Oh and on the same note... in the Chelsea vs Arsenal game, JT did try to intentionally injure Fabregas. In a weird twist of fate, he later got injured himself. So if you believe in Karma, Gallas will get kicked from behind at some point as well and someone will headbutt Nani.

Okay Gallas was let off ... but lets not go into the whole diving thing. I remember Rooney clearly diving to end our unbeaten run and Rio pulling down Ljungberg when he had clear sight of goal (no action taken ). I dont think ManU is whiter than white - so lets not pretend to be. Miscarriages of justice are everywhere in the game - for the record Nani also appears to headbutt Gallas so its a lucky escape for him too. But I agree the FA is a bunch of jokers... tell me something new.

not only will the la liga followers be laughing their heads off, but it discourages the most skilful players from coming over to England, as they will know that no action will be taken against idiots who are jealous of their skill, so decide to petulantly kick out.

i completely agree on the 'one rule for united, one rule for everyone else'. only united players would get banned for what happened in a pre-season friendly!!!

Ronaldo was sent off early in the season for head butting (minimal if any contact) Hughes (taunting him) from Portsmouth and Scholes got sent off against Liverool last season for turning and swinging his arm at Alonso's face. Again no contact and that was for a player who was pulling him back by grabbing his other arm with two hands (not cautioned).

Now Gallas is clearly seen kicking Nani off the ball, has been for other parts of the match along with others and he is not booked. Rather Nani is cautioned for sizing him up in return. Even on video replay Whiley can dare say there didn't appear to be violent conduct. So what was it?

Referees this season including Webb are having to turn the blind eye to Arsenal players indiscretions because of the fallout from last year's Carling Cup final and this team's lack of control, both as individuals and as a team. This in pandering, just to get some cooperation from them so that high profile matches don't become a fullblown farce like the Carling Cup final.

Is it any wonder that Scudamore finds nothing wrong in thinking of changing league format at the expense of league integrity when these episodes of officiating inconsistencies are already taking place despite the existing rules and are already shaping the league and what the end result would be?

I can imagine those following La Liga etc laughing their heads off with this decision where the skilled player is cautioned and the one kicking, even off the ball, is let off scot free.

Come on guys, they are Arsenal. They will get off the hook for doing any offences.

Remember the incident in OT a few years ago? Giggs and Ronaldo were both banned for doing nothing and most Arsenal players get away without any ban.

You have to accept that the FA has 2 standards. 1 apply to Arsenal and Chelsea. The other standard will apply to the rest of the teams in England.

Notice he was turning his head to the ref even before he hit the deck. This must be the worst dive ever. :)

The match only showed how much TheArse need to grow up...children who cannot stomach defeats by a better team and resorts to kicking out and dives.

I do not condone any form of diving from any player, United or not. However, Adebayor made it look like a fine art. He is like a ballet dancer.

Rooney getting away with what Gallas did on Saturday? No Chance! I thought in the game, the ref must have missed it ' fair play, he'll sort it out after ' did he? No way, we;re United... we don't get away with things like the rival fans myths would say.
