    Lads lets not get carried away. Kiko scored the winner yes and we are still floating in the air from it. But i very very very much doubt he would have anywhere near such a game and impact for some time. We cant build him up…now expecting wonderful genius from him. Remember he’s still a kid and nowhere near proven at this level. Ofcourse it would be great if i was wrong and he did deliver again if given the chance this season.

    For me though, the most important thing is to get the first team injury hit lads back…brown, rafael, rio, anderson, berba are vital to our cause…and the sooner we have a full strength squad available the better. Cos we dont half miss those fellas…and ofcourse our ball winner hargo.

    Great win on sunday…..and even though we were so depleted…lets not get carried away…on sunday kiko papered over the cracks that have appeared. Our blip hasnt gone…nor are we out of the woods by a long way. We still look fragile, nervy and the players have looked edgy and anxious. And we shouldnt think portos a gimme….oh its an easy draw blah blah blah. Tonight could easily be another struggle…..i hope we do click and put in a good performance…..but i feel thats its going to be another roll your sleeves up and grit a performance out night. cos champagne performances cannnot be readily turned on after defeats. And porto are no mugs…..infact top of their league and a very very capable team….who would thrive on weakness and complacency and could easily beat us if we dont show some of that last 20 min fire in the villa game.

    Hence lets now dampen the hysteria from sunday….dose of reality now….and id take a 1-0 now.

    Ofcourse though hope my ‘reality’ or negative outlook summary is totally proven wrong. Just feel our wounds cracks havent healed…and we ve not suddenly due to kikos goal become the manchester united of february.

    Hence once again…fight, battle, grit and hunger will be more important than silky touches movement etc etc. And ofcourse once again…our fans are needed and are crucial tonight. Thats how you get you team out of the tough times.

    Personally i think if we can stop Lopez having a chance, we’ll fuck them. And lets be realistic, Feddy (my name for Macheda, fell free to use it) probably wont even get on. I’d love him to though. Always wanted to see United bring a top notch striker through and for him to become a regular. Too many move away (Ebans-Blake, Healy, Rossi etc) so it’d be great to see it finally happen.
