What Would YOU Ask Nani?

Nani has gone from strength to strength this season and has emerged as one of our few players who keep their head held high following this recent rut.

I am going to be meeting up with the lad this week for a chat.

What would you like me to ask him?

Can you ask him what his favourite chocolate bar is please :D

  10. canvey kid says:

Ask him to cut out the quadruple somersaults because it will go horribly wrong the second he becomes a world class player and he will be out for 1 year. Saying that, beg him not to do a Robbie Keane roly poly….

  11. sinred says:

    @ GHTT

    Your daughter is quite adorable.

  12. Dec the red says:

Would he follow ronaldo to madrid?

  16. romeo says:

Ask him where he bought that elixir! And then we all chip in to get it for the rest of the team!
On a serious note, I’d like to know the exact words Sir Alex said to turn his season and career around!

  17. Fabio says:

    @ajopaul LOL, funny as:)

  18. Callum 98. many tackles and niggly incidents go unpunished apart from ours. We had a lot of acting out there mate, not on our side i would quickly add. At the start of the Second half like most lads I was as high as a kite apart from the Goal for the dise says:

How do you find the time to practice football and keep a boy band going?

  19. zain man red says:

to score the winning goal against the bitters.

  20. bigphil2003 says:

Personally I wouldn’t ask him anything, I’d shake his hand and say “Keep up the good work lad, you’re well on the way to becoming a legend”.

Though if I had to ask him something I’d be interested to know whether he really did nearly faint against Munich or if he was timewasting.

  21. Chrispiano says:

What was your favourite moment at Manchester United? Whether it be a single match altogether, or a goal, skill etc.

  22. omar23 says:

Given the choice which player would he like to play with at United next season?

  23. Fze123 says:

    1. Which game do you feel you performed best in at this club?

    2. Did you speak to Ronaldo after Real Madrid crashed out of the CL? :)

    3. Who is your favourite player at Utd?

    4. Would you stay at this club all your career if things are going well?

    5. Messi or Ronaldo?

  24. ace red devil says:

    there’s nothing to ask :D
nani is outstanding this seson, far better than his countryman Ronaldo

    keep the good work NANI

  25. KevKev says:

    Nani..

Do you know who shot J.R?

  26. Fred says:

Commend him on his excellent goals and performance against Bayern and make sure he knows how important it is to us to beat City. ;-)

Against Blackburn when nothing was clicking, I was looking to Nani to provide the spark, (unfortunately he was having an off-day.) I think it’s an amazing turnaround when we can say that if Nani has an off-day, United have an off-day. Maybe we’re not quite there yet but still… I think in future Nani will thrive on the challenge of carrying the team on his back, just as his compatriot Ronaldo did. They both have that “ego” (meant in the kindest way!)

So I think you should let him know how proud we are of him and that we have great confidence in him. Then when he plays a blinder against City, we’ll know why. ;-)

  27. willierednut says:

Ask him for his girlfriends phone number lol.

  28. keegan4england says:

He’s our best crosser so tell him to cross without looking.

  29. Chris247 says:

Please don’t ask him about any comparison to Ronaldo or filling his boots etc. I’m sure he’s sick to death of that and doesn’t really welcome the pressure either

Maybe ask him something about the World Cup coming up aswell

  30. Zorin says:

    Do you still bang ho’s?

  31. Zorin says:

Have you and Ronaldo ever had a spitroast together?

  32. EastStandManc says:

Apologies for any errors (I’m still learning and I haven’t got a Portuguese keyboard with the accents!):

Vendo ao Scholesy, Giggsy e Neville – o que voce queires fazer com o United ao futuro, realmente?

(Looking at Scholesy, Giggsy and Nev, what would you like to do/achieve at United in the future, realistically?)

Nós pensamos aqui, ao Republik of Mancunia, que o United e mais grande do que o Inglaterra – para voce, e o equipo nacional mais importante do que o United?

(Here (at RoM) we think that United is bigger than England – for you, is the national team more important than United?)

