I remember 'that goal' as will most of you bas***ds !!! Giggsy, like Scholes, is a TRUE football fan's dream, bo***cks to the rivalry, because when we're really sad old gits ( I'm nearly there at 46 ) regardless of what team we support, we'll still be taking about him. Sir Ryan Giggs.

I'm 21 and Giggs is like a security blanket to me; just him being on the team makes me feel better lol.
Here is one of my fav moments of him, scoring in the last game of the season last year to ensure us of victory in the league...although arguably the best part of this video is seeing fergie jumping down the touchline like the rest of us soccer fools :)

How long can he last?, hes playing at highest level at the age of 35 and is having a one sublime game after another..

I sure hope he will play on forever, or at least until Ferguson retires (the only manager Giggs had played for)

All hail Ryan Giggs

Nothing left to say about the man. Has played a big part again this season at 35 with his experience and coolhead. (Not to mention display against rentboys and goal at Upton Park). There is no doubt about it he will be knighted . LEGEND in the true sense of the word.

I'd love to have him as a a manager... No idea if he has the ability, but if he could stay with us for ever that would be great.

Best Premiership player EVER? - Sir Ryan Giggs - LEGEND! If we win the league this season...it'll be his 11th....same as his shirt no. - IF that happens...retire the shirt when he stops playing....no-one else is worthy...

livewia,i understand what your saying but retire the shirt? charltona best and law wore 7 8 10 and 11 but if they had of been retired we'd run out of numbers 16? 20? united have too many legends and will in the future so i dont know about that. but as i say i understand what you mean but imagine if they retired 7 after best, other have been worthy.

when they win the league after pickin 3 point over sunderland and villa maybe retire the number 41

Fantastic video. When i saw Best talk like that about Ryan i got chills.I will always feel that he will be our modern age Best and Charlton:He had the skills of the former and the devotion of the latter. Our own Maldini.United fans should enjoy everytime they watch him on the pitch from now on.They should feel blessed.

my idol, my hero, and a legend. i was there when he made his home debut against ciddy at age 17(i was 17 at the time too) and i've watched him grow into the finest, most proffessional, unnasuming, down to earth, loyal player this club or any club for that matter, has ever seen. He's probably the only player in world football who could walk down any street in the world and not get twatted by anyone! cos everybody loves ryan giggs! everybody respects him, not just as a footballer, but as a man, a family man. i think we're all lucky bastards cos seein that 17 yr old kid tearin defenders apart for 18 yrs has been a highlight of my life! ryan, we salute you.

ryan giggs, ryan giggs running down the wing, ryan giggs, ryan giggs, running down the wing, feared by the blues, loved by the reds, ryan giggs ryan giggs ryan giggs!

A couple of years ago I was in the bazaar in Cairo wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Ryan Giggs on it (no name) and this smiling Egyptian kid came up to me and said, 'Hey mister, you like Ryan Giggs?' I replied with an equally big smile, assuming I'd found a fellow Red, 'I don't just like Ryan Giggs, I love Ryan Giggs!', at which he pulled a face and screeched at me, 'Man City, Man City!' and ran away, howling with laughter. I had to laugh too, thinking to myself, is there any single Man City player you'd be able to recognise immediately like you did our Ryan? He's such a wonderful player and clearly a decent human being, he's known everywhere in the world like few other sportsmen in any field, despite never appearing in a World Cup. If anyone was to overtake Sir Bobby Charlton's record at Old Trafford it just had to be Giggsy. Both men are truly sporting and chivalrous in everything they do, winning almost universal praise for how they conduct themselves on and off the pitch. If United win any more trophies this year it will add to the pleasure seeing Giggsy add yet more silverware to his collection.

Great player, great ambassador for Manchester United, scorer of the greatest goal I have ever seen (against the gooners in the FA cup) and still doing it for us. God bless him.
