Following Manchester United’s 1-1 draw away against Anderlecht, Jose Mourinho was critical of the attacking players who, yet again, couldn’t find the back of the net.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is United’s top scorer this season but has also missed more “big chances” than any other player in the Premier League.

The striker has acknowledged that he didn’t play well enough in Belgium and that he has to improve.

I think the manager is right on this matter. I wasn’t feeling good. I was feeling tired but it’s not an excuse.

I still have to do much more, and do much better than I did. I speak for myself, and that was not a good performance. We have one month to go and we play many games. We’re still grinding, we’re still pushing, because we have the Europa League and the end of the Premier League. We’ll fight for it.