  33. Scholeseviltwin says:

Fried egg on pizza – yes or no?
Who would win in a fight between a leopard and an orangutan?
    Why are your boots girlie?
    Why cant you take corners?

  34. KevKev says:

Ask him what gets wetter as it dries lol

  35. Zorin says:

Do you think Adorno and Horkheimer’s view of the Culture Industry is still relevant today or has the Industry surpassed even them? Are we living in a post-culture industrial age if you will?

  36. Hughsie88 says:

    Can you moonwalk?

Best friends and most influential team mate for you? (would be good to know who has quiet friendly words in his ear)?

    World cup hopes?

If he struggled when fans got on his back and how he feels Bout our changing attitudes towards him and his performances this season?

Who is longest in the shower? Haha, rio was asked this on soccer am, he thought for a while and said that kuzchak spends a lot of time in the shower – I think he missed the point!

Give him some praise – the boy needs to know he’s got our backing!

Don’t go on about him replacing ronaldo, he seems to hate being compared to him – his own player/man that sort of thing

    hopes for next season?

What’s the best thing about being a man utd player? (for a model answer, see berba’s response…)

  37. Paul Parker says:

    SCOTT THE RED !!!!!!
    _________________

    Seriously mate, Seriously….

Ask him IF HE KNOWS THAT HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A TRUE MANCHESTER UNITED LEGEND LIKE GEORGE BEST AND RYAN GIGGS FOR YEARS TO COME !!!!

Also ask him IF HE KNOWS THAT HE DOESNT HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE CONSTANT COMPARASONS TO RONALDO BECAUSE HE IS NANI AND THERES ONLY ONE NANI !!!!

    Finally,

Ask him IF HE KNOWS THAT THE ONLY THING REAL FANS WANT FROM HIM IS TO SEE HIM ENJOY HIS FOOTBALL AND KEEP HIS HEAD UP AT ALL TIMES – BECAUSE THE STICK HE GETS FROM SECTIONS OF THE FANS / MEDIA IS DUE TO HIS AMAZING POTENTIAL.

Mate, if you ask him those questions I’ll be your best friend forever !!!!

Seriously, its important he KNOWS those things, im sure he does, but it cant hurt for him to hear them again. Nani is a very special player, regardess of our fans short-sightedness, and he should be treated as such. Cheers Pal !

Also, thats no exaggeration to compare his POTENTIAL to Best and Giggs

Ronaldo had Best’s Potential too, and we saw that potential realised before he left. If only Ronaldo stayed with us for his Entire Career he wouldve become a justified Legend just like Best and Giggs, instead he left and he’ll always regret the decision. If Nani stays, and continues to improve and grow in confidence and consistency, he will be a United Legend.

LASTLY ASK HIM IF HE KNOWS HOW SPECIAL HIS TWO GOALS AGAINST BAYERN WERE REGARDLESS OF THE MEDIAS INDIFFERENCE. TELL HIM I SAID FUCK THE MEDIA PAL THOSE GOALS WERE HUGE AND HIS PERFORMANCE IN OUR VICTORY WAS SECOND TO NONE.

CONGRATULATE HIM ON THOSE GOALS – THE BASTARDS IN THE MEDIA DIDNT…….

  38. JSNFRMN_MUFC says:

    1. What do you feel you need to develop to make you even better as a player?

    2. Which defenders/teams do you like playing against and hate playing against?

  39. Jassim Al-Thani -- Qatar says:

Make sure he and all the players know we are supporting them through this blip!

    We’ll never die!

  40. Cocci says:

ask him if he prefers to play on the right or on the left side because he good run of form came when he started playing on the right!

  41. Scousers Suck says:

Wow Scott! Thats huge! Good on you mate.
Ask Nani what Sir Alex said to him after his rant earlier in the season. Also, ask him if Ando has managed to string a few words together in English yet.
P.S. GHTT its good to see you back. Havent seen you on the discussion thread in a while now. Hope all is well.

  42. Emmerson Boyce and Hitler says:

    shirts where it is?

  43. theboogeyman says:

Ask him to recommend RoM to his mates at the club. :D

I would like to ask him what made him understand what it was to play for this magnificent club.

