Terry's ban was overturned! I am just shocked the FA over turned the call and it gives Chelsea a big boost for the weekend. It will be another tough game for United, we need to play well tomorrow (gain some confidence), and go in with guns blazing and defend better. It will be tough without Vidic and we will see how deep we are at the back but I will be watching how are attack gels at the Bridge. We could be scary good going forward with the stars we have and if anyone can handle those stars it is Fergie.

While I don't like him and don't like the fact he is still a United player after his ridiculous conduct this summer I don't think he will be booed nor should he. Regardless if I like him or not he is a United player for another season and if he helps us win I could careless if he wants to play for Madrid. He is in our history for some amazing play but also some ridiculous behavior and comments during the summer and for me he will never go down as a legend in my mind. He will never be held at the same heights as Cantona, Giggs, Keane, Busby, or Fergie for me.

This is a new age for sports where players demand to have what they want and while some may hate it a good argument for the players does exist. I believe Ronaldo is a perfect example of how sports have changed so much since I was a kid but the bottom line is he is our guy now and we need him this season to be as successful as we were last year. We shouldn't boo if he helps us win, if he is not doing that for some reason, have at him!

Jemima, it is clear to see that you are not a supporter of MUFC.

So, can I ask the question, who exactly do you support and why do you keep returning to a Manchester United Blog to post your unwanted and useless garbage.

You know, I am totally up for some banter with rival fans and it can be a laugh, but when the topics are solely to do with United, I cannot understand why you actually want to come back again and again (lately) to throw in your views when I am sure there's a Chelsea Blog (or whatever other team you may support) out there crying for you attention.

If you gave the time to actually talk about something useful, we'd all probably care.

Once a player pulls on a red shirt he should never be boo'd. You don't have to sing his name but we will all cheer his goals.

BTW. I wonder if John Terry got sent off on purpose at the council house because he couldn't stand the thought of the travelling Reds cheering his every touch of the ball at the Bridge next weekend? If I'd got a ticket for the Rent boys game, I'd be sick that JT isn't playing. It would have been one of the all-time great wind-ups! Viva John Terry.....

@Jemima: whatever club you root for, must have a forum right? Why don't you scurry on over there if you've got nothing constructive to add instead of being a WUM.

The Ronaldo saga made the headlines throughout the summer and the 23-year-old has added fuel to the fire with a fresh declaration.

“I’m happy at Manchester [United] but sometimes you need new challenges, fresh things for your mental [state] and for your career,” Ronaldo told A Bola.

this is from the setanta sports website....Now if he is till going about the whole "new challenge" thing maybe we ought to remind him that we arent going to love him anymore which he arrogantly expects us to.

Its pretty clear SAF has bought himself a year to find a replacement for CR.It would have been impossible to replace him this season with the euros going on and everything.Maybe our scouts are working full time behind the scenes.

But its a very strange situation to be in,how can we root for someone with our heart when we know he wants to leave ?Maybe we shudnt sing the VIVA RONALDO thing anymore....wats the point?

on the positive side he looks tto be the only silver lining...I know it shouldnt be all gloomy right now for all the reddevils but if we lose at Chelski then we would be 9 points off the top....and with some serious catching up to do.

Jemima, you're exactly right dude. If he scores another 42 goals and wins us the double again, I will sing his praises from the rooftops. Who the fuck wouldn't?
