Manchester United travel to Bournemouth this afternoon with supporters hoping to see a good performance and a good result.

Following the frustrating 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend, which saw United battered for the first half before making a strong comeback in the second half before a dubious penalty for the scousers, Erik ten Hag will want to keep the vague hopes of a top four finish alive this afternoon.

With Raphael Varane ruled out until close to the end of the season and Jonny Evans also unavailable this afternoon, it’s slim pickings for United at the back. Although Harry Maguire and Willy Kambwala will be hoping to continue their impressive form from last weekend in the centre of United’s defence.

Bournemouth are coming in to this game on the back of a good run of home form, winning their last three fixtures in a row.

Onana, Dalot, Kambwala, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro, Mainoo, Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Hojlund.

Subs: Bayindir, Amass, O’Gunneye, Amad, Amrabat, Eriksen, Mount, Forson, Wheatley.

Bournemouth: Neto, Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Cook, Christie; Sinisterra, Kluivert, Ouattara; Solanke.
