It's a sinking ship, and the captain and crew aren't in sync. Any guesses as to what happens next?

Bale Ronaldo Isco Benzema Kroos Modric Ramos Varane Marcelo

Vs

Rashford Lingard Lukaku Pogba Lindeloff mata Fellaini Matic Bailly shaw

I wonder which is the better team . Somehow I think any manager with half a brain would compete better with Madrid team

Pogba is a virus and has become too big for his boots ....
Mourinho certainly does himself no favours but NO player should be bigger than the manager...

Yusuf - do you mean any manager no matter the circumstances? Seems that the manager loyalty thing is either whom ever (like saf) earns the loyalty deserves the loyalty, but blind loyalty (like moyes in a way for 3/4 a season, or as it appears to me mou for certainly the last Yr and half) just leads to and continues folly...
To me last night even mou's chosen/trusted players looked like were giving a message of not being happy... or else was just bad timing for poor performance to put credence to rumours

Yes and the great mourinho with his big brain competed so much better than Zidane in the CL didn't he?

I mean Zidane had
Kroos Casemiro Modric
Isco Benzema Ronaldo

But mourinho only had
Alonso Khedira
DiMaria Ozil Ronaldo
Benzema

Sam Allardyce anyone? I mean he managed England albeit for a few days.

He would steady the ship and ensure we finish in the top ten...

Sorted

Bryan,

My daughter lives near Doris Day, I could ask her to pop round to see if she would like a bash at managing .

She's 96 but has more life in her than our midfield

We could be on to something here. We should not forget Jonathan Pie.........Could make him our news correspondent. Can you imagine his rants on the FA and our rivals?

Here’s the answer Giggs comes in does all the management stuff.
We give Roy Keane a bottle of Jameson’s before every game and put him in the dressing room.
Giggs tells the players if ye mess up you’re dealing with Keane in the dressing room.

Mark

That's genius. Add to that Cantona, just to hang about with his collar up and give speeches to the players that they would never understand!!

Maybe we can add scholesy as a tackling coach?

Great idea re Scholes, he would teach them the art of tackling as well as how to give the ref that look of innocence 'I did not mean it ref, honest'

I question how many on here have been in leadership positions. For anyone here to take Pogbas side smells of inexperience.
Man Utd will not be the club that sides with a player over the coach... Pogbas attitude is disgusting . He plays to the gallery . He’s a spoilt petulant brat!

Mourinho has been Mourinho throughout his career. The club knew who he was, signed him and so should back him.
Wes Brown

Beckham have left for undermining the Manager.. Good bye Paul .

If you want to sack Mourinho because the results have not been good enough, fair enough but to sack because of Pogba , you’d have to be mad

Fergie sided with Quieroz over Keane his captain . Yes his lambasting of the younger players was extreme but that could have been dealt with privately .

I think most people on this post are pissed off with Mourinho and his style of football and management. I think you’re missing the point of the post and failing to see the obvious that a lot of people are far from fans of Pogba. Some are ambivalent and a few like him, but quite a few don’t like it rate him.

But yesterday’s game was not about Pogba: it was the about the fact that we got beat by Derby at home by a novice manager of a championship team playing better football than us.

People keep telling us Mourinho needs time. Lampard and Derby should slap that fallacy down. Get over the media’s fixation with the Pogba v Mourinho feud. It’s boring and the wrong story. The real story is the inability of Mourinho to coach his team into something close to resembling the sum of their parts.

This . Everything else, the pogba angle included is just noise.
Ezzerguru September 26, 2018
And as for leadership. I’m fortunate that in my job I get to work with and hear from the top leaders in all Industries and from all walks of life from all over the world. Not one has advocated a management style like Jose’s. Most say it’s a sign of a good leader to listen to opinions of their staff and to encourage their team to challenge them. In other words lead with no ego.

Never going to happen with an insecure narcissist at our helm is it.

As I read Yusuf's comment I immediately disagreed on the leadership point, as I carried on reading I wondered how to respond.. and then I read your comment..

Perfect.. took the words right out of my mouth!
