After scoring two goals against Marseille last night, Javier Hernandez now has 16 goals in 33 appearances. Whilst he is happy with that return, he was reluctant to receive too much praise for his tally.
“It’s impressive,” he said. “I always say I am in the best team in the world. I am happy more than anything about the result and that we got the win. My goals are down to the work of the whole team.”
Hernandez has been surprised with how much football he’s played this season after joining United from the Primera División de México in the summer.
“I didn’t expect to play as much so I need to thank my team-mates, the coaching staff and God above all for the fact things are going so well for me.”
