Isn't it nice going into a game not fretting even with 9 players out. I wasn't worried unlike under the previous regime when even at full strength i had plenty of doubts.

Ole and his team just seem to know what to do. That Bailly substitution and change of position for Young was spot on. Loved the link up pay for the third goal.

Well done to Lukaku. Goals will do his confidence the world of good. Alexis is working hard and improving but WAU, I think it was right to bring him off at that point. McTominay I thought did well and Fred needs a run of games and a or a good pre-season and I think he'll be ready for 2019-2020.

True true. I have to agree. Right call from Ole! Also I’m glad you’re seeing the improvement. Slowly but surely.

Also Lukaku is slowly coming back on form. On time. Just as you said. Great having 9 players out and still perform. It shows that we have all the players fighting

Massive result and great tactical performance from Ole and the management crew.

Smalling and Lindelöf very solid at the back for the umpteenth time. Shaw as well, and obviously Young got the all-important goal.

Overall a very good performance from the players.

Good points. You would have thought all the 'experts' looking at the running stats would be able to make the connection about sitting deep, keeping shape and denying the opposition space resulting in less running: but no its easier for them to say the players downed tools.

You should check out the stream Zana recommended. it's High Definition on my iPad and worked almost continuously for the whole game.

As for the match itself.

It was a decent performance. Very disciplined, professional and mature football. I think Ole may just have more depth and versatility than we initially thought. He is showing a great deal of this lately, especially under immense adversity.

The defense was supreme and as usual Shaw was on the money. Why do useless managers like LVG try to suppress this kind of talent. Luke Shaw has been one of the best players this season. My player of the season thus far. Exceptionally consistent. Lindelof has been our best CB hands down. Another very consistent player. Smalling has really struck a good partnership with Lindelof and they look very comfortable together. I think we should stick with them.

The midfield was largely ineffective so nothing to see there. Though Pogba worked hard and showed quality when it was desperately necessary for him to.

Sanchez was ok. He seems to be improving slowly. We should keep giving him game time to build his confidence. He is a very good quality player. I think he still has plenty to offer. Though it has really been disheartening to see Mkhitaryan doing so well for Arsenal since coming back from injury.

Lukaku had a much better game. Passing of course is a mission impossible but he does find the net. And overall his off the ball movement was a bit better today. There was a lot more mobility especially when Rashford came on. Good 1st goal. Certainly not man of the match despite the claims. Luke Shaw,Smalling, Lindelof. But much improved from the atrocity of the last match

And honestly so was Young. He did a decent job but mostly when he switched to winger. At RB,he was vulnerable and being troubled by Zaha in the second half. I think that's why Solskjaer brought Bailly on.

Overall good performance and result from a very precarious situation. Another feather for Ole

no one around him - all he had to do was look up. put his arms as if to say 'come and get it' -- Loris comes and he slides it past him -- comedy gold. Would have liked to see spurs equalize though.
the battle for 4th is gonna go down to the wire. if we keep pace with Chavs and Arsenal we just have to beat them both and it is ours. Great win today!
