He was “stolen” from Barca’s youth academy when he was 16 – just like Fabregas and Fran Merida were stolen by TheArse. But that’s no reason why he should have been sold back to Barca at a discounted price.

Great point. But I don’t think that SAF rated them equally. He had to choose between them and went for Jonny Evans. Barcelona got a deal in only paying about seven million quid/euros (? – just about the same amount nowadays !) for Pique – he even plays for the Spanish national team. I thought that he was given back to Barca for about one-half of his real value which makes me wonder if there were hidden elements to the deal.

In a way i wanted real to win to have an open league because i like them (except ours of course lol) But now i remembered ronaldo wants to go there…so his dream should be closed now.Barcelona are unstoppable in the league im sure they opened Ronaldo’s eyes.
