Gary Neville was called back in to the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers, which is rather odd, considering he’s behind John O’Shea in pecking order at United and has hardly played this season.

Still, England and Chelsea captain, John Terry, has today claimed he is impressed with Nev’s hunger and regards our captain as his role model.

“It’s fantastic to see his hunger,” Terry said. “I’ve always said he’s been a great role model, to me included. He’s a great player to have round the squad. If players are out of the squad, Gaz has shown if you work hard and play well then you’ll get your chance back in the side.”

Well, that’s nice. But contrary to Capello’s suggestion, Terry is no role model of ours!
