Ashley Young has been retrospectively banned for three games following an elbow on Dusan Tadic in Manchester United’s 0-0 draw against Southampton.

This means he will miss tomorrow’s game against Everton, as well as the FA Cup game against Derby and league game against Stoke at Old Trafford.

Young accepted the charge but argued three games was excessive. The three match ban was upheld regardless.

United will likely play Luke Shaw at left-back at Matteo Darmian on the right at Goodison Park, although Victor Lindelof is an option instead of the Italian.
