Even if we didnt score I would have still been happy with the performance. The ccombination play is just a joy to watch and the goals come if we master playing like that. If Miki could just get his mojo back as his inclusion speeds the game up and in my opinion if Martial had started in place of Rashford we would have been in front earlier.

ifean,

Just don't know what has happened to Mikki .

I think Rashford tries too hard at times, I think if he slowed down a bit and took more care he would reap the rewards, not everyone can get a "Jessie" goal.

I would start Martial in every game, but that was our third game in seven days, so a bit of rotation was needed .

Really enjoyed the match, if was far better than the drivel dished up when I went .

Credit to Derby also, they played their part .

But Jessie Lingard, just what can you say ? he's Man United forever and on his way to being the first real home grown legend in the club since the class of 92!

I am so pleased for him !

Jesse Lingard is single handedly ripping up Joses transfer plans... kudos to the lad. This guy needs to play , simple as! He reminds me of Lampard ... without appearing great, he's greatly affecting games!

Mhiki is on his way out. Sadly!!! This guy can play but he's confidence is low right now and the manager doesn't trust him or have the time or energy for him . Sometimes, it just doesn't workout .

Replacement is simple. Mesut Ozil and Riyad Mahrez ... the best part Is that Ozil is free and if you do sell Mhiki, you can pay for Mahrez.
Add Mahrez to this fluid formation and BOBs your uncle .

I would also use this opportunity to let IBRA go!!! even though I'm not Marcus Rashfords biggest fan, I'd give him more minutes at the No9.

Yusuf,

I was very surprised Mhiki started after his performance against Southampton (but he wasn't on his own there).

I have a feeling that Ibra will announce his retirement shortly.

Sadly I think the injury he suffered was too severe to recover properly from at his age. As you get older injuries happen more often and take longer to heal .

His meniscus and cruciate ligament damage was very severe and I was very surprised to see him return, this type of injury has ended the careers of many a younger player .

Ibra has had a glittering career, but it will be a sad day if he decides to hang up his boots

Exactly! Also the Jose press conference HAHA he KO’d conte. Absolutely brilliant

And yeah many of the FTD crew standing behind the manager and team, ehich is great news, and not reacting to every result ala arsenalfantv style which unfortunately has become the norm with our supporters too

As for Rashford

Lets remember that at that age, Lingard was on loan and what not and look at him blossom

Rashford on the other hand, is on his third season playing as a regular ManUtd player and is only 20!!!! He will improve, he will slow down and once he starts hitting the target, i expect him do what Ronaldo did and get those 30 goals seasons!

Yes I’m a Martial fan and think Martial is more talented just like messi to ronaldo but both are as good as each others if you know what i mean

So PATIENCE!! Just look at Lingard!

Obviously after coming as a sub and score that 91 minute winner

WAU,

Sadly I have a feeling that the injury is going to get the better of him .

But he could stay round as a coach.

We can leave it down to Lionel Jesse to score the winner !

I wasn't knocking Rashford by the way, I think he is an amazing talent !

I think if Stoke draw their cup match today our league game against them is being brought forward to a week today instead of a week Monday.

I wonder what all the people who have booked flights and hotels will do if this happens ?

Just a thought.

yeah, it does seem like that and I'd take that Jesse Messi winner all day every day !
don't worry I know you weren't knocking him cause it's pretty obvious the lad has immense talent, immense I SAY!!! patience is key.

and yeah heard about that league game, so here's to a stoke win or loss.

hm I heard they would give the tickets to the commentators of ROM, I wonder what that flight and vacation be if all of us would be there HAHA

Coutinho is all set to be the first player since 1990 to play for Liverpool and also win a League title in the same season....

Nice one,
Klopp in the summer..
I wasn't here when sterling was sold, I wasn't here when suarez was sold, I'm here now and I can tell you Coutinho is going nowhere..
Hahaha..

Mobi,

I agree, but these footy players are quick enough to sign contracts though aren't they and kiss the badge for about twenty minutes until something better comes along ?

And have you noticed how Suarez has behaved himself since he has got his own way ?

But in Courtinho's defence, where would you rather live, in Liverpool or Barcelona ?

Trevor probably had enough of being felt up by Klopp.145 mill is madness he's a decent player but not 145 mill worth, really don't get why Barca was in such a rush to buy him, they'll win the league anyway and he's CL cup tied.I find it a bit of a odd move for a January signing.

It is very odd indeed, But it seems to be the way it is these days . It is just one huge business

Trevor in this era of non contact football, pristine pitches and the modern football he'd be unstoppable in any league, so 3 to 4 times the value of what Coutinho just cost
Apart from the playing side he'd be a goldmine in endorsements etc,he was back in the 60's.Sold everything from sausages to women's hairspray, there's no one in football today that had his charisma

Wayne,

Did you ever meet him? i'm sure you did, he was a down to earth guy.

He would have loved the old Trafford pitch they have now
