What kind of formation are we playing with this line-up ?
And as for the back 4, is Jones at RB ?

Calvin
It's the same formation
Mourinho has earmarked the 11 position for a second striker
From the prenatal discussion on the other thread:
Apparently our younger strikers are either poor there or being wasted there depending on how one chooses to look at it .

4-3-3 and yes jones at RB, Roo-Ibra-Mata up front. Should destroy Palace.

Eric Baily is right back in place of valencia, Blind is left back m, Rooney on the left flank and Pogba behind Zlatan. That should be the formation!!!

No pace in the wide positions.
The only player who can take somebody on is Pogba.
Not encouraging.
I'm braced for a frustrating night.

Ok I see nothing, I know nothing!
2-1 united
Pogba to play behind Zlatan when in possession
Rojo,Jones FB The Beast Bailly with quick reacting sweeper keeper handling their counter. Matta and Rooney played through by Carrick.
Pogba to get a brace so maybe 4-2

I'll call it a well deserved lucky break.
Now let's get an early insurance goal.

Just saw elsewhere the decision on the line up. Of course injury and suspension afflicted the right side, but he rotated the left side too and decided to keep the spine or central parts intact!

krossman x December 14, 2016
can someone please tell Rojo not to try and amputate the opposition i know we want to win but damn someone will eventually end up in A&E if he keeps flying in with both feet like that.

Also those assholes on NBC keep saying Pogs was offside which is total horse shit he wasnt at all.

United has to go for the kill in the second half we have them on the ropes and their knees are wobbling we just need that knockout punch and its game over.

all those who keep saying pogs isnt the shit and aint worth all that money need to understand football. He is a game changer yes he does the hollywood stuff but it comes off most times than not the only reason he not top scorer now is because all gks are aware of him and perform on a higher level when they play United.

we need a player thats on the same intelligence level as Pogs i think ADM came to United a couple of seasons too early he would have fit the current team like a glove.

anyways glory glory man united i think theres goodtimes ahead as long as Felaini dosent turn up we,ll be fine.

Oh oh here we go again. DDG a good goal keeper but he can hardly save a baby from a burning building at his near post. Fuck am pissed.

Go out there and win this thing another draw would be a disaster FFS Win this effing match.

That was hardly a goalkeeper fault, it was badically a poir defending mainly from Darmian.

Zana I am not dissing DDG ok maybe I dissed him a lil..but he is class at the end of day. Zlatan tho is he the real deal or what? We deserve this. I am so glad Jose will have the last laugh on all the Einsteins who kicked him when he was down.

While it's been well documented that I'm not a fan of Zlatans style.... boyyyyyyy oh boyyyyyyy am I grateful of his talents tonight!!!!
Great great goal. That's his best finish since his arrival.... the angle was so against him, defenders closing down, keeper looked big , time against us but Zlatan found the back of the net! Well finished Zlatan!

Zlatan
14goals and 5assists (2europa (own goal), 1efl, 2league (rashford pass against watford, pogba goal tonight)

So 14 goals 5 assists in 21 starts + 3from the bench

He has been involved in 19 goals in his 21 starts

AMAZING!

Just putting this out there, but imma let him do the talking and hopefully it means wins evey time!

Man what a rush. It looked like one of those nights but surprise surprise the man of the hour buries far corner. All the talk if experience he can pass on, his decisiveness in front of goal is what I hope the young uns learn from.
Rojo a lucky boy but have you ever seen such an unlikely partnership in Rojo and Jones.

Good win.
Almost lost points due to referee again.
Like I keep saying, Pogba and Zlatan are an acquired taste. They may frustrate you at times, but the quality is there.

I hope to see more and more of the brilliance, and less of the nonchalance as the season moves on.

A few comments on others, but will save for another time. Let's savour the win!

We can all look and make some points, it's apparent that Zlatan and Pogba are on a different level to the rest of our players when we go forward. Mkhi is on their level but the others aren't really doing it consistently.

Martial can get there but he is too inconsistent this season, he needs to be played out of the "bad run" of 2goals 1assist in the last 3games, people rave about mata whom i love as a #10 but this Kid Martial is the one who we need to moan about if he dont play,

Rooney is on his fading but he still has his A+ moments, Mata is A+class when played as #10, on the wings he's B+, Rashford is young.

This being said, shaw needs to effin wake up and look up at Valencia and suddenly we have 2attacking fullbacks

At home against little clubs
Zlatan
Martial Mata/Rooney Mkitharian
Pogba Herrera

At home against big clubs/away
Martial Zlatan Mkitharian
Pogba Herrera
Carrick

So simple

Peace

If anyone gives you guys slack about the rojo challenge

Just remind them that they went 2times on the same way, or maybe even 3. Not with 2feet but feet up and straight on the leg of at least bailly carrick and someone else.

@ash

Its funny because Pogba was at the same time world class and B+ haha you could not make that up

That is his game and the lads need to understand it on the pitch, he's s risk taker ala ronaldinho so he lmight loae it sometimes but that is when herrera carrick and the defenders come to pmay and sometimes even the wingers

Anyway MOTM

Superb performance for that team. Absolutely delighted.

- Rooney was abysmal just put him out of his misery already.
- Pogba is unreal he is worth 89m.
- Carrick played much better than against Spurs.
- Rojo (naughty naughty) and Jones were good again.
- Zlatan scoring a big goal despite the fact he was anonymous for long periods.

Rojo is being unbelievably stupid with these "tackles" but I like the aggression United have been too nice for years.
