Daley Blind rescued a point for Manchester United yesterday in their 1-1 draw with West Ham. His injury time goal levelled the score after Cheikhou Kouyaté’s effort was deflected in.

The Dutchman has sung the praises of the travelling support who were vocal throughout yesterday’s draw.

In the second half we started better and kept up the pressure directly after the break but then they scored an early goal. We showed a fighting spirit and the character we have and we tried to win the game in the end, but we have to do with the draw and one point. Of course, we wanted more. We kept on going and also the fans were amazing. They’re incredible with how they support for the whole 90 minutes, so credit for that. That keeps us going and we want that every game. I like that there’s another game coming already because we can forget this one. We have to keep looking up and three points is important in the next game.
