doesn’t take much if a player is slightly off balance to send him flying

  340. Balaji Sivaraman says:

I generally don’t think titles can be decided based on refereeing decisions alone. It is won over 38 games and over that period the team that wins the title even if they are not named Manchester United are worthy winners. Simple as that. When we lost the title a couple of years ago, I said that the best team won the League that season. Chelsea had been a great side all season long and I won’t lie in saying I didn’t feel any bitterness because of those Atkinson decisions, but they weren’t the “ONLY” reason we lost that year. The notion that referees are bought and sold is one that I don’t generally agree with.

Regarding poor refereeing Decisions, it is a necessary evil in the game. Let’s face it, referees are human beings and they will always make mistakes. It is the quality of the mistake that counts. Personally, I cannot ever forgive a call like the Drogba offside or the Fletcher foul that wasn’t because those are elementary, or even the offside yesterday for that matter. Calls like the Carrick penalty or the penalty yesterday after the offside are OK because those are basic human errors. Close handballs or shouts are something I don’t get worked up over because I can sympathize with the referees. I don’t expect everybody to think like that but that’s how I feel.

  341. King Eric says:

Red billy. Cheers mate. Keep fucking hearing it pal. Its doing my nut in. Give us credit where its due you jealous cunts.

Cedars. Hello my friend. I too was wondering where KR was. Oh and Mark.

Mike. Hey up pal. Will be there Sunday. The reason the pub you talk of was devoid of bitters is because they were at church.

Wedderburn was getting worse as the morning went on. Fucking priceless.

Fitb. Spot on pal. Their squad is hyped up beyond belief. Even silva goes missing after four months. The rest like Barry, fat cunt Toure, Milner, kolarov, dzeko lescott are journeymen at best and I wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire. United’s squad is miles better both in quality and mentality.

As for Evans. Always loved him.

  342. Vilhelm28 says:

Nice goal by our kids. 1-0 up against Ajax. Half time soon.

  343. Jeet says:

King Eric, FITB: Though I disagree about toure and kompany (both are very good players in my opinion, and would probably get in our squad), I have to agree with the overall assertion that the shitty squad is nowhere close to what it’s made out to be. The reason silva and toure look fucked is because theyhave been ground to the earth by tactically-and-sartorially-superior-scarfini. But then, look at Evra, and look at Carrick and look at Rooney- played a ridiculous amount of games, and noweher close to losing steam.

  344. Vilhelm28 says:

Another quick strike and 2-0 up.

  345. JT says:

    Aegon Future Cup

2-0 up Sam Byrne… Rothwell with the first. Benjamin Pearson sittingnicely in the middle of the park, dictating play. Looks promising.

    Live on Eurosport..

  346. wayne says:

Yesterday some of the lads said Balotelli got decked in the City dressing room anyone confirm that i can’t find fuck all on it.
Just coming back to the ref in a video booth, the main arguement is it would slow the game down personally i think it would be much quicker than a ref stopping play having to shoo players away who are gathering and then go talk to the linesman.
Don’t really understand that if a wrong call has been given how often does it get overturned by having that discussion 1 or 2% of the time, seems that’s more for show than anything constructive.

  347. CedarsDevil says:

    Jeet

That was fucking hilarious, MASSIVE………..I know its a bit old, but you can never have enough laughs at them

  348. theboogeyman says:

Ash- Law student? In India? Where? lol

King Eric- Hello mate. Were you the one who kept saying we’d have it wrapped by May? I kept telling everyone that this wasn’t gonna be so hard and we’d win it before May, but they kept saying I ought to take off my red tinted specs. You could always tell it was just gonna be one thing that went wrong that would fuck up those bitter blue bastards’ chances.

Cedars – Thanks mate. I try my best! ;)

I’d take Vincent in a heartbeat. He’d be great Kompany for Evans. Looking long term, a like for like replacement for Vidic. If it wasn’t for him yesterday, a cricket score would’ve ensued. Silva and Aguero the only other ones I’d fancy at United. Fergie would know when to rest these players. They’re running on empty for weeks now.

  353. wayne says:

Cedars thanks mate if it was true would’ve thought it would have been leaked by now

  354. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Talking to a Scouse friend of mine. First, he congratulated me, big of him. Then, I said the problem for Pool is Dalglish and this is what he said.