  44. Darknight says:

How about how his first day at united was? I mean things not spoken much of… that would be good.

  45. Hughsie88 says:

    Well said Paul Parker.

Welcome back GHTT, it’s good to see you gain. Would be great to know if the players watched Emily. I hope you both enjoyed her first trip to OT. keep her songs coming

  46. Paul Parker says:

Scott, Seriously Pal, break down those questions I left how ever you want,
but please address those points with him.

    1) He has the potential to be THE best we’ve ever seen thus far in a United Shirt.

    2) He is his OWN player and doesnt need to think of Ronaldo – he is NANI.

    3) The Criticism he gets is due to his Amazing Potential

    4) Real Supporters just want to see him Enjoy his Football and Keep his Head Up.

    5) His 2 Goals / Overall Performance when we needed it against Bayern was Sensational.

    Cheers.

  47. PabloAimless says:

Do you watch shameless? You remind me of the guy wot’s gay but in the scary irish family so he has to pretend he isn’t gay, but I bet you moonwalk better than he does.

    Also-
    1. What do you do?
    2. Who do you do?
    3. Faves?
    4. Worsties?
    5. Jedward?
    Byeeee

  48. grimeandreason says:

Given the immense stature of the adonis you have thus far wholy failed to come close to matching, do you wake up in the middle of the night screaming, bed-sheets soaked with sweat, with the risidule image of Ronaldo lowering over you, fingers glistening, beckoning with the sheen of lubricating hair gel…

  49. Keefe Burtons says:

If you were unarmed, but had to kill a deer, how would you go about it?

  50. Emmerson Boyce and Hitler says:

Nani, what is under your bed?

  51. Darknight says:

    @ Paul Parker
The last three points definitely need to be said to him…:)

  52. JD says:

Q1: You played a great game against Bayern and scored 2 fantastic goals, but overall the team lost on aggregate. How does this effect you?
Q2: What type of player would you like to realistically see in United next season to help bring back silverware, if any?

  53. S the Red says:

Jz tell him well done lad. All the best for next season. Looking forward to see more from him next season. Congratulate him also for proving the critics wrong on several occassions. Who is his WAGS by the way??? Simply asking….

  54. Muggaz says:

    @Zorin

That was the funniest post I have ever seen on this site, ever!!!!

    @STR

I have no desire to get inside the mind of a footballer (probably aint too much space in there anyway) Just give him a good ol’ pat on the back from us, tell him to keep up the hard work, and let him know his efforts have been appreciated this season and we look forward to many more!

  55. Twatter says:

What does he think of Susan Boyle?

  56. Giles Oakley says:

Apart from telling him how much I have enjoyed his performances this season, I’d like to ask him how he handles the weight of United’s history. Has he read any books about the club or watched videos of past heroes? Do foreign players like him have much idea about the club’s history and traditions? What does Munich mean to him now? Are these things an inspiration? Or are they baggage they could do without?

I’d also like to ask whether there are any divisions along national or language lines within the team. If so, do they become more pronounced when things are going wrong – like now?! Does he know much Bulgarian???

Does he read blogs like RoM? Do other players?

Oh yes, don’t forget Zorin’s questions. Took the words right out of my mouth…

  57. Danillaço says:

    @EastStandManc
Your portuguese sucks! hahahaha. Just kidding.

Scott, could you ask Nani, who Fergie’s role influenced his improvement late in this season? And mostly important, can he keep up, please?

  58. Keefe Burtons says:

What is the darkest thing you have ever done to another human being for revenge?

  59. Keefe Burtons says:

Can I have one of your milk teeth please?

  60. Chris20LEGEND says:

Ask him to convince his best mate Cristiano to come back… ha

  61. AlphaRS says:

Mr Nani. What do you think of people on this blog posting that you should have been sold in the January transfer window because Obertan is a better player than you?

  62. Sherif Zaki says:

Did he convince Sir Alex to buy Veloso?

  63. Mortal Wombat says:

Ask him what was the deal when he was groggy against Munich. And tell him to keep up the great work, he’s been fantastic in 2010.

