What a good game....Tony V was awesome and Sheasy had a really good game too...commentators calling Manutd reserves....right in ur face....when Gibbo went down after that kick in the stomach.....I thgt this might be his last chance...but what a bloody good game....go on Gibbo....he's no world class...but he's far better than what people here think of...absolutely loved the whole team thanking fans and everyone after the game.....

2. Berbatov - I absolutely fucking love him - he's got Manchester United tatooed on his heart. So fucking unselfish

Barcelona - 2 finals in 4 years and 4 consecutive semi-finals.
Man United - 3 finals in 4 years and 4 semi-finals in 5 years. (Should've been 5 in 5 and 4 in 4 mind you)

Barcelona - Goals Scored - 27 ---- Conceded - 8
United - Scored - 18 ---- Conceded - 4 (An own goal and one today's game should not count because our first choice did not play). Essentially we've conceded only two proper goals in 12 games of football this season.

How are Barcelona going to FUCKING murder us when we have the meanest defense in all of Europe and have done so for the past few years. We've not conceded a goal away from home all season. That has never been done in the history of the tournament so far.

Manchester United UEFA Coefficient - 151.157
Barcelona UEFA Coefficient - 139.351

Guess UEFA's own ranking system must lie then if it ranks United so much above Barcelona.

All of the above are FACTS. If anyone with half a mind as much as went through them, they would realize Barcelona have it as much difficult as United do. IF and only IF Barcelona can beat the best defense in world football at the moment will have they have any chance of winning this year's Champions League.

I don't expect any fucking pundit to analyze those stats because it is a pre-determined conclusion that United is going to lose. Oh well, it will make the victory IF and WHEN it comes all the more sweeter.

Really entertaining game. Glad to see the team click a lot better than I thought they would.

As much as I enjoyed Ando doubling his goal tally for us, this night belonged to Gibson. Well done lad. Some of his passing reminded me of Scholes. Proved the Championship Manager supporters wrong. ;)

VishalS Bang out of order mate. Don't think you can compare any sports man, no matter how high or low, with lads who put their lives on the line to protect you and me mate. Bombing the compound and wiping out 3 families without knowing that OBL was there might have been comparable to "taking a dive". But these guys did it in a way that should bring eternal honor to their squad. Not one uninvolved family member killed. Bet the local police were pretty f*ckin impressed, and rightly so.

Costas - LOLS championship manager fans is an understatement. I stopped playing that shit last year lols. The game I was proven right, the form of united at OT and the european game, they slowed the play down, and played 2 their tempo and hit sckalke hard either on the counter or just played triangle's through the sckalke midfield. It was quiet freakish how united were able to bypass their midfield and get at their defence at such ease. It sometimes took 2 passes to get at them. If united had their best team it could have been 7 0 2day

Good call. Thats why I don't call players, SAF Isn't normally wrong. Got to give Gibson and Anderson credit both played well. Now we know what makes Anderson click... A goal or 2.
Valencia is again a class buy, gets the job done and learn't Neur can't handle Low and Hard shots.

1- Berbatov was aweful, his touch and passing is as good as messi is crap which is saying a lot.
Maybe He'd suit at a bigger club like Arsenal We're they play "Winning?" Football.

2- Gibson Was As awesome as Titus Bramble is Crap. Trying to move like iniesta and passing like Scholes. Its A Sad Day when one of our best players was so terribly consistant through 90 mins.

3- SAF should retire, the man has no idea how to manage a team, he sure is up there with the worst.

I have no idea why everyone who had their nickers in a twist over the team selection when united were 2 0 up, allot had sence the locals on ROM and a phew others. But playing against a sckalke side who leave a gapping hole between their defence to midfield and united 2 0 up, why was anyone worried.

This a new ferguson over the past 6 years, who has schooled himself on the new arts how to set his united side's up in europe and balance how we play in the premiership. He is the most dynamic manager in buisness, who is nothing short of a tactical genius. For me maybe fergie should have changed the way we play after the 99 final, like with luke who knows the way of the force, fergie also knows the way of the force of football, every tactic in the book he has, so I have full confidence in how he sets up sides. He has a plan A B C D E F G H I J K all the way to Z

You are going a bit overboard with "2) Gibson is iniesta in the making". He had a good game but even today against a poor midfield his positioning was often suspect.

Mind you perhaps his best 2 performances this season have come when playing with Anderson beside him and his shortcomings while still present in both havent seemed as problematic. Both games have been against teams who haven't really shown up so it's hard to say for certain but it's as if Andersons energetic box to box style covers for Gibsons positioning issues and knowing he has that cover allows him to play more free. Perhaps with the likes of Carrick the style of play does see his weakness exposed more and he then plays tighter and with less ease. In turn Anderson has played great the two games in question so perhaps Gibsom also let's Anderson play more naturally and better also

Grognard really is an idiot isn't he. Sadly he has the support of the admins who let him do what he wants. Anyone puts in a dcent argument to his opinions he gets all abusive and then reports you to the admins who will instantly put your posts on moderation.

After the whole Huntelaar thing I moved over here too, he really did have a hard on for him. I pointed out every time his record in Holland meant little as the Dutch league was weak these days. He went to RvN and Bergkamp as his proof and even when I listed ever Dutch based striker who did well in more modern seasons and failed in the English league he wouldn't accept that his dutch record wasn't proof he would be good in England and got abusive and reported me for disagreeing.

It's also sad that the regs all encourage his behaviour too

Red rants is full of retards. It's a shame, because there is good posters on that site. They get shouted down by cunts, who are full of their own self importance. I noticed one or two, who used to post on RoM. No one give any credence to their posts on here, hence, they moved to a different blog. One such cunt who posted on here for a while, before disappearing, was laying into Evans, Gibson and O'Shea before the game had even begun. Saying, that we can forget about reaching the European cup final, because these 3 lads were starting. Fair weathered fans.

A lot of people around me left early in the South Stand Upper and I'm pleased to say the Four twats directly in front of me who stood up every time we got in a threatening position on Schalke's goal.so much so that I knew Tony V was going to shoot for goal and didn't see it as they jumped up, same thing with Gibbo's goal. The three cup display was impressive and the support was great,top display with a much changed team congrats lads The Final's going to be something else.
