Norman - Grant has already got more points this season, despite Mourinho's slump within the first few months, than Chelsea got with Mourinho last season.

Scott the Red - Most clubs were 5 points ahead of United after the opening few weeks, you had a dreadful start. None of us know what would have happened had Jose stayed but the title will be won this season (I expect by united) with less points than any Chelsea accumulated in Jose time, which suggests you may well have lost the title by now had he stayed.
Southroy - I picked this article up from the "News Now Chelsea" site so thought I'd try and make it a little more interesting for you by giving a view from "the other side", sorry if I failed and/or caused offence.

Do the Chelsea sites offer no entertainment for you, Norman? Odd that you'd be so preoccupied with comments on Scott's blog...
Robbo, how many times have Chelsea been fined this season for harassing the referees?
To be fair, the Chelsea players are just answering the same, re-treaded questions from the media who apparently are out of ideas. Of course, they're give a positive outlook!

Chelsea were crashing and burning under Jose. They were five points ahead of United after the opening few weeks of the season, then a month later they were 5 points behind.

Jose was exposed once the great squad that Ranieri had built for him started to be broken up and sold. He was truly dreadful in the transfer market and that cost him last season. It would have cost him this season aswell.

Just because you were conned by him, don't think that we all were. United would be Champions now if Jose was still at Chelsea, damn right I wish he was still there.

Redburrowhill - thanks for your input, very articulate.
Babek - Rooney, Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Nani, Anderson? Sadly it's the way of the world now even when you're ahead of the game let alone playing "catch-up".
Scott the Red - If a "poor" final season is winning both domestic cups and coming second in the premiership, I'd take it. As for wishing Jose was still at Chelsea, I think you're being far from honest.

Norman - Mourinho was poor in his final season at Chelsea, and poor at the start of this season, that is why he was sacked. United were 8 points clear the day they won the league. It's embarrassing that Jose's side were so far behind after the massive investments. Tbh, I wish he was still at Chelsea. If he was, we'd have won the title already and we'd be facing Liverpool in the Cup final.

Yeah Norman, my blind aunt could win the league with all that money and the players Mourinhou had at his disposal.. he was a great coach, no doubt, however I would like to see a Chelsea coach win the league with predominantly young players from the Chelsea academy at the same time as he builds a great time that will last for years.... Chelsea is nothing more than a glory-hunter/prostitute club....

I thought ManU and the Arse made harassing referees an art form? And anyone remember the Van Nistelroy's antics . . . the funny one against Arsenal . .. classic!

Sorry Sydney (that's an apology not an insult), you are of course right. Watching the second string win 3-1 at Old Trafford having already won the title with a record number of points. Beating you again 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to win the title for the second season running. Last seasons FA cup, two league cups plus the community shield, all in three seasons. I've never felt so "short changed".
