Manchester United take on Leeds at Old Trafford this afternoon in our first Premier League meeting since our rivals were relegated in 2004. Football being played behind closed doors is obviously so disappointing but it’s hard to think of a game our fans would rather attend than this one. While we have faced each other in a couple of cup games in more recent years, to illustrate how long it’s been since we played each other in the league, Alan Smith was playing for them last time. He then signed for us, played close to 100 games, won the league, went on to bob around at League One and Two clubs then retired.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has scored against in the past is all too familiar with the rivalry between the two clubs, so will know how important it is for our fans to get a result today.
