Win Four Tickets For Manchester United v Southampton

The contest is now over. Congratulations to Michael Marriott and James Pearson for winning the VIP tickets, and to Taylor Jones for winning the standard tickets. Enjoy the game!

United play Southampton in their final game of January, and given what happened last time these two teams met, you can expect entertaining football, a few goals and last minute drama.

We have two VIP tickets and two standard tickets to give away to ROM readers for the January 30th match at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Southampton. The tickets are courtesy of bwin, the official online betting partner of Manchester United.

How it works: Send your answer to the question below, your contact number and full name to competitions@therepublikofmancunia.com.

Question: Robin van Persie scored a hat-trick to help United beat Southampton 3-2 back in September. Who provided the assist for RvP’s third goal?

Send in your answer, contact number and full name to competitions@therepublikofmancunia.com.

You must be 18 or above to participate. The deadline for the competition is 08:00 GMT on 22 January 2013 (Tuesday).

The draw will take place on 08:15 GMT on 22 January 2013. The first name drawn will win the First Prize (VIP tickets) and the second name drawn will win the Second Prize (general tickets). The winners will be contacted immediately afterwards to notify them that they have won. The winners must confirm their acceptance of the Prize by 18:00 GMT on 22 January 2013.

On matchday (30th January 2013), the lucky winners can pick up their tickets from bwin at Old Trafford prior to kickoff.

Good luck, and even if you’ll be watching the Southampton game on TV with family and friends, let as many of your United friends know in case they can take advantage of his excellent opportunity to watch United play (and hopefully beat) Southampton at Old Trafford.
