Win Tickets To Manchester United v Newcastle United On Boxing Day

We have two VIP tickets and four general tickets to give away to ROM readers for the Boxing Day match at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Newcastle United. The tickets are courtesy of bwin, the official online betting partner of Manchester United.

How it works:

2. Send your answer to the question below, your contact number AND your bwin.com username to competitions@therepublikofmancunia.com.

You must be 18 or above to participate. The deadline for the competition is 6:00pm GMT on 16th December (Sunday).

The draw will take place on 0800 hrs GMT on 17 December 2012 and the first name drawn will win the First Prize (VIP tickets) and the next two names drawn will each win the Second Prize (general tickets). The winners will be contacted immediately afterwards to notify them that they have won. The winners must confirm their acceptance of the Prize by 0800hrs GMT on 18 December 2012.

On matchday (26th December 2012), the lucky winners can pick up their tickets from bwin at Old Trafford prior to kickoff.

Promotion Period: This promotion is only valid from 1200hrs (GMT) on 14 December 2012 until 1800hrs (GMT) on 16 December 2012.  By taking part in this promotion, you agree to these Specific Promotional Terms and Conditions, as well as bwin’s General Terms and Conditions.

Entry: To enter, players must: Register with bwin and Answer the Question – “Who scored a hat-trick in Manchester United’s boxing day match in 2011?” (the “Question”); and send their answer, contact number and bwin.com username to competitions@therepublikofmancunia.com.

First Prize: One Pair of VIP tickets for Manchester United v Newcastle United – Tickets permit VIP access for two people to the match played by the Manchester United first team against Newcastle United at Old Trafford at 1500hrs (GMT) on 26 December 2012.

Second Prize: Two Pairs of grandstand tickets for Manchester United v Newcastle United – one pair of tickets per winner for a total of 2 winners – the tickets permit grandstand access for two people to the match played by the Manchester United first team against Newcastle United at Old Trafford at 1500hrs (GMT) on 26 December 2012; seats are located in the grandstand. (each referred to as a “Prize”)

Prize Draw:

  •  Players who are registered with bwin and correctly answer the Question will be placed in a draw to win a Prize and a winners shall be drawn at random. There will be a total of three (3) winners.
  • The draw will take place on 17 December 2012 and the first name drawn will win the First Prize and the next two names drawn will each win the Second Prize.
  • The winners will be contacted by email to notify them that they have won. The winners must confirm their acceptance of the Prize by 0800hrs GMT on 18 December 2012. Failure to reply will result in forfeiture of the Prize and bwin will be entitled to re-draw.
  • Ticket Collection: The Winner must be available to collect the Tickets prior to kick off from the Old Trafford ticket office on 26 December 2012.
  • Eligibility: In order to be eligible for entry into the prize draw, players must:

  • be over the age of 18;
  • hold a valid bwin.com account;
  • be willing to participate in any related publicity campaigns.
  • Cancellation: bwin reserves the right to cancel this competition at any time, or to omit players from the prize draw, with or without reason.

    Publicity: We reserve the right to publish the names and details of the prizes won by all players as part of this promotion. bwin reserves the right to publish photos and news stories around the Winners.

    Non-transferable: This prize is non-transferable and must not be sold or given away to any third party without the prior written consent of bwin.  If the Winner is not able to attend the match, he or she must notify Republik of Mancunia at competitions@therepublikofmancunia.com that they wish to forfeit the tickets and bwin will be entitled to re-draw for the Tickets from the list of eligible players.  Bwin are under no obligation to offer a substitution if a Winner is unable to accept the prize. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are accurate and up to date.

    Identification: Winners will be required to provide their bwin.com username in order to be awarded the prize. Photocard identification will be required of both the Winner and their guest in order for the Winner to collect the Tickets.  Failure to provide valid proof of identification for both the Winner and their guest may result in neither party being allowed into the ground.

    Transport: The winner will be responsible for their own cost of travel and necessary insurance to and from the ground.

    Ticket Conditions: The winners and their guest must abide by the ticketing conditions and any breach of these conditions may result in the Winner and their guest being refused entry to Old Trafford.