“Downing was the player of the year for astonvilla, adam for blackpool….Henderson is a bit young (Phil jones cost 15 M ) and even fergie considered buying him…. Enique is doing well..
Coates is a good centre back….
So it all leaves only to Carrol – 35 M flop..
but he was a last minute panic buy…got when Bilbao refused to sellL lorente..
But i thought he will come good as he was in exceptional form for Newcastle in the beginning….i thought we bought some one like Drogba and was happy for that….
The wrong thing he did was sending Aquilani on loan and selling Meireles to chelsea….both are actually better than Charlie adam in open play…”

That last part, I actually agree with. I feel they would’ve done better with Aquilani and Meireles but Dalglish made sure that didn’t happen.

He is actually a pretty sweet and soft guy, so I don’t take huge arguments with him like I do with other scouse pals. But the level of indoctrination with Liverpool and Dalglish just baffles me sometimes. How can these people not see that their fuckfaced manager is leading them to ruins?

  355. CedarsDevil says:

    wayne

I suppose you’re right, what made me laugh yesterday (among many things) half time at the Emirates, Balotelli getting treatment on the ground and all his team mates just walk by to the dressing room, so sympathy whatsoever!

    theboogeyman

Hi pal, been well thanks, well great actually! UNITED

  356. wayne says:

I’d take Kompany in a second,Silva has proven to be important to City only knock he’s disappeared when it’s mattered don’t know if that’s because he’s tired or clubs have figured out how to play him.
Always thought that was a issue in Spain his ability to mantain consistency

  357. Vilhelm28 says:

    Unlucky goalie there. 2-1

  358. Costas says:

    @wayne

City denied any talks of a bust up, but I do find it interesting that he got injured at half time and every single one of his team mates walked past him without asking how he was.

He and Tevez ruined that locker room. Can’t believe I’ll say this, but they would have been better off with Bellamy.

  359. Elliott says:

Lets finish off the job in style!

  360. Giggsy's Chest says:

Over 80% of the season without Nemanja Vidic, the best defender in the world, and been decimated with injuries all over the pitch, and we’ve all but won the league against a club that’s spent £500 million in 3 years. Great effort from our lads and Sir Alex with yet another example of why he’s the greatest manager of all time.

City’s squad is hyped beyond belief. They’ve got some unreal talent in Silva and Aguero, but the likes of Yaya and Nasri just aren’t what they’re made out to be. They’ve relied on Silva all season and he’s inevitably tired, as has Aguero, but if any United fans don’t rate them pair then they’re fucking brainless. We should’ve got Silva after Ronaldo left when he said he wanted United.

Anyway, City will spend infinite more amounts on players again this summer and I’d be shocked if they didn’t pose an even bigger threat next season. All I want for United is Tunnicliffe to be in the first team squad and a truly world class central midfielder, we shouldn’t have to rely on a retired Scholes. Pogba’s gone. In an ideal world Fletch wouldn’t be ill and Ravel would be in the team already instead of being a thick twat.

In terms of Glazernomics this summer. Berb is 90k off the wage bill. Hopefully Owen is let go, that’s another 30k off. Park and Anderson are pointless nowadays so that could be at least another 120k off the wages. Promote Tunners, Will Keane and Pogba if he stays to the first team squad.. Trust in youth and set up nicely for when Financial Fair Play comes in.

As long as Sir Alex is at the helm we’ll always be the pinnacle.

  361. wayne says:

Cedars everyone just tired of his act,the finish to the season is setting up nice sub plots for the summer.
Rvp does he stay or go,KKK’s fate and question marks over his signings will Carrol be sold.Think it’s unlikely Balotelli will stay but City paid 24mill for him so what other club would take a chance,a loan deal seems the most likely.

  362. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Costas, As bad as Bellamy’s attitude is, on the pitch, he’s a fighter and he plays his heart out. That is one aspect I’ve always appreciated in him. I would say the same goes for Barton also. These players know the value of playing football. Balotelli and Tevez are prima-donnas who think everything will happen around them when they are on the pitch. Both are prime targets for institutionalization IMO.

  363. Vilhelm28 says:

All square again 2-2. Ajax dominated the last 10-15 mins.