  64. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    ask him
Do you think Adorno and Horkheimer’s view of the Culture Industry is still relevant today or has………………….. oh ok Zorin already asked that forget it

  65. Gudjohnsen says:

    1. What is your best and favorite goal for Manchester United?
    2. How do you spend your free time? Do you hang out with any of your teammates?
    3. What’s your favorite music band?
    4. Do you think Cristiano will ever return to Manchester United?
    5. What’s it like to be in the dressing room after disappointing results, like against Bayern and Chelsea? Did the gaffer have any sympathy for you after the Bayern game at OT since the performance before the sending off was truly exceptional?
    6. In what areas do you think United need to strengthen the squad?

  66. Nani17* says:

Ask Him If He Can Get Us 15 Goals Next Season.

  67. Haakon says:

What do you think of your song “Nani Nani Nani, he shags fanny, with Anderson”?

Do you notice the fans applauding you for doing good stuff, rather than singing because it is difficult to make a hit song on your name?

Off topic.. I think Nani needs a hit ala Wes Brown/Park Park wherever you may be/Jip Jap Jaap Stam to lift his performances! Because I think he is one who needs confidence and a great chant will surly lift him up.

Funny to see that the “Nani Nani Nani” chant is starting to build momentum, yesterday was the first time I heard it at a game.

  68. EastStandManc says:

    @ Danillaço

Oh very nice! Cheers for the encouragement :-P !

The important thing is that I’m trying.

P.S. I like Giles Oakley’s questions best so far. Don’t forget to gee him up a bit, Scott!

  69. Chep says:

not just the freekicks, but his corners are terrible. ask him if he does practise those as well, cause he needs to do that day and night

  70. DforDerivative says:

Ask him who’s the longest in the changing room.

  71. Red Devil 19 says:

    @ghtt media studies graduate?

  72. s18 says:

WHAT REALLY HAPPEN at that corner when he want to take the corner kick against Munich?? How does it happened? I mean did he sprint without breathing?? I ‘m really curious!

  73. aaron says:

Ask him what Sir said that made him suddenly wake up and transform into the player he is now.. I’m really curious to know because wldn’t it be nice if Sir had said these things to him from the start?

I also would like to know if he’s prone to doing a Ronaldo and run when Real or whoeva comes in for him. Tell him no grudges beared, just wan to be give a heads-up

  74. themufc1999 says:

Why he can’t beat the first man when taking corners?

  75. ro says:

does he do practes for the free kick ??? when was ast time did u speak c ronaldo ??

  76. lidija says:

keep your head up,give the ball faster and practise free kicks and corners-cos you can do it we’ve seen it- just do it every other game-make the goalis afraid of you. What did SAF told you or do to you in dec-feb this year????

  77. Anon says:

Wow Scott, that’s a great scoop there! Best of luck for the interview mate!

What I’d like to know from Nani, is his opinion on playing on the left. We all have seen what he can do on the right, but he seems to be getting it together on the left too. He’s got a couple of assists now, understatement I know, and bagged that brace against Bayern. Would he still prefer the right?
    And
What does he make of the green and gold movement? I know there is a gag on the players about the topic, but you could always try! ;)

  78. Robert S says:

    1. Are you more comfortable on the left or on the right hand side?
    2. Do you prefer playing in a 4-4-2 or in a 4-5-1 system?
    3. Did you at one point feel that SAF lost faith in you?
    4. Do you stay after training to practise free-kicks and corners?
    5. Does SAF ever talk to team about cutting out diving and complaining to the referee?

And of course tell him that he has had a great season and that he should continue his hard work!
-> 6. Do players read Blogs and other stuff on the internet? ;)

  79. kel says:

Who teach you how to play piano? Is there any trick to learn capoeira?
What is your hobby other than football? What do you normally do when you are free? Where do you normally hang out? Who is your best pal at United?

  80. SteniS says:

    A few questions:

    - Why do you insist on wearing football boots with such ridiculous colours?

    - Who is you biggest role-model in football?

    - Which has been your personal best moment so far this season? Which has been the worst?

