Eric Cantona is currently in Singapore with New York Cosmos who are on their tour with Asia.
In the Four Seasons hotel he was asked by The New Paper who he believed won win Sunday’s game between Manchester United and Liverpool.
“United will win,” said Cantona. “The key man? Ferguson. It’s a big squad and they are all great players. So if it is an injury or a player banned, it’s not a problem. Kenny Dalglish has done very well since he came back. He will have an effect on the game, but not enough to beat United.”
Cantona was then asked who believed was going to win the title this season, after officials cost United vital points at Stamford Bridge this week.
“United,” he replied. “You know, everybody knows it except the Liverpool fans.”
