Manchester United have travelled to Newcastle for our first game since Norwich on December 11th, thanks to positive covid cases closing down the training ground.

It couldn’t have come at a worse time, with Ralf Rangnick desperate to implement his new tactics, but the players have been doing their ‘homework’ whilst Carrington has been closed. They have been given individual training programmes and Rangnick’s newly appointed staff have been working out of The Lowry Hotel.

United are currently seventh in the table but have two or three games in hand on those above them, other than Spurs. A win this evening would take us to fifth, five points behind Arsenal who have played two more games than us.