    - What do you know and think of the green and gold campaign?

    - What was the name of the first football club you played for as a kid?

  81. Alex says:

Scott – how did you manage to sort this interview?

I never get any luck with United players. Would be good if you let me know how you did it.

  82. KingAbdullah says:

Ask him about where he grew up and the kind of childhood he had.

Ask him to hit free kicks like Ronaldo. I’m sure he would do it better(more accurate).

Ask him how he would rate his united career so far.

Ask him who was his dream club as a boy.

    Which other league he likes?

What he thinks of Lionel Messi?

His memories of Luis Figo? Did he remember the goal he curled past us at the Bernabeau?

Ask him which young player in Portugal we should look out for as the “next big thing”

Ask him about our academy and who he sees making it through to the first team…or taking his spot.

Ask him if he believes Anderson will become a household name

  83. x says:

Ask him if he gets an assist for diouf to score or vis versa could they both do the summersaults together, that would be class

  84. afromanc says:

If real madrid offered you shit loads more money, would you go?

  85. paddys-jumper says:

do polar bears get lonely ?

  86. bchilds says:

I’m not sure what you should ask but it’s good you’ve been given access to a player Scott, how did that come about?

  87. Edge says:

Why don’t you demand to play on the right.

  88. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

noone can take corners anymore in football.

    -question has he seen this
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JW6yl4rTAM&

    :)

what id like to know is who gave him the kick up the hole
was it sir alex or was there a Keano Fletcher rednev rafa thing happen

  89. erictheking says:

-Does he think his high price tag as well as sharing nationality with Ronaldo put a lot of pressure on him to start delivering the goods from the word go?

-Was the temporary period on the sidelines after some comments he made about Fergie a defining period in his season and potentially in his career?

  90. redevil_83 says:

ask him what he’s doing to improve his freekciks, and corner taking ability? two things united are very deficient in currently

other than that nani has really stepped it up so congratulate him and tell him to continue that way!

  91. DEVILisRED says:

can u go back & help talk to foster? seems he’s fucking it up like the path u took before.
if u can turn it around, i am sure foster can. help him nani.

  92. redrick says:

if i put a pair of socks on the radiator the nite before, would they be dry in the morning?

  93. Tony Starks says:

Ask him if he wished we had bought some proven players to replace what we lost last summer

  94. so it goes says:

    - Whether he expects Hargreaves to come back (to full fitness).

    - What he thinks of the retards that boo their own teams’ players… and whether he thinks this affects the players efficiency.

    - And I agree with those who mentioned a question on whether he personally prefers left or right.

  95. so it goes says:

And oh yeah… Is there any truth to the Rooney gloves superstition news :)

  96. rubito says:

    Hi Scott,

Tell him to keep up with the improvement. It´s all down to hard work.
    And
Please ask him if the players read blogs like ROM?

    Thanks

COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS…………………. UNITED UNITED UNITED

  97. markcini says:

    scott,

i would like you to ask him this:

now that you have cemented your place in the first 11, what are your targets for next season? more goals, assists?

also, who is the best free kick taker at the club; you, giggs or rooney? i should probably mention hargreaves, but oh well…

  98. Costas says:

That’s a great assignment for you Scott. Gee, what to ask….

One question could be if he enjoys playing on the right or on the left.

Another one would be if he regrets taking the piss against Arsenal in the 4-0 win.

  99. Biku says:

Where was he born ? on Cape Verde? where did he train when he was a pupil

  100. Fze123 says:

How will you feel if John Terry lifts the PL trophy in May?

  101. Unitedordeath says:

Was El Debarge anyway a factor in his hairstyle choice?

  102. OneUnited says:

Do any of the players or Sir Alex read forums to see what the fans think? Ask Evra to make an account on this one.

  103. OneUnited says:

I hope Berbatov doesn’t have an internet connection.

  104. letranger0 says:

    1. How often does the team practice corners and other set pieces in training? Why are we so shit at corners?
    2. Left or right wing?
    3. How did/does he handle the Ronaldo comparisons and living in his shadow?
    4. When did he start doing his backflip celebration?
    5. Do you practice penalties in training?

