The average cost of a pint at a Premiership football ground is £3.19, some 44p more experience than the country’s average price.

Outline of the London club, who you’d expect to be more expensive anyway, City, Sunderland, West Brom, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Everton all charge more for a pint than at Old Trafford. The likes of Stoke, Hull and Blackburn charge the same, with only Bolton, Middlesbrough and Wigan selling their beer for less.

When you consider Wigan and Middlesbrough’s average attendance this season has been 7,000 less than full capacity, whilst Bolton’s has been down by an average of 3,000, it’s no surprise they’re trying to keep their fans sweet with cheaper beer!
