Manchester United have today confirmed that Tahith Chong will join Birmingham City on a season-long loan. Having spent the first half of the last season on loan with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga before moving to Club Brugge in January, the winger will join the Championship side who finished 18th last season.
Chong scored one and assisted four in 13 appearances in Belgium as Brugge went on to win the league. Having now made 44 senior appearances in England, Germany and Belgium, Chong is adding some experience of the Championship to his CV.
He has been capped six times by Netherlands Under-21s and won the Denzil Haroun Reserve-Team Player of the Year award in 2019, showing his future is bright.
Having joined United players at training this week he will now make the move to Birmingham.
Good luck, Tahith!