I’d really like to hear how and how often the team practices corners because we must be up (down?) there as one of the worst set piece teams in the league (attacking I mean, defending them we are obviously very good).

  105. Linvoy says:

You could ask him if he wished he had a chant / song that was sung about him?

If HE has an idea for the song?

If it annoys anyone in the club that they don’t have one… I’m thinking of a certain Evra who probably deserves one more than anyone else I think!

Lastly I saw him last month as he was sat behind me at the Cirque de Soleil (near the Trafford Centre) and he seemed well into it… If he didn’t play football what would he be? A performer of somesort as he as the physique!

  106. mufc4ever says:

the guy has changed every 1s attitude towards him, all we ask 4 is 100% every match.. watch him go from strength 2 strength, neway my question is, will he kick john terrys head n nex time they meet

  107. In4muslegand says:

    I would ask Nani:

“Could you please SLAP Berbatov for his recent performances for Man Utd, thanking you in advance?

    and/or

Could you please intentionally (but make it look like an accident of course!) Injur Berbatov in training because I really do not want to see another one of his AMAZING “£30 Million Pound Striking” displays again this season!”

Thanks Nani! Hope to see your sumasualt celebration at Eastlands on Saturday!

  108. noorgiggs says:

When was the last hairdryer you got from sir alex ?
How was sir alex’s reaction after we had been knocked out of the cl?
Do you think we need to make big signing this summer ? if so , on which positions ?
    ,,
best of luck , cheers mate

  109. Zulu-Malta says:

The question for Nani is. You are a very good player BUT when are you going to play for the team as part of the team instead for yourself ?

  110. Don says:

Why has nani not been playing good consectively this season?

  111. Dimitar Berbatov is King says:

Nani huh…wished it was Berbatov. =D

Well, Scott, could you ask Nani how did he get over his slump?

  112. welovethereds says:

ask him how many girls he shags a week?

  113. Peter says:

He has always had the talent, but ask him to pinpoint what he has changed in his game recently and what advise SAF had given him.

  114. Peter says:

Kill someone, punch someone, shag someones misses…. John Terry, Didier Drogba, Steven Gerrard, and the reasons why.

  115. KING RYAN says:

Do you think the current squad is strong enough this year to win the premier league and then go on next season to win back the european cup and retain the premier league or do you think there needs to be more additions to the squad or are transfer funds at the club limited to the enormous debt from the glazers? – i hope he will be able to understand all that

  116. Maik says:

What does he feel was the best moment of his career inside a pitch?
Wich games are the ones he enjoys the most?
Wich was his best performance in a red shirt?

  117. Costas says:

Another thing I wanted to ask him, is what really happened in that party after his debut goal against Spurs. :P

  118. willierednut says:

Tell him to stop flipping around and be more consistent.

  119. Gandalf says:

Now that he is finally coming good, ask him to stop the somersaults and get a new celebration. We don’t need any injuries because of that.

Tell him that we absolutely loved his and Valencia’s contribution agianst Bayern Munich last week and well done to him for scoring the goals. The second was reminiscent of Ronaldo against Arsenal in the 4-2 match.

Ask him to work with Valencia on a better partnership for both wings. Better corners and free kicks please.

Please pass on the message to the United team not to give up on the title, lets go out and win every game and score goals.

  120. Laith Al-Kiyumi says:

    Hi Nani .

Do you think that berbatov is good enough to play for united ?!

Who is the best player in the world you think ?

Is ronaldo still talking about ManUtd ?

    thanks :) !
    well done Nani !
    keep it Up !!
    you are the best !
i hope you get number 7 instead of Owen !

  121. bchilds says:

Nani is a good example and a ray of hope that Berba may still come good!

  122. Costas says:

    @bchilds

I hope so mate. Although I think that Nani should be an example for Anderson more than anyone else. What Berba has to do is try to play his football and not worry about stuff around him.

