This is what I call a Manchester United football team, maybe Rooney (suspended) for Chicha and Carrick (Injured) for Cleverley and we have our best team available.

If we can't win with this team then I don't know what else can we do.

I HOPE AND WISH RVP scores a stunner and goes to hug Moyes, because those ABU's would get it into their face.

@xyz what more he could have done? Mate he's gone for t'he idiotic 4-4-2 again!!! He's totally conceded t'he midfield battle and is hoping for rvp and chicha to do a lot of dropping deep to pick t'he ball up. Adnan to cover evra again? Oh lord let us all just t'he newcastle wingers dont turn up at all today.
This was suppozd to be basic, play a 4-3-3 with a midfield of jones, clevz and ando to ensure t'he ferking visiting team dont outplay us on our own turf again. 4-3-3 would have limited adnan and nani's defensive obligations, lets just hope t'he lads play outta their skin today.

Arguably The best lineup we could put out.midfield of jones and cleverly sucks though.both clueless when they have possession of the ball.
What has anderson got to do to get a game surely.
Also fellaini was ok vs everton.
I would have loved to see him and ando start in midfield.everyone has had their chance in midfield except ando with no one really impressing.
Amyway hoping for a win.anything else is unacceptable.

I just hope RVP doesn't drop to deep behind Hernandez. I want to see him in the box getting on the end of crosses and putting the ball in the back of the net. I do like the look of both Adnan and Nani out wide as they can both beat the full backs with ease.

Typical! Against arsenal rooney played 90% of t'he game in midfield making it almost a 3man midfield, agains leverkusen kagawa did t'he same thing, now tell m'he which one of chicha and rvp can do that? U gotta look beyond just how many attacking options we have mate, look at it from a tactical perspective too.
We may struggle really bad to get t'he ball upto chicha and robin today. But i hope am wrong and t'he boys win today.

That's why we're playing wingers.....the 2 midfielders will be efficient, defensive and lie fairly deep. 2 creative attacking wingers will provide the ball for 2 strikers, both good in the air. It's the equivalent (but not as high quality sadly!) of the United of the 90s with Ince and Keane in the middle and Giggs and Kanchelskis on the wings. Works a charm as long as the wingers create.

Xyz i hope u are witnessing what i predicted? I are been ferking outplayed in our own stadium by a strong compact midfield 3. In t'he days of ince and keane everybody else in england played 4-4-2 too.
Those days we struggled in europe to teams that played more continental football too.

Suzy - Newcastle are playing 4-5-1. They are using the 2 wide men to man mark our fullbacks which is making it difficult for them to start attacks and overlap. Nani is not creating. As I said earlier 4-4-2 is fine if your wingers create. If we were playing 4-3-3 our fullbacks would be overrun on the wings by the 2 newcastle widemen and the overlapping full backs. Thankfully you are not picking our formation.

I think Jones Cleverley is not working, Jones has been dreadful on the ball today, bring on Anderson if Jones does not improve today

Jones gets the ball and that's it, can't find anyone, Cleverley playing well.

nani getting past players and Januzaj playing very well. Chicha has been good, but now it's time to involve RVP more.

Newcastle have parked the bus - happy with a draw, hoping to nick a goal. If we do score one we'll beat them easy as they'll have to come and attack - we are set up to counter. At the moment their 5 men across the middle is choking us to death. They are cutting off the full backs as soon as they lose possession. We need that spark, that creativity. Nani so far not performing, Januzaj looks the only hope. Games like this you miss Rooney and Kags. Not much creativity on the bench either.....need a goal soon.

Do people on here understand that you can pick any lineup in the world but unless the tactics, formation and instructions are right, it won't make an ounce of difference. You can ask messi to play for stoke but the performance will still be shit.
The issue has long not been who's playing but how we are playing.

We can't pass and our build-up play in nonexistent. We are set up in a way that makes it really easy to break up our play and hit on the counter. Nothing much wrong with the players (although the crowd can't wait to get on Nani's back), everything wrong with the approach. Look at the spaces between CB's and midfield and midfield and strikers, and then wonder why we are so incredibly impotent.

To all those you still stand behind moyes, you all really dont get it.

The reason he makes changes that dumbfound everyone is because of arrogance. Sir Alex possessed that too, but Sir Alex was always willing to learn and improve. To hire people who were better than him at certain things.

Moyes' choice to restructure the training and staff from the bottom up speaks volumes of his arrogance and attitude that whatever he knows is "best". By continually playing player's out of position, he is enforcing that idea. Even today. With nani on the left ans adnan on the right. The best play of adnan came when he found himself on the left.

Dark days ahead. It is going to get much worse before it gets better. His systems may eventually work (who knows), but don't expect anything for at least 5 years.

When it ain't broke, don't fix it...unless your name is Moyes
