If we lose Chelsea go +9, with one extra game. If we win we’re -3 with a game in hand. I’d say it’s quite important, I just hope we don’t draw.

Can the FA make a ban on former players of ANY club becoming pundits???? It seems as if the better they are on the pitch, the less they know about the actual sport itself.

Sorry pally..we do love you loads. but your comments are indicative of former players. Great on the pitch and for their respective clubs when players. But talk childish incoherent inarticulate drivel when becoming pundits. Redknapp, crooks, palmer, souness, gullit…list goes on and on. Most talk crap and make nonsensical chat. At times it even gets emabarrassing when they state the same old obvious crap over and over again. Hoddle aside…who does talk sense.

Remember ex players more often than not make shite pundits. Yes everybody wants to hear from an ex pro…but in my book it doesnt make em rational experts.

er – no one fussed that pally’s literally talking bollocks here? he’s incorrect on our season starters being strong on years we won – they were the opposite, especially last season (the season he specifically notes). why is no one astounded by this? lol

Are more and more united fans (including former players) turning into glory hunters? FFS… OK… I didnt want to use that word but give the players a little break… Just go back last 15 years and see how United has dominated dippers during that time now compare this record other famous rivalries arnd the world… has any1 dominated their rival as United has dominated dippers???? We should just enjoy the whole united era instead of moaning abt this one match…. I wont mind loosing to Chelsea as long as we give them fight and make them earn the victory….. It is just a beginnnig of teh season and 5-6 points lead means nothing at this stage… Just enjoy the season and stop behaving like a rent boy beliving we deserve to win every match…

i know what ur saying scott,but i still dont think we can afford to lose this weekend.Losing back to back games against 2 of our rivals is hardly a good sign.I would be happy with a point on sunday.

Yes, true your stats for the opening 8 games are correct however, the present team is not doing well NOW. With injuries and suspensions we will certainly be away from the top 4. The league has stronger opposition now than when Pally was playing. A gap of 9 points will be difficult to overcome IF Chelski beat us on Sunday. Liverpool and Villarreal were NOT difficult games but we gave Liverpool 2 gift wrapped goals and we did’nt score on Wednesday night….I think we are in trouble…….