  364. Costas says:

    @Balaji

Same here mate. My best friend supports the scouse and we got to talking yesterday about what went wrong. Surprise surprise, he completely backed Dogleash. “The team has been unlucky because we’ve missed many penalties and we’ve hit the bar many times”, “the Suarez ban was a setback”, “we were unlucky not to beat City and United at home”.

He actually makes a good point in the end, but the rest is just petty excuses that no other manager (not even their beloved FSW) was backed with. What do they expect from KKK really? His football mind is ancient, he pisses away 80+ million on mediocre players and he will eventually bottle it and fuck off.

Oh but wait. he got them back to Europe!

  365. WillieRedNut says:

boogeyman – Fine pal. Hope you’re ok? Why wouldn’t you be, though! United 8 clear of the bitters!

  366. Giggsy's Chest says:

In fact I don’t even think we’re that desperate for a world class midfielder. Anyone who’s paid attention to Swansea this year will likely agree with me, Joe Allen. 22 years old, United fan, wouldn’t cost more than £10 million. Wonderful little player that links play with ease. Composed, can play the simple pass or the Hollywood balls seemlessly. Can be the advanced playmaker or could be Carrick’s long term successor. Really hope we look at him.

  367. MG says:

Damn the kids lost the Aegon cup

No heads down boys it’s a learning curve you’ll be back.

    19

  368. WeAreUnited says:

Did anyone watch Youth Aegon future cup, United youngsters were at the finald against Ajax, lead 2-0 until the goalie made a mistake which led to a 2-1 equaliser and then United lost with penaltys.

Anyway, watched the players, I think 14-15 years old players? 4 players stood up, don’t know the names but

number 8 was a deep midfielder with great ability to keep posession and a bit xavi esque type of player. number 10 an attacking midfielder which reminded me of Paul Scholes with greargreat ability and great eye for a pass, and then striker number 9 a bit rooney and torres esque with great ability to keep the ball and score.

we have a great future if these guys keeps developing.

  369. WeAreUnited says:

Sorry MG, didn’t notice you comment.

they will have great experience from that game. shame they lost, didn’t deserve to lose.

  370. WeAreUnited says:

just checked the age of players and they were 17-18 old :D

my mistake anyways, if anyone know the name of those players, cause they played nice,

  371. wayne says:

Costas i feel if the owners had given Hughes more time would’ve have done a better job than Mancini,he always seemed to be under pressure of the sack.

  372. Denton Davey says:

    WillieRedNut @ 23:11 – great rant !

Wayne, KingEric, Clint, Sandeep, Balaji – disagreement is part of the joy of this forum. My view about SAF’s retirement was meant to stir you up by suggesting that we all take into consideration the “lesson” of 2001 (?) when he announced his year-end departure but retracted it when he found that he was losing control of his players.

My “guess”, therefore, takes this experience very, very seriously. SAF is all about control – ” the most important person at the club has to be the manager” – and I’d be very surprised if he makes that 2001-mistake again. Plus, he’s always been one to give “kids” a chance – do the owners feel the same way ?

The Glazers – love them or hate them – have a huge stake in getting the right man in the job so that their investment keeps on appreciating, funded by the on-field success of “the product”. Jo$e would be an expensive but relatively safe and easy choice; Moyes would be a cheap choice BUT Ole would be the smart, long-term choice. And whatever one might think about the Glazers’ “stewardship” of the club, they seem to be long-term investors who have seen their investment more-than-double it’s capital value during the tenure of their ownership.

  373. WillieRedNut says:

Leeds losing at home again lol. And they’re down to 10 men! That dirty cunt Brown sent off ha ha. Warncock is doing a real good job!

    Cheers denton!

  374. JT says:

    @ WeAreUnited

you are refering to Benjamin Pearson (no:8), Matt Daelhi and Sam Byrne. Jack Rothwell also, has great potential but faded out today in the last 10 minutes. Couldn’t see Ajax score until that mistake by O’Hara. Disppointing final 12 minutes after a brilliant display.

For me, Benjamin Pearson stands out, though.

  375. wayne says:

  381. WillieRedNut says:

    Derby 2 up now lol.

