Young: Joining United Was A No-Brainer

Ahead of his first Manchester derby, Ashley Young has spoken about why he joined United.

“You just look at the club’s history and the titles they have won,” said Young. “I am an ambitious person and I wanted to win titles and play in the biggest competitions. Obviously United are winning Champions Leagues and playing in Champions Leagues every year. For me, it was a no-brainer. The manager, as well, the players, I just wanted to go there straight away and stamp my authority. The day I signed was a great moment for me and I wanted to get straight into pre-season training and get the ball rolling. You feel the difference from the time you sign for United. We went on a pre-season tour of America. Every stage that we went to, it was fantastic the amount of fans that were there cheering. United, as a club, is global. Everybody around the world knows about the club.”

    Morning Reds. Just on my way up to give the Posnan Pricks an ear bashing. They’re overconfident again so lets smash em to pieces and send the dejected bits back to Wastelands. Come on Reds

    Morning reds. I have a bad feeling about today. Hopefully I am wrong.

    Speaking of Dogleash, he said that Suarez’s integrity shouldn’t be called into question. His accuser’s should. Fuck off twat. And apparently he violated the FA’s order that he shouldn’t make any comments about the Suarez/Evra case. Fergie respected it, but apparently a different set of rules applies to the King. Wanna bet that he won’t even get punished for it?

    Heard that Messi missed a penalty last night. Sometimes I wonder if he and Ronaldo find it more difficult when they are not up against Spanish defences…

    Dogleash- Who has also claimed Suarez is not a diver. Credibility is zero for him.

    @Brett

    The problem with King Kenny is that he has his own retarded philosophy on a lot of things, yet the press treat him like he’s really royalty. It won’t be long before Suarez dives again, Will anyone shove it in his face? No chance.
