Javier Hernandez has explained his move away from Manchester United being due to the fact he needed to go somewhere he was loved.
Having spent the past season on loan to Real Madrid where his role was marginalised, and returning to United where he could expect more of the same, he decided a move to Bayer Leverkusen was the right thing for him.
I want to go back to feeling important and happy. I want to find happiness. Bayer made me feel important and loved and coming here was not a difficult decision to make. They made me feel wanted. I want to help and achieve important things. I have felt very loved. I hope to accomplish things in my head and in my heart.
