Martial did try to pick out Lukaku a few times, but none came off, and I recall at least 2 or 3 instances where Martial was in good position to have a go at goal but chose to try to find Lukaku. I will have no issues if Martial be a tad more selfish, he is after all our best finisher in my opinion. He definitely have the skills to do a Henry at left wing forward

I think with 3 in the middle

Martial and Sanchez on the wings could have more freedom

We need to brong another top midfielder in the summer to do the second dirty work with Matic and it would let martial and sanchez breatje in the wings

Just one last word, about Rashford.

He seems stuck between thinking too much and not thinking at all. At times he gets the ball, can't decide what to do, and does nothing even when teammates are in good positions. And there are times he just tries to hit a shot or cross wayyy too hard in pure hope of something coming off.

He should just get back to basics

Would we have been better, buying sanchez for 30mill , Ozil for free in the summer, keeping Henrikh and letting Mata and zlatan go in the summer?

It happens a lot with all these modern day, jack of all trades forwards.. they all look confused... where as Valencia would concentrate on getting to the byline and crossing ..

Actually, I kinda know how it feels. I played football for a quite while, just those small scale neighborhood to regional competitions. I vividly remember a match in which my team dominated. I was playing forward and nothing was going my way. My shots, lots of them in that match, hit everything except the back of the net. I was frustrated and just hit as hard as I could all the time

Then my captain came over, pat me on my back, and went on to casually pass a ball into the net for a goal. It was unbelievably simple

So sometimes, we make things hard for ourself, especially when we are young, when things can be extremely simple.

Hopefully Rashford can calm down soon and just do the simple stuff that got him to where he was
