Manchester United take on Copenhagen in the one leg Europa League quarter-final this evening. Having beaten LASK 7-1 on aggregate in the last round, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team are looking to go another step closer to winning the first piece of silverware under this manager.

Copenhagen’s manager, Ståle Solbakken, is well known to Solskjaer, with the pair playing for Norway together in the 90s. They finished 2nd in the Danish league this season and their top scorer, Pieros Sotiriou, left for FC Astana a few months ago.

Solskjaer has unsurprisingly picked a strong starting XI although there are a few surprises. Sergio Romero gets the nod over David de Gea, Eric Bailly starts ahead of Victor Lindelof, and Fred is chosen over Nemanja Matic.

Romero, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Williams, Fred, Pogba, Fernandes, Rashford, Greenwood, Martial.

Subs: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Lindelof, Mengi, Pereira, James, Lingard, Mata, Matic, McTominay, Chong, Ighalo.