  382. Costas says:

    @wayne

That’s part of the problem when you’re dealing with sugar daddies. They’ll want to bring in their own choice to manage the club. It’s what Abramovich did with Ranieri and Mourinho. The problem at City wasn’t the quality of the manager. On paper Mancini is better than Hughes. But it was the gradual evolution of the roster into a bunch of mercenaries. They wouldn’t be on our birthday party list, but players like Ireland, Bellamy, Dunne and even Barton were part of the team’s fabric and they gave it character. Just like Fletcher, Giggs, Scholes and Evans give to United. So with all of them gone, maybe Hughes was a better option as a manager. At least he had an idea what that club was about, as well as what it takes to win the Pr. League title.

If Owen Hargreaves ever writes a book and is honest about it, I’d love to know how the 2 teams’ dressing rooms compared.

Theboogeyman. Hello mate. Hope you are well young man. Oh I knew it wouldn’t be the cakewalk for City everyone expected. Experience and bottle counts for a lot and those cunts have none.

As for Silva yes he is a great little player but seems his obvious reverse pass was getting read back in Jan. Just watch and see how many times he does it. Players like him, Bale and Modric are all hyped up to be world beaters whilst Carrick is slagged off as a mug. Hmmm. Look who is doing the business at this stage of the season and not in october. Don’t get me wrong I think Silva is class but he will be back in Spain soon.

  392. belgianred says:

Looking at the remaining fixtures between spurs newcastle and chelski it looks like the last CL spot and europa could come down to goal difference:

Newcastle (End of season points total: 72):
    Bolton (H) – Win
    Stoke (H) – Win
    Wigan (A) – Win
    Chelsea (A) – Lose
    City (H) – Draw
    Everton (A) – Win

Chelsea (End of season points total: 72):
    Fulham (A) – Win
    Arsenal (A) – Lose
    QPR (H) – Win
    Newcastle (H) – Win
    Liverpool (A) – Draw
    Blackburn (H) – Win

Spurs (End of season points total: 72):
    Norwich (H) – Lose
    QPR (A) – Win
    Blackburn (H) – Win
    Bolton (A) – Draw
    Aston Villa (A) – Win
    Fulham (H) – Win

Here’s hoping for newcastle to either score a shit load of goals or win all their remaining games!

Belgian Red Devil and Manchester United Red Devil 4 Life!

  393. Indian Devil says:

Norwich on same point as scousers, Evertion 4 points ahead (played one game more)

There’s a chance of Norwich finishing above scousers on current form and Everton should finish above their racist neighbours

Spurs and Newcastle on same points, 3 ahead of Chelsea (Chelsea have a game in hand)

    Great fight for 4th place

  394. Indian Devil says:

@belgianred – You will be lucky to get even 50% of those predictions correct mate, it just don’t happen. Who would have predicted Spurs losing to Norwich at home, not many i don’t think so.

BTW while we are at it, I predict a 2-1 win for Fulham tonight, what’s the odd for that?

  395. belgianred says:

@Indian Devil – no shit about my predictions being correct with the way some of these games are finishing! but i do believe there is a good chance newcastle can finish fourth with chelsea 5th and spurs finishing 6th we all know spurs are capable of caving in and fucking up there last few games lol!

  396. mancdub says:

In a bit of pain today. Think i pulled a hamstring celebrating the 2nd goal yesterday. Getting on a bit now. I’ll have to start warming up before games. Should be fit for Wednesday though :)
There’s no finer sight on a football field than Paul Scholes rolling back the years and with a trade mark goal from outside the box.
I thought his decision to retire was right because last season he didn’t really have that much impact and I thought it only fitting that he should go out at the very top. But his impact since his return has been incredible. 3 goals and only 2 points dropped.
Scholes has got his swagger back.
So the leagues in the bag. All I want from this season now is a resounding win in the derby. It doesn’t have to be 6-1 just a 2 or 3 goal win so all these fucking shit talking pundits will have no choice but to admit that Manchester United are without doubt the best team in England.

  402. fergie is the boss says:

Jeet – which toure? because neither would get into united’s squad. YAYA in on 200k a week, so I would not touch him, and he is a limited player. When united’s midfield is all about pass and control which is something united will look at a playmaking midfielder; has for his brother do not make me laugh, overrated and a reason why wenger sold him in the first place

I think you said company, again he would not get into the squad, because he is not better than ferdinand vidic evans jones and smallen. The only reason I may want him in united’s squad, is because of the injurys to ferdinand vidic smallen and jones, but evans is turning into one of the best defenders in the premiership, and rio has been a rock.

