Following the massive disappointment of derby day defeat, Sir Alex Ferguson has today claimed that United have been putting the work in on the training ground to ensure we get the required result tomorrow against Arsenal.
“It has been a quiet training field this week,” said Fergie. “The derby result had a deep impact on the team – they feel it. They are genuine players with a genuine desire to do well. But they know they have an uphill fight to win the league. We must ensure we do not drop many more points.”
It seems however, if photographs taken this week at training are anything to go by, that United have had a fairly enjoyable weeks training.