  123. redscot says:

@ Willie stop flipping around and be more consistent, That sounds like a Bitch no getting a orgasm all the time.
Well played Scott what a Coup Coo och you know what I mean.
I would like you to ask him Star* Would he Object if I thought of him often and can imagine kissing him! only on the cheek for anybody that goes into overdrive.
Seriously now.You seem to have grown in confidence and performed since the extension of your contract, did you need to feel wanted at the club and feel you are an integral part of the future.
Well done though Scott, much deserved, do you need anyone to take notes on the day with Nani, I have a nice little taperecorder.

  124. 020luke190 says:

why don’t you get your finger out, stop reading the hype and start playing some football?

  125. redscot says:

@ 020 luke190, said like a true fan, I am assuming your finger, is that one that smells of shite that is constantly in your brains. Arsehole.

  126. RedDeviled Egg says:

Nani how does it feel to make all of the dumb idiots on this blog eat their words after slagging you off the whole first half of the season?

Does the mullet give you better traction and control?

Does it feel like Valencia has downs syndrome when you play with him since he can’t use both of his feet like you?

  127. Bashy says:

ASK HIM WHY HE DOESN’T PRACTICE FREE KICKS.

  128. Efstathios says:

Serious Questions (unlike some others – apologies if it’s already been asked):

Regarding the injury he had in December/January (the one he came back from supercharged and God-like:

    1) Was he actually genuinely injured or had he been dropped, but with an alibi?

    2) Did he speak to Sir Alex during that time, and if so what was said?

    3) During that period out, what does he personally think changed regarding his maturity (which Sir Alex commented on when he returned)?

Final question, unrelated to the above:

    - Having previously been a victim of this scapegoat mentality we’ve seen from our so-called “fans” recently, what does he think about this Berbatov situation?

    Cheers Scott.

  129. pibe says:

ask him if he hates the bitters and/or the dippers

  130. willierednut says:

redscot – lol mate, but i’ve never had that problem.

  132. Ang says:

his expectations for portugal in the world cup?
his expectations for next season with united; is he setting out any goals in particular?

  133. EpoXy05 says:

Which one of your Portuguese teammates would you like to one day see putting on a united shirt?

  134. DarkRed1 says:

Ask him what he thinks of the collective panic among is teammates when he offers to take a free kick.

By the way, guys just thought I’d share some of the man’s greatest hits:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anIJwCMWR4s&feature=fvste3

  135. vluzardo says:

tell him to practice free kicks… he needs to be our free kick master…

  136. yooney says:

Ronaldo had his own practice sessions for freekicks, do you? if you don’t pls do coz we badly missed deadball specialists

  137. 1878 says:

    JUST ONE QUESTION..

1- ARE YOU GONNA STAY AT MAN UTD FOR LONG TIME, OR YOU HAVE A CLUB U DREAM TO MOVE TO?

  138. Sprelligosi says:

Ask why he always has to hammer the ball rather than using finesse.

  139. number7shirt says:

    @Scott

How does he feel when the majority of Old Trafford criticize and heckle you when you turn in a frustrating game and, in turn, how does he think that affects his performance and makes players feel in general?

Then obviously ask what advice he gives to Berba for when the fickle prawn sandwich brigade get on his back….

  140. redscot says:

@ willie, lol see you get my humour.I will take your word on that issue, but a little bit too much information. See you at the Bridge on here tonight.Fingers crossed Owen Coyle and his boys can get us back on the correct vein stream.

  141. ajs says:

Is it true he was caught by the groundsman caught him sunbathing under the night sun lamps on the pitch?

  143. Kristina525 says:

What’s your favourite type of music to play on the piano and does Sir Alex know you can play piano?

Who’d win in a fight between Paddy Crerand and Lou Macari?

In your opinion, what is more important – Playing for Portugal or playing for Manchester United.

Why did you choose to play for Portugal but you were born Cape Verde?

I’m so glad you’re interviewing him this week, he’s my favourite!

  144. FuckTheGlazers says:

what motivates you to play even better?

AND: do you hate the glazers? becuause we do.

  145. JonnyUtd says:

Would you consider joining JLS ?

  146. ajs says:
