Sir Alex Ferguson has sung the praises of Patrice Evra after his brilliant form all season.
The Frenchman has only missed one league game this season and that was when the boss opted to rest him for Blackburn away.
“The form of Evra has been sensational all season,” said Ferguson. “He is the one player who has not missed any games. We rested him at Blackburn but he still came on as sub, because I think he needed the break then. He came back tremendously last week. If you look at the rest of the back four, they have all had scattered appearances. There’s no-one who has been near Evra’s consistency – no-one! We have done remarkably well to be in the picture despite the handicaps of the back four players being injured.”
