Arsenal’s Theo Walcott has revealed his admiration for Ryan Giggs, claiming that our winger has everything any footballer wants.
It’s hard to argue with that. More appearances for Manchester United than every other player, a 19-year-long plus career at the top, eleven league titles, two European Cups and four FA Cups. He won the PFA Young Player of the Year in 1992 and 1993, then went on to win the PFA Player of the Year almost two decades later.
“I want to be like Ryan Giggs,” Walcott said. “People talk about the money footballers earn, but, deep down, all players want what Giggsy’s got now: medals, goals, everything, but most of all trophies. That’s my idea of success. That would be brilliant.”
Sadly, you signed for the wrong club then, pal!