Silva quality player, but he aint better than valencia and young at the moment, nani he needs time to get fit again. And like I said aguero would be a great striker to go along side rooney with valencia and young stretching sides. No question in the summer 3 signings need to be made, a top class striker to go alongside rooney, and to replace rooney if we decide to rest him, and 2 midfielders, one to replace scholes in the controlling of games, and another to create depth to the engine room which is down to the bear bones

  403. Indian Devil says:

  409. WillieRedNut says:

Kompany is the best central defender behind Rio and Vidic. Jones, Smalling aren’t better than him atm. Don’t care what anyone says. Evans is in great form, but back in October some clowns on here wanted him sold ffs. I wouldn’t swap any of our players for Kompany, but I’d take him from the bitters as Vidic’s long term replacement.

  410. WillieRedNut says:

    Torres?

  411. fergie is the boss says:

WillieRedNut – evans has grown up for me, during the city defeat I said jones should have played because he was in great form. But it has shown for me with scholes returning, anderson should be moved on now, and find a player who can do scholes job that controls games and passes it to the forwards. Because we do not need a destroyer, we need someone who can play those decisive balls, look at city 2 DM makes them solid, but it has made them limited in away games.

  412. AnomanderRake says:

I think we need to buy only one player this summer.
Cover/Future replacement for our player of the season – one Mr. Michael Carrick.

We are top of the league and City are behind United, so the natural order of things has been restored. Who says there isn’t a God?

It all started to go wrong for City when Silva’s form dropped, probably because Mancini had burnt Silva out by overplaying him. City without a functioning Silva just aren’t up to much creatively. It’s amazing that City have spent a King’s ransom on personnel yet have proved to be so dependent on a single player, a case of the sum of the parts being less than the whole. All the blame games being played by Mancini at the moment -Balotelli and Tevez were Mancini’s calls- won’t mean shit when the Arab despots tally what they’ve got for their money – they thought they had bought the EPL. That banner at Arsenal yesterday summed City up perfectly: ‘You can’t buy class.’

    Our form,

    WWWDWWWWWWWW

    37 points out of 39…

    fucking top class…

still the worst United team in the past 20 years and not a match to world class city midfield…

  441. Sandeep1878 says:

‎”Fletcher is back, he’s like a new signing, Vidic and Anderson have been training hard all summer, Cleverley needs to be given his chance and I promised Pogba he’ll get more game time this coming season, Smaling and Jones are maturing and there are still goals left in Michael Owen”……. for those dreaming of hazard, gotze, or any other carlos kickaball, expect Sir Alex to say these words in the summer.

    ;)

Just got Paddy Power’s latest selected odds for the Grand National.

    Synchronised 7/1
    Junior 10/1
    Ballabriggs 14/1
    On his own 14/1
    Andy Carroll 150/1

I would advise anybody to think seriously before putting any money on Andy Carroll after he suffered
a heavy fall last time out, and was lucky not to be put down. One mug punter lost £35 million, though
in reality (at least in his deluded mind) it was only £ -15 million due to him having a £50 million win
earlier in the year. One horse attracting a lot of interest is Suarez 7, a lot of local money (dole) has been wagered anti post, but again I would advise caution because although he looks the part, this 8 year old is a very unreliable jumper with a tendency to fall even in the parade ring. Whoever you eventually decide to back, enjoy the only sporting event on Murkeyside worth watching Good Luck to you all.

  444. WillieRedNut says:

Hold on lads? City have released a statement saying, they didn’t lose yesterday. In their heads on a moral cloud somewhere, they’re top by 8points! :P

ManShitty’s weekend game is away to Norwich – a match that has “banana skin” written all over it. Shitty are in free-fall, internally-divided (what about that, Owen Hargreaves ?), and pretty lousy on the road.

Norwich have it in their sights to finish above LiverpoolFC. It’s time for CanaryMania !

  450. LoneStarRed says:

    @Denton Davey

Who is this Owen Hargreaves you speak of? Should i know him?? :-D
