City failed to sell out Blackburn away tonight, despite the tickets going on General Sale two weeks ago, just like they failed to sell out Liverpool away a few weeks ago, but the fans that did bother to show up tonight were in full voice.
“Who put the ball in the Munichs’ net? Super Yaya Toure.”
Apart from the Munich song, they also sing “Carlos Tevez is a blue, he hates Munichs.”
It’s nice to see last night’s BBC programme, United, worked wonders in educating our friends from Stockport. I wonder what Brian Kidd makes of it all.
Try this for a laugh: ask a City fan who Frank Swift is.
Of course, whilst it’s not the “small minority” they claim it is, it would be unfair to claim all City fans sing about Munich.
