Manchester United take on Lyon tonight in the Champions League as favourites to progress to the quarter finals. Following a 1-1 away draw in France, United have a crucial away goal and will be hoping to cruise through to the next round.
Eric Cantona has recently spoken out about United’s chances in Europe, saying he hopes Sir Alex Ferguson manages to win another two Champions League titles in his time with the club.
“I really hope United will win it this season,” said Cantona. “And, if they do, I hope they will win another one next year. I’m sure Sir Alex will find the words to help the team win it. That is the key. He has to find goals all the time. If he wins it this year, then he will find another goal for next year. It’s why he’s still at Old Trafford after 21 years. He always finds something more after winning something – that’s why he is the greatest.”
