It doesn’t say anything new. We have known all along about how great a Manager Sir Alex is and the way he empowers his coaching and playing staff is second to none.

He has instilled this desire to win in every single one of his players from Keane, Robson and Bruce and even to Ronaldo. This is what drives them on and winners and challangers are what all his players and ex-players have become.

I read a stat one day that something like 12 % of all league managers in england were coached by or with fergie. the influence is immense. yet another example of united class and talent.

for the future: gaz, rooney (maybe), and maybe scholsey or giggs…

saf- it,l be a sad day when he leaves. and thats a real understatement.
its been a good 10 yrs since i last doubted or questioned any of his decisions. watchin us under him 4 all these years has helped me understand football a lot better. simply the best.
as for new arrivals on the management front. im not really feeling any of this current crop as a boss at the minute.
i cant see gary neville being a top boss.
it just doesnt seem him. a coach, yes. reserve team manager yes, involved at our club doing something, defo.
eric.?! nooooooo! legend!

p.s.. irwin knows what hes on about but is too nice to be a boss!

im truely impressed with SAF’s contribution to soccer.the records speak for themselves.

I was sceptical about 20legend,but im now almost sure that fergy didnt make a mistake.only time will tell.

You are missing half the story. The list of SAF’s ex-players who are now in management should include Alex McLeish, Gordon Strachan, Eric Black and Mark McGhee from his time at Aberdeen and Bryan Robson, Laurent Blanc, Mark Robins, Chris Casper and the next manager of United Darren Ferguson. There are probably a few more too. And it was a joke about Darren, by the way. Laurent Blanc will be our next manager.
