Ashley Young has spoken of his disappointment following Sunday’s defeat against Swansea but insists that the team spirit is fantastic and that the players are up for winning silverware.

After the last game, we’re a little bit disappointed with how things turned out, especially going in to the international break and you’ve got to wait 10 days to get yourself prepared for the next game. But we’ve made a good start and we go in to a massive game after the international break and we just look to kick on from there. We want to challenge for the title and cups, we want to challenge for everything. Everyone’s fully focussed and pulling in the right direction. The team spirit and the team bond we’ve got here is fantastic and that will continue.

Young was asked about David de Gea but only wanted to talk about how professional the goalkeeper was.

Obviously David’s a professional, he always has been and he always will be. I’m not hear to add to the speculation. I’d rather not talk about it.
