Who has scored more goals than anybody - United Who has conceded the fewest number of goals - United Who has the best record in the mini-big-4 league - United Who deserves to win after all this - Manchester United who else !!! Why wouldn't Curbishley not praise us ? For the heck of it, even Kevin 'I would luv it' Keegan praised us for our game before their game against Chelsea. Trust Fegie to take care of the mind games :-)

I listen to TaLKspOrt occasionally, and this week, some of their presenters have been banging on about Wigan... it's been a joke at times - some of their presenters ought to be embarrased at themselves if they ever got to listen to the sound of their own voices... not that I mind too much - for every Mick Quinn for example, there's Terry Christian, who does the equivalent of the 606 show on Radio Five Live... Terry's a legend! Very funny, sometimes extremely biased, but, given the number of ABU cunts on the radio nowadays, he makes for great listening. (I thought journalism/broadcasting was about being a messenger? Who wants to know about the Journo's opinion on summat?) Anyway, another angle on this is how much of a mockery this is. I can't honestly believe that anyone from Wigan, from the players to Brucie, would have said any different. Could you imagine Steve Bruce being asked "so are you going all out to beat United on Sunday?", and his reply being, "Nah, they're a great bunch of lads there, and I could really do with a nice case of Chateau Lafite that Fergie promised me if we took it easy.." Me neither.
