dunno what match your watching mate.. ive seen him beat a player about 10 times so far in this match.
fans need to learn to get behind players, 1 half and there shite.
nani has been quality when his played this season and he aint doing that bad today all he needs to do is pass ealier instead of taking hours apart from that his alright.

Jack - There is no extra bonus for beating a player 10 times - his problem is and always will be that he takes too many touches on the ball, doesn't release it at the right time - that's why he's not going to become the world class player that his ability says he should be..

Jack - I don't think there is any other player in the world that has the level of dedication Ronnie had to improve himself - just can't compare anyone to him - Nani on the other hand, is exactly the same as when he came here, and how long ago was that? He's not a bad player by any means, I just had much higher hopes for him

tony starks - and you still can hold high hopes for him, his still young and like i said his got crazy amount of pototentional, fergie will hopefully get all that out of him.
we've all got our own opinions on this so were never agree but he started off the season brillianlty then 1 game and his shite again.

the Neviller was being interviewed after the game about what he said to fabio after he was sent off.
Geoff Shreeves was intimating that maybe Red Nev was consoling the lad after the red card, Neville said no and was just telling fabio to get off the pitch a bit quicker.

Fantastic pass from owen and great take for goal by Welbeck

Backline were very good tonite. Good discipline.

Tiny tears don't talk rubbish mate! Nani was the only player entertaining the crowd and bringing cheers in an otherwise dead atmosphere at OT in the 1st half. Nani was the ONLY UNited player double marked, and he played his part! Worked his arse off. He is not Ronaldo or Anderson and you shouldn't expect him to be. No Nani in Besiktas, and we would have CL 1 point instead of 3. Some of you Nani haters have short memories!

Tony Starks - you must know more than Fergie then eh? Because SAF said in MUTV interviews answering the press question about Nani - "The lad has done well so far in the games this season, and he TRAINS HARD AND IS REALLY FOCUSED. I'd rather go with SAF's assessment than yours mate. It isn't long ago Fletcher was getting the same vilification as Nani gets from some of you - but that's United fans for you eh?

I think nani is the one which impressed me tonight. He just need to improve on his decision making and crossing. Both of this comes with experience. Don't anyhow comment if you hate so much on one players. If he were to score an important goal, you would have change you mind. Get behind all the players if you really support the team and not by saying bad things all the time.

Whilst Nani is undoubtedly very talented, he is the most frustrating player. He can go from the sublime to the ridiculous and back again several times a game! Too often though he does make the wrong choices, seems to want to beat the man 1 too many times when the early cross or simple ball would be a better option. He been at the club 2 years now and hasnt shown any huge improvement. This is a big season for him as he needs to push on and improve. I would also agree, i's have Tony Valencia in the team ahead of nani at the moment, i just feel he offers more, and he was really the difference in the derdy game too.

As for Carrick, his confidence just seems shot, 18 months ago he was right on top of his game but now he just looks lost out there. Will be difficult for him to get a starting place back any time soon with fletch playing as well as he is too.

forty five fucking quid for that shit. Poor slow game. It was like a practice match. Crowd were getting very frustrated with Nani and rightly so. He can beat a man with ease but his final ball tonight was shocking. Really starting to lose patience with him. Thought Wes played well and Josh King looks excellent. If I was new to the game I would have thought Gibbo was the experienced midfielder not Carrick. Kuscak's kicking was awful, simply awful. However a great save from the free kick.

Still a good result considering we played the majority with 10 men.

I've been watching Nani closely this year for both United and the part he's played in Portugals games. I've never been a big fan of his but I think there are signs that he's on his way to being a member of SAF's first XI.
When you next see him play notice how he pauses to weigh up the options before he makes his next move.For the last few seasons he played as if he was on automatic pilot. I belive Fergie's got him to work on his decision making and while he isn't yet making all the right decisions or is too slow in making any decsion, at least he's making himself aware of the options. He's just turning 23 and in the next couple of years I give him a 50/50 chance of moving up to "world class". (And without wanting to sound arogant ... I reckon that's what Fergie believes as well..... which is good enough for me!)

king eric. wot do u expect from 7 youngsters and 3 experienced(2 of hem not even played 90 minutes yet as they come from injury one isnt 1st choice for the competitive game)? come on guys we all manutd supporters we should back our players. i see some of the fans always come up with rediculous comments about nani, i cant see any wrong in nani and i think some of them are anti nani supporters here. he is progressing well as he didnt play enough games last season and now its his time to show wot he can do with his foot also not to forget we have played only 7 games still theres lot to play and nani will prove wot he is worth. when u compare nani to carrick today nani was many mile better than carrick so y dont u pick carrick to blame? wesley done a gud job but fabio's send off was wesley's fault y dont u pick that point? just support our team not players its like our family we always defend our brothers and sisters even if they r wrong coz they r our blood, its same thing here we support to one club build up by 11 players.

honestly im all about getting behind new / young players developing, giving them time before judging..
but it's been 3seasons now where he can hardly take a decent corner, nevermind him being able to dribble a player, whats the point if he doesn't have a decent end product.
Someone mentioned Valencia is all speed and no end product, do you ignore his crosses ? he's the one you should give some time not nani.

Saying that, whats the harder skill to master? beating a man or crossing it in. Both can be developed.

Eventually I just throw my hands up and say he can do a whole lot better having a quiet game with no errors than a game where we notice him. Do a team job and work on the rest at training. SAF doesn't pick him until he does
